Wisconsin state agency requires employees to wear masks while teleconferencing

Story continues below advertisementA Wisconsin state agency has required employees to wear masks while teleconferencing from home, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
A July 31 email sent to employees by the state’s Department of Natural Resources (DNR) reportedly reminded them that Gov. Tony Evers’s (D) mask mandate went into effect the next day.
Natural Resources Secretary Preston Cole said in the email that staff has to wear masks in DNR buildings and in virtual meetings, according to the Journal Sentinel.
“Also, wear your mask, even if you are home, to participate in a virtual meeting that involves being seen — such as on Zoom or another video-conferencing platform — by non-DNR staff,” Cole reportedly wrote. “Set the safety example which shows you as a DNR public service employee care about the safety and health of others.”
The governor’s mask order requires face coverings to be worn in indoor public spaces, and does not include residencies.
Health experts say people should wear masks in their homes if they are living with people who are susceptible to serious illness from the coronavirus. But otherwise, they say, there isn’t much need to.
DNR spokesperson Megan Sheridan told McClatchy that the department wanted its employees to set an example for others by displaying their masks.
“By wearing a mask while video conferencing with the general public, we visually remind folks that masking is an important part of navigating the business of natural resources during this tumultuous time,” Sheridan said.
She added that screenshots of virtual meetings could also be “taken out of context” and “could be misinterpreted to suggest that state employees are not properly following” the mandate.

It sounds like the loonies have really taken over the asylum on both sides of Atlantic! Similar daft measures have been enacted by ignorant officials in Britain, pressurising mostly healthy people to wear the ineffectual face bras/nappies/dog muzzles, I mean face masks! In most cases they are totally unnecessary, creating fear & paranoia, which is what the authorities really want & is part & parcel of their ‘masterplan’.

Masks do NOT protect you!
Not even the N95 because virus particles are so small they get through the mask.

Masks weaken you by causing,
hypercapnia (increased carbon dioxide)
hypoxia (decreased oxygen)
Symptoms of hypercapnia include dizziness, drowsiness, excessive fatigue, headaches, feeling disoriented, flushing of the skin and shortness of breath.
Symptoms of hypoxia include anxiety, restlessness, confusion, changes in the color of skin, cough, rapid breathing, shortness of breath and sweating.
In addition, hypoxia has been shown to lead to impaired immunity in general, and to be a forerunner to serious diseases such as,
atherosclerosis
stroke
heart attack
It could also help as a precondition for the development of cancer.
Dr. Russell Blaylock highlights how wearing a mask is actually putting you at more risk of infection, because you are lowering your overall health, strength and immunity by under-oxygenation:
“It is known that the N95 mask, if worn for hours, can reduce blood oxygenation as much as 20%, which can lead to a loss of consciousness, as happened to the hapless fellow driving around alone in his car wearing an N95 mask, causing him to pass out, and to crash his car and sustain injuries…
A more recent study involving 159 healthcare workers aged 21 to 35 years of age found that 81% developed headaches from wearing a face mask.
Some had pre-existing headaches that were precipitated by the masks.
All felt like the headaches affected their work performance.”
Blaylock also emphasizes how wearing masks is dangerous from a health perspective – it encourages the recycling (rather than the expulsion) of viruses and bacteria, some of which can enter the brain with potentially lethal consequences:
“It gets even more frightening.
Newer evidence suggests that in some cases the virus can enter the brain.
It is possible by wearing a mask, the exhaled viruses will not be able to escape and will concentrate in the nasal passages, enter the olfactory nerves and travel into the brain.”
Just like the unscientific social distancing rules (6 feet or something else depending upon where you live), masks are symbolic of this entire fake pandemic operation. Fauci knows that and why he called it “symbolic”.

training you to question whether you are following all the rules for every minute of your existence
training people to snitch on each other
training people to accept isolation
training people to fear each other

Felix I think the best thing to get this message across would be to post the disclaimer that comes with these masks. But it seems that no one is interested in doing that. I have been writing to The White House, to our governor, to our GOP big wigs for months and no one answers or pays any attention. Instead they are all wearing masks. It is really creepy and frightening just how easy it is to fool almost all the people all the time.

Yes Andrew you are correct but given that no one has publicized the disclaimers that comes with these masks what else are these people to believe. And it does not help that Trump is now wearing it and even FOX news is now posting commercials and encouraging people to wear this via that idiot Dr. Marc Siegal.

I suppose it is possible, but I can’t imagine if an employee is fired for not wearing a mask in their personal space, that a judge would not rule in their favor in a civil suit. I have seen people get big settlements from the Federal government, even when all the rules were followed. Wisconsin is looking at quite a few out of court settlements in their future, and it won’t be cheap.
I read the article, and the reasoning escapes logic. So what, if someone sees a picture of them in a video conference without a mask? The whole purpose of the video conference is to avoid close contact, eliminating the need for a mask.

What is the purpose of plexiglass at check out stands if both parties are wearing masks? It is all absurd and it seems that no one has bothered to read the disclaimer that comes with the mask. It clearly states that the mask does not interfere with the transmission of viruses and in particular it does not stop the transmission of covid 19. But yet these rules keep poping up and getting worse.

Who in the hell are these domineering control freaks? I have a hard time breathing in the very few places in which I temporarily wear a mask, and there is nothing wrong with my lungs. Many retail workers much younger than I have told me they really struggle to breathe. It isn’t just me. Extreme heat and humidity is making mask wearing worse.
I can’t help but wonder if there is another agenda in play that is about disassociating people from their identity and relating to the identity of others, as well as making everyone live in some dystopian fear world. This is all insane.

Yes! That was my first reaction to this insanity. I keep telling people I believe rebreathing my own respiratory waste combined with reduced oxygen is going to get me far sooner than Covid-19.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, we have been heavily “solar sprayed” for quite a few years now. That toxic dome of heavy metals and carcinogens helps hold in heat and humidity. This is financed and done by the same people who keep insisting the real problem is man made global warming; which they are creating so their lie can appear to be true. I was writing my representative in Congress about this 10 years ago. It is the only issue for which both my former and current Congressman have completely ignored my email. People act like I am nuts to believe I can or should try to do anything about this. Why! He who controls the weather also controls the food supply. America used to have far fewer sheeple than now.

Because they have been told that the virus is airborne – and they do not know what that means. They think it means that the virus is in the air everywhere and breathing the air anywhere will get you! Of course it does not occur to them that the air in their own houses is the same air except that it does not get exchanged as frequently and thus increases your risk of getting the bug. We all know that colds spread in Winter because people are in their houses more and rebreathing the same air but most people still think it is because cold air causes colds.

Yep, I’ve heard that The Wuhan virus can be carried and spread by electrical current through sound and picture, also that mental telepathic spread of criminal behavior is a huge problem. “He made me do it with his brain waves!” However, I’ve also read that tinfoil hats can stop it.
