Dr. Fauci: Wear goggles or eye shields to prevent spread of COVID-19; flu vaccine a must
The nation’s top infectious disease expert spoke to ABC News live on Instagram.

Dr. Anthony Fauci suggested Wednesday that Americans should consider wearing goggles or a face shield in order to prevent spreading or catching COVID-19.
“If you have goggles or an eye shield, you should use it,” the nation’s top infectious disease expert told ABC News Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Jennifer Ashton during an Instagram Live conversation on ABC News.
ADVERTISEMENTWhen asked if we’re going to get to a point where eye protection is recommended, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases responded, “It might, if you really want perfect protection of the mucosal surfaces.”
“You have mucosa in the nose, mucosa in the mouth, but you also have mucosa in the eye,” he continued. “Theoretically, you should protect all the mucosal surfaces. So if you have goggles or an eye shield you should use it.”
He noted that goggles and eye or face shields are “not universally recommended” at this time, “but if you really want to be complete, you should probably use it if you can.”
The novel coronavirus pandemic has killed more than 662,000 people worldwide so far and more than 16.8 million people across the world have been diagnosed with COVID-19, the disease caused by the new respiratory virus, according to data from the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.

Fauci watching Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana
Fauci called out four states by name that are struggling to get the virus in check. He and Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House’s coronavirus task force coordinator, addressed these states in a call with governors Tuesday.

ABC NewsOhio, Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana are among those that “are starting to show that very subtle increase in percent positives among the total tested, which is a surefire hint that you may be getting into the same sort of trouble with those states that the southern states got into trouble with. So we’re watching that really carefully.”
Birx has toured those states in the past week, meeting with officials in each state.

Fauci on testing window after exposure
Fauci also discussed when people should get tested for COVID-19 if they believe they’ve been exposed to the virus, since there are no official guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or the National Institutes of Health on when to get tested.
“That question came up at the task force meeting yesterday and we asked the same thing and we said there’s no real recommendation,” Fauci said. “I would think that five [days] is good. I might even go a day or so early because the incubation period of when you get symptoms is about five days.”
The window Fauci recommended is “no earlier than three [days] or no later than five or six.”

Fauci said he hopes wearing masks will help limit the spread of influenza as well.
“It is inevitable that we’re going to have some degree of flu,” he said. “I’m hoping that the wearing of masks and other coverings are going to not only protect us against COVID-19, but also help protect us against influenza.”

“Go out there and get your flu shot when the flu vaccine becomes available,” he urged.

An informative read. Thanks for posting it. It is truly amazing how it all came together and how it has exercised its subversion. I have read that the ‘vote’ was an act of deception perpetrated at the start of the Christmas break on the broken promise of delaying any further action until reconvening in the new year. The deceivers held back enough members to constitute a quorum and after the rest had left, they reopened government and took their ‘phony’ vote.
Wilson was supposedly duped by the group into signing it, only to later record his lamentation of what it portended for the future of his country.
I marvel at the planning and its near flawless level of application (I actually am not aware of any ‘failures’, unless one would consider the likes of Hilary not being elected as such. However, they have succeeded in circumventing Trump’s claim to fame – the economy).
In fact, I think it is too ‘perfect’ for just man’s hand. In spite of them being ‘intelligent’, I believe there is a metaphysical component behind their successes.
Their actions, and all of the consequences of those actions, have been behind all of the anti-foundational effects afflicting the West for decades. These ‘effects’ have brought massive changes to our societies at a time when biblical prophecies are unfolding in perfect harmony with the end goals of the organizers of this core cabal.
There is the ‘big picture’ of their conspiracies to form a one world government, and then there is the even ‘bigger picture’ of God’s plan to end this age of man. Both ‘pictures’ are running parallel to each other, and both will come to fruition shortly. The big difference is that the one will only last for the blink of an eye.

That all this business about forcing people to wear masks and cower in fear in their homes, not to mention crashing the economy and putting everybody out of work and all that, is all directed by and on orders from One World globalist elite forces, is underscored by a recent report that the IMF offered an “emergency” loan of $500-900 million to Belarus ON THE CONDITION that they shut down their economy and declare martial law to place their populace under house arrest to ostensibly combat the Chinese Wuhan virus. The IMF is part and parcel of One World government that is accountable to no-one. And Fauci’s all in on that.

The disclaimers on those face masks should be widely publicized. They specifically state that these masks do not stop or impede the transmission of ANY virus and then go on to specifically name covid 19. (This is separate from all the studies from the medical literature concluding the same thing.)
I have sent copies of the disclaimer to The White House and to Jim Jordan and to everyone else that I can think of in our state. But of course no one has replied – and no one, to date, has asked Fauci why he is advising use of a product that the manufacturer states does not do what Fauci claims it will do.

Amazingly a Democrat asked a very good question of Fauci and, as per usual, Fauci pontifically obfuscated and gave a poor and incomplete answer. (I don’t have the whole video of this encounter.) The “rapid” test is different from the PCR test (although Fauci referred to “extraction of DNA” he goofed and meant “extraction of RNA” since the Coronavirus is an RNA virus.) And so, therefore, … CAN the RAPID test be used to screen at least kids for schools, employees at their work places? It would have to be done daily…but this test is much cheaper and quicker than the ultra-sensitive PCR testing of fragments of RNA. Can people even do it at home on their own?
The White House does a rapid test to screen and that’s how Rep. Gohmert was detected.

I’m not sure Fauci is political. I think he’s trying to stay out of it which cause the awkward moment where he tried to avoid speaking about protests. He doesn’t want to support or oppose protests. His job is to give medical advice. His job is to say keep 6 feet away from each other, wear a mask and wear eye protection. That’s it.
