DNC Committee Omits ‘Under God’ From The Pledge Of Allegiance

A Democratic National Convention moderator omitted sacred words from the Pledge of Allegiance during a panel discussion Tuesday: “under God.”
During the Muslim Delegates Assembly, the video of the livestreamed event shows A.J. Durani led the pledge but left out an important part, saying, “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” Durani was elected to be a super delegate for the 2016-2020 term of the Democratic National Committee.
I guess the “Under God” part just isn’t important to Democrats.

The pledge has included the phrase “one nation under God” since Congress passed a law, signed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower, in 1954 to add it to the recitation. So, regardless of this 2020 panel’s objectives, the official pledge includes the religious phrase. “Under God” was added largely in response to the Cold War era’s threats of communism and the ideas of Marxist-Leninist countries. Ironically, many leaders of the Democratic Party are once again advocating Marxism through revisionist history and the Black Lives Matter organization.
Anyone who has watched the trajectory of the Democratic Party, now with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris at the helm, shouldn’t be surprised at the omission. After all, this presidential nominee pledged to go after nuns for refusing to violate their consciences in providing abortifacients. Catholic churches denied Biden Holy Communion for his aggressively pro-abortion policy positions, and he signaled support for using taxpayer dollars to fund abortions, directly contradicting the most basic of biblical principles.
Biden’s running mate is arguably leagues worse with regard to religious bigotry. Harris’s anti-Catholic posture led her to fight the confirmation of Judge Brian Buescher over his membership in the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal service order. As attorney general of California, Harris also launched an intrusive investigation into citizen journalist David Daleiden for taking undercover videos that exposed abortion giant Planned Parenthood for trafficking aborted baby body parts. Congress continues to do nothing about this appalling atrocity.
All this is also to say nothing of the Democratic Party’s increasing disdain for traditional religious teaching on marriage, the family, and church, to name a few.
As the convention progresses, we shouldn’t be surprised when Democratic Party and committee leaders take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance. They’re usually trying to take Him out of everything else.

Most conservative/republican’s work for a living . . . .
If a conservative doesn’t like guns, he doesn’t buy one.
If a liberal doesn’t like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.
If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn’t eat meat.
If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.
If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.
If a conservative doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Liberals demand that those they don’t like be shut down.
If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn’t go to church.
A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced. (Unless it’s a foreign religion, of course!)
If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.

A Conservative pretends they aren’t being scammed by big companies while said big companies shut competition down and make it so you don’t have a voice! Look up lootboxes and no I don’t play any of these modern games but it greatly disturbs me as things I grew up with have been bought out and spat out before I was old enough to have my own funds to support them.

A.J. Durani must be devoted to Islam’s Allah. So why would he publicly acknowledge the Judaeo-Christian God, whose Scriptures of light expose Islam’s books of darkness?
Fitting, that voice of a foreigner of hostile religion should speak for the Party of of the illegal alien, which mostly works against interests of U. S. citizens.
The Dem-autocratic Party, has always been shadowed by evil. But now is headlong-plunged into godless lawlessness, desperate for nascent tyranny. The only thing they worship is the Deep STATE and their radical IDEOLOGY: controlling power and repressing wealth.

Which god or gods are you talking about being without?
The word “god” spelled with all lower case letters means one of the gods of religions with multiple gods such as Hinduism.
And being “godless” or Godless, doesn’t result in lawlessness or loss of morality; it’s a sign that those who have discarded belief in a supoernatural being have come to their senses and regained their power of reason.
Christianity, like all of the major faiths, was born of ignorance and superstitution.

As I haven`t watched the dementocrat convention, to whom or what did these loons pledge allegiance? Unless the lord wishes to punish us, these leftist traitors will lose badly in November, and, if we`re lucky (and the dems haven`t completely corrupted the voting process), both houses of Congress will be red, which may finally give the Pres. the ability to really move his agenda forward.

Typical hypocrisy. It was during the administration of FDR, whom the commiecrats feel “sitteth at the right hand”, that “under God” was inserted into the Pledge and that “In God We Trust” was adopted as our national motto and placed on all coin and currency.

I am 110% against the DNC, the Democrats, the progressives, the liberals, the socialists, the Left, the Muslims, and all the other enemies of our country.
But I have to say that when the DNC removed the words, “under God” from our Pledge of Allegiance – and who knows what their motivation was for doing so – for once they did the right thing.
Our Pledge of Allegiance was composed in 1892 and served perfectly well for 62 years thereafter as it was originally written.
It wasn’t until 1954 that the words, “under God” were added as the result of relentless pressure from a great many religious organizations.
Adding “under God” to our Pledge of Allegiance pretty much destroyed its dignity, undermined its value and importance, and made it into nothing more than a sick joke.
Those responsible for adding “under God” might just as well have added, “under Zeus”, “under Apollo”, “under Allah”, “under the Tooth Fairy, or “under Mighty Mouse” as there is not, nor has there ever been, any proof or evidence to support a belief in ANY supernatural being or power.
Any sane, rational person of average intelligence who has ever read the Bible all the way through, carefully, and with intellectual honesty, would know what a horrible nightmare we would be living in if God did exist and we were “under” him (under his control).
The only thing that sustains religion is the indoctrination of children by their own parents when they are very young and at an age at which we human being are hard-wired to accept, without question or any serious, critical, objective examination, anything and everything our parents tell us; such amounts to nothing less than a most extreme form of child abuse.

I agree with you. This was not part of the original pledge and should not have been added. I am glad to know that I am not the only Conservative who wants to preserve the Pledge as it was originally written.

I don’t know if you’ve read the bible at all, but your understanding of it, as demonstrated here, is completely lacking; yet you feel you are qualified to render its condemnation.
Instead of looking into and answering the questions I put to you, you post garbage put out by men as equally as ignorant as you and think that it is actually intelligent.
The Bible stands alone from all the other so called ‘holy books’ in that it is a book of prophecies. Prophecies that have all come true, yet is ignored by the likes of the ignorant, like you. You put out this proud claim, “…as there is not, nor has there ever been, any proof or evidence to support a belief in ANY supernatural being or power”, so then Mr. wisdom, who gave these prophecies. You say that anyone reading the bible, “with intellectual honesty”, would be out of their mind to believe anything it says, so again, what intelligence penned the prophecies.
BTW, have you ever read 1Corinthians 1:19, in context?

I’ve seen Sam Harris take things out of context and twist the meaning thereof, and that’s what you’ve repeated here. This passes for intelligence in your book?
You claim there is no proof or evidence, yet when presented with that proof/evidence, you fantasize that it doesn’t exist. But, according to you, we’re the ones that have a mind for fairytails. When you’re ready to give something intelligent, I’ll be waiting, but I’m thinking you’re so steeped in the cesspool of foolishness that when challenged with something concrete, you have no answers, and that’s why you have never responded.
