Italy: Muslim Murders Priest, Pope Calls Perp a ‘Headache’

81

Mahmoudi Ridha, a Muslim migrant from Tunisia, last Tuesday murdered a Catholic priest in Italy, Fr. Roberto Malgesini. After killing Malgesini, Ridha crowed: “The priest died like a dog, that was right.” According to Church Militant, in the wake of the murder, “police have categorically rejected the Italian bishops’ claim” that Ridha “had mental problems.” And Pope Francis, as determined as ever to ignore the grim reality of Islamic jihad, declared that Ridha was “a person in need” and “malata di testa,” which is bad Italian for either “sick in the head” or a “headache.”

“I am not sure if Pope Francis is being deliberately ambiguous or speaking poor Italian as he often does,” said an Italian linguist. “Of course, he wouldn’t like his pro-migrant, pro-Muslim narrative to be disrupted if the assassin were found to have jihadi motives.”

Indeed. In light of his long-established positions, it is easy to understand why Pope Francis would call Ridha a “headache.” Ridha’s act could blow the Catholic Church’s deceptive game regarding Islam and mass Muslim migration wide open. The Catholic Church during the misrule of this Pope has become so wedded to the idea that mass migration is a good thing and a Christian duty to accept and enable that even when police reject the claim that a Muslim migrant murderer was mentally ill, the Church insists on it.

Story continues below advertisement

Even worse, “Roberto Bernasconi, president of the Como section of pro-migrant Catholic charity Caritas, blamed the ‘tragedy’ on the anti-migrant ‘climate of hatred and intolerance that is fomented in the city.’” That’s right: he is claiming that a Muslim migrant murdered a pro-migrant priest because of anti-migrant sentiment, which is not exactly the most effective way to stamp out such sentiment.

The Italian Catholic bishops and Roberto Bernasconi call to mind a passage from a book that those bishops probably haven’t read in a long while: “And for this reason God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.” (2 Thessalonians 2:11)

As I told Church Militant, no one in the media, Church or police has tried to discover whether Islam’s doctrine calling for violence against unbelievers may have been a motive for Fr. Malgesini’s murder because all three are deeply committed to the idea that there is no such doctrine, and that Islam is a religion of peace that has nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism.

To acknowledge that Mahmoudi Ridha was motivated by Qur’anic passages such as “kill them wherever you find them” (2:191, 4:89, cf. 9:5) and “when you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks” (47:4) is inconceivable to them. They either don’t know that such passages exist, or they are certain that no Muslims today take them seriously or would ever consider acting upon them. The only fallback position for those whose denial and willful ignorance is so implacable is to insist that Ridha is “mentally ill.”

The Vatican is especially invested in that kind of obfuscation. It recently announced that Pope Francis’ new encyclical, Fratelli tutti: sulla fraternità e l’amicizia sociale (“All Brothers: On Fraternity and Social Friendship”) will be issued on October 3. According to Church Militant, the encyclical is “a sequel to his controversial Abu Dhabi pact with Grand Imam Ahmad al-Tayyeb last year, and will cite Abu Mazen, a Palestinian backer of terrorism, as an example of ‘peace’ and ‘fraternity.’” No, this is not the Babylon Bee; this is real.

It gets even worse. According to Vatican News, “The theme of fraternity is also present in [the Pope’s] constant embrace of migrants, epitomized in his pastoral visit to Lampedusa. His signing of the Document on Human Fraternity in Abu Dhabi in 2019 marks one more example of Pope Francis’ dedication to promoting brotherly love.”

Yet Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) has made it abundantly clear over the years that he doesn’t want peace, but the total destruction of Israel as a Jewish state and the eradication of all Jews from the region. After two jihad groups, the Mourabitoun and the Mourabitat, began violent riots on the Temple Mount in September 2015, he applauded: “We bless you; we bless the Mourabitoun and the Mourabitat. We welcome every drop of blood spilled in Jerusalem. This is pure blood, clean blood, blood on its way to Allah. With the help of Allah, every shaheed (martyr) will be in heaven, and every wounded will get his reward. All of their steps, we will not allow them. All these divisions, Al-Aqsa is ours, and the (Church of the) Holy Sepulcher is ours, everything is ours, all ours. They (the Jews) have no right to desecrate them with their filthy feet and we won’t allow them to.”

