The ruthless Democrats plan a full court press against the weak RINO’s, to block President Trump’s SCOTUS pick from being confirmed. Any Republican Senator that does not vote for Trump’s new SCOTUS pick should be primaried. In addition, if Trump’s SCOTUS pick is not confirmed the Republicans will almost certainly lose the Senate in November. That means President Trump will not be able to confirm one judge in the first two years of his second term.
.@GOP We were put in this position of power and importance to make decisions for the people who so proudly elected us, the most important of which has long been considered to be the selection of United States Supreme Court Justices. We have this obligation, without delay!

The 6 Republican senators who will decide the Supreme Court fight
By Politico, September 9, 2020
Story continues below advertisementRuth Bader Ginsburg’s death on Friday kicked off what is sure to be the most consequential Supreme Court confirmation fight in decades — and puts a spotlight on the handful of senators whose votes will determine the future of the court.
The universe of potential swing votes in the Senate is surprisingly small considering how high the stakes are. The following senators will be under enormous pressure — from Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and President Donald Trump — to either fall in line, or break from their party in the most dramatic fashion.
McConnell’s decision to hold a vote on Ginsburg’s replacement forces him to balance his long-standing desire to cement a conservative legacy in the federal judiciary, while also retaining his power as majority leader.
In the coming days, these senators will be forced to answer several important questions. Would you vote to confirm a Supreme Court nominee before the election? If a confirmation vote is held in the lame-duck period, would your decision hinge on whether the presidency and the Senate flip?
With 53 Republicans in the Senate, McConnell can afford to lose only three votes. Vice President Mike Pence could break a 50-50 tie if needed. Here’s who to watch:
The true swing votes
During Trump’s impeachment trial, these GOP senators — Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Mitt Romney of Utah — were among those deciding whether the trial would feature testimony from witnesses, as Democrats had been pushing.
This time around, the “Three Amigos” are equally as important, and they each find themselves with a slew of factors to consider.
Collins recently told The New York Times that she would not vote in favor of a Supreme Court justice in October — “I think that’s too close, I really do” — and would oppose seating a new justice in the lame-duck period if Joe Biden defeats Trump.

Biden Accused Of Hypocrisy After 2016 Comments In Favor Of Supreme Court Confirmation During Election Year

Biden, NYT, 2016:
“I made it absolutely clear I would go forward with a confirmation process as chairman, even a few months before a presidential election, if the nominee were chosen with the advice and not merely the consent of the Senate, just as the Constitution requires.”
LOL, double standards the kind Dem0rats go with, but only when they can’t embrace triple values.

President Trump hosts rally in N.C., pledges to pick a woman Supreme Court nominee

He can pick all day and that is all he can do. He must at least nominate someone because it is his duty. Then we will see how strong McConnell and and the Republican Senate are. We will see who the real RINOs and hypocrits are!
Ted Cruz says they have enough votes. And Barbara Lagoa would be hard to vote down, since the Senate just approved her last fall for the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals with a 80-15 majority. That means that many Dems voted for her:
“Lagoa spent more than a decade as a judge on an intermediate appeals court in Florida. Then she went to Florida’s Supreme Court, where she spent less than a year. Then she was nominated by Trump to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in September of 2019. She got a lot of bipartisan support in the Senate, and she was confirmed by in an 80-15 vote in November of 2019.”
Democrats do not vote for conservatives ever and especially when nominated by a conservative president that they hate and fought for three years to include continuous attempts to impeach!
Well a bunch of Democrats voted for Lagoa, because she is a woman and a Latina. They voted she was qualified. NOW they will have to vote that this same woman is NOT qualified. Of course the Dems can do that, but will be awkward.
70% of the electorate say they want someone appointed to SCOTUS asap.
I see only 3.
I guess Pam just had a Biden episode 🙂 lol
Keep Pamela Great
You to!
Maybe you should take the blinders off.
Please tell me who the other three are besides Collins, Murkowski, and Romney.
The faces of treason. Know their despicable names. Everyone a Janus.
Collins even looks like a Democrat Jezebel. Maybe she should just change her party…
My nickname for Collins is “Shaky” because of her palsy.
And that would help the right how!?
I am guessing that MAS thinks that at least she would be honest.
It would remove a Democrat mole…
I almost crapped all over myself yesterday when a discussion came up on this subject on Fox News yesterday and one of their talking heads referred to Romney as a “conservative”.
He’s about as much a conservative as I am the Pope.
FOX NEWS has become part of the problem! Even Pres. Trump told Lavine that just yesterday. I saw it some time ago. The real FOX News has always been anti-Trump! They are in Soros’ pocket and are only allowed to hint at truth!
Agreed. Fox News has more liberals on its payroll than all the others networks have conservatives combined.
Romney is what he needs to be for Mitt…!
At this juncture, with or without Romney (whom I think will come to confirm), the president’s selection for the Supreme Court is in the bag.
They are RINO’s not real Republicans and they work for the Cabal.
Who are the other 3?
Right?
Which ones will back stab their voters like McCain did in his last vote?
As Ginsburg once pointed out, the president is president until he isn’t, and can act as the president. An upcoming election does not change anything. Susan Collins of Maine an Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, to me, are acting as moral stone walls on a principal that doesn’t exist.
Mitt Romney of Utah has shown himself to be a fool, usually caught in the headlights and making himself even more of a fool. He doesn’t like Trump. When he needed Trump, he was all friendly, but the second Romney was re-elected the backstabbing knives came out. If it was a vote to save the country, and Trump was president, count on Romney to vote against the Republican position. I can’t see the people of Utah ever re-electing him, and the majority of the Republicans will shun him – if they haven’t already starting doing so.
