Gov. Cuomo: ‘We will hold that rabbi accountable’ for defying state with 7,000 wedding guests

Story continues below advertisement“If that happened, it was a blatant disregard of the law,” New York’s Gov. Andrew Cuomo said during a briefing on Monday. “It’s illegal. It was also disrespectful of the people of New York.”
Cuomo was referring to a “secret wedding” help at Yetev Lev temple in Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY on November 8th. Satmar Grand Rabbi Aaron Teitelbaum had invited about 7,000 guests for the wedding of his grandson, Yoel Teitelbaum.
“If it turns out that because we stopped that wedding the reaction was, ‘Well we’ll have a secret wedding,’ that would be really shocking and totally deceitful,” Cuomo said. “It’s illegal and the city should do a robust investigation.

Even if I was unarmed…..I would NOT willingly load myself into dirty smelly railroad boxcars along with hundreds of thousands of other people like me. I heard that Jews got onto the dirty boxcars because they BELIEVED Hitler when he said he would take them “for a better place to live”. How Jews could be that gullible and ignorant, is beyond me.

In southeastern Marxachusetts they shut down the one righteous rabbi who was sponsoring a lecture series about militant Islam. We don’t have crocodiles here in this state so I assume they are feeding imams over at the Islamic Society of Boston instead.

I am so confused. I have heard, all of my life (and I’m an old fart) that a law is passed by the legislators. Whether bicameral (both houses) or unicameral, and then signed into law by the executive (governor, president, etc.).
When did a guinea negro, simply stating something, become “the law”.
If it is not “the law”, how are any similar actions “illegal”?
I’m just an old fart attempting to get a grasp of current events.

One of the things the Wilsonian Progressives did was to come up with the idea that Federal Agencies could write Rules that had the effect of law. (Violate an FAA or FCC Regulation and see what happens.) The States were more than happy to follow the same precedent such as California’s CARB that swings a heavy enough club to influence automobile design nationwide. This “old fart” has been dealing with that stuff for many decades. Yeah, and that is how you lose a Republic.

For many decades, we have seen agencies promulgate regulations that have the force of law, due to laws, duly passed by the legislature and signed by the executive branch.
This is the first time that I have encountered some little totalitarian despot, such as Nohio’s little mikki da-whiner, simply make up laws out of whole cloth.

Indeed. Jews individually are intelligent people. But as a group, not so much. The majority of American Jews vote Democrat despite the non-stop horrible treatment Democrats treat Jewish Americans and Israel. It’s kind of like how Jews as a group…….heard Hitler for years say how much he hated Jews…..but then ALL OF A SUDDEN….when Hitler ORDERED MILLIONS of Jews to get in filthy, stinky CATTLE CARTS….for “better places for them”…..Millions of Jews said…..YES Mr. Hitler….we believe you and we will get in those stinky, dirty train cars…despite all your hatred of us……Because you SAY SO! It’s heartbreaking. I grew up in a largely Jewish city in Marxachusetts, in the 1940s-60s and cannot even imagine behavior such as I have seen from these leftist rabbis. Back then everyone was celebrating Israel and there was no Islamic threat domestically.

What a great science experiment. They say we must wear a mask, distance, avoid crowds or we’ll get CV and die or give it to someone else. At the secret wedding 7,000 people wearing no masks, packed in tightly, singing and shouting?!! Has to be a super-spreader event like no other in the time of covid. Been over two weeks now and still no news stories reporting the huge uptick in infections, hospitalizations and deaths within that community. Pretty sure we’d never hear the end of it…24/7…so far crickets.