Abbas envisions the total expulsion of Jews from a Palestinian state: “In a final resolution, we would not see the presence of a single Israeli – civilian or soldier – on our lands.”

And as for regarding all human beings as brothers, both Sunni and Shi’ite Islam teach that the lives of non-Muslims are not worth as much as the lives of Muslims. Reliance of the Traveller, a classic Sunni manual of Islamic sacred law, explains matter-of-factly that “the indemnity for the death or injury of a woman is one-half the indemnity paid for a man. The indemnity paid for a Jew or Christian is one-third the indemnity paid for a Muslim. The indemnity paid for a Zoroastrian is one-fifteenth that of a Muslim.” (o4.9) The Qur’an calls “the unbelievers among the People of the Book,” that is, Jews and Christians who do not accept Islam, “the most vile of created beings” (Qur’an 98:6).

Sultanhussein Tabandeh, the Shi’ite author of A Muslim Commentary on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, agrees, stating: “Since Islam regards non-Muslims as on a lower level of belief and conviction, if a Muslim kills a non-Muslim, then his punishment must not be the retaliatory death, since the faith and conviction he possesses is loftier than that of the man slain.”

But the Pope and the Catholic Church continue to ignore all of this. The coming encyclical, meanwhile, will mislead millions of Catholics into a complacency that could be fatal.

“Leave them; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14)

Ayn Rand was an atheist and so she refers to Him as “mythology”. It is a historical fact He existed and what He did. You don’t have to accept Him or follow Him. That is a choice!

What she didn’t understand and rejected is Christ giving up His life was predetermined. From the Christian view point, His death was a selfless, substitutionary, atonement for others and glorified God.

John 15:13
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

What made Christ different is He gave up His life for His enemies too.
Us mere mortals can not atone for others.

I am surprised Pope Francis hasn’t coveted to Islam to show his love of his Islamic allies. After all, when you’re a relativist like this Pope, what difference does it make?

Perhaps, Francis has joined the wrong religion and is more at home in Islam. Time for the Islamic loving Pope to come out of the closet.

Uh, the doctrine of ex-cathedra did not become Church dogma until the 19th century, well after St. Joan. By the way, even if it were in force in the 15th century, it would not invalidate my point. Not every utterance of the Pope is spoken ex-cathedra- in fact, it is exceedingly rare.

Finally, I do not believe a pope was involved in her execution. Kindly provide a reference for your interesting and imaginative version of history.

So, let me see, its 32,437 muslims who murder or attack in Europe are mentally ill, and zero who aren’t disturbed. Not one jihadi amongst them, not one muslim intent upon killing non-believers, and not one muslim amongst them who want too kill those who insult islam (ie: being a non-believer with a different opinion about islam than a muslim). OK, now I understand. Followers of islam are nuts.

Pope Francis, a socialist activist pope, is a wise man who can see through it all, willing to sacrifice (you) for his non-clerical views and knows how to easily not see what is plainly before him. What a man of vision – if he weren’t so blind, if not just plain stupid.

He reminds me of the sc-fi films where someone comes out of the crowd to greet the aliens. Aliens, must be peaceful, right? They are the first to die, Let this pope shed his security and go out on the street where muslims have set up their no-go zones. See how long he will last.

The communists, as exemplified by the slow, insidious erosion policies of, for example “The Frankfurt School and it’s 11 Recommendations”, have been working on penetrating every possible institution of the Western Democracies – governmental, religious and literally anything else to boot – since not long after the Russian Revolution of 1917. When you read the “11 Recommendations” and then look around you in pretty much any of the Western Democracies you realise that they are close to achieving by stealth that which they were unable to achieve by main force. And it would not suprise me in the least to find that the Pope was long ago recruited into their ranks. The most glaring example of their success are our education systems which have been pumping our children full of this marxist rubbish for several generations, so that now those children are busy as university professors pumping it into the next crop of graduates so they can go forth and busy themselves dIsmantling our countries even further. Great, ain’t it?
