By CBS Chicago, July 17, 2020

CHICAGO (CBS) — A group of protesters and Chicago police officers squared off at Chicago’s Grant Park Friday night.

A large group of protesters at a rally to defund the police was seen attempting to tear down the Columbus statue in the park.

Police were seen taking at least one man away from the scene in handcuffs.

Around 8:15 p.m. police had pushed demonstrators back from the statue, leaving a clear line between the statue, police and demonstrators.

Protesters don’t do things, like vandalism. Rioters will destroy everything they can and they should be shot on the spot. Its really unfortunate our police in this country are cuked by left wing laws that have crept on to the books over the years.

Consider the cartel controlled areas like….detroit, camden nj or eastside st. louis. You couldnt pay me to live in USA. My property tax here is 45 bucks a year. What is it in USA? 4k?

If you are happy living in Mexico, I am happy for you. We don’t mind paying more than $45.00 a year in taxes to not live in Mexico and we live in high tax NJ and believe it or not, we are allot safer than any area in Mexico.

We pay allot more than 4K…LOL! That might be the rate for a small vacant, totally trashed, ghetto rowhouse in Newark. They tax an owner on a vacant house too. Anyway, our police are very good where we live in NJ. It’s a more conservative area – one of the few. What would pass as crime here is someone getting a speeding ticket and we are cartel free. You couldn’t pay us to give that up to live in Mexico!

Since you are so happy there, spread the word and get others to go back to Mexico!!!!
If you are happy there, I’m happy for you.

Heck yeah I am. Why live in NJ? There are many other states with far less taxes to pay.

That is the plan – move to another state after the last one finishes up school in 2021.

My home in Mexico has 8 bedrooms. I have no idea why people stay in the U.S. 2 million americans have made the trek here. SUCH a cheaper cost of living.

I know a couple. He is originally from Colombia, but worked in the U.S. for over forty years. If you toss in his time in college, a bit over forty-five years. She is from Texas. Pretty little lady, well educated and hard working. They never set aside much money, having four children (one boy, three girls). So, about all that they had was their social security.

I cannot pinpoint the area, in Mexico, to which they moved. However, they live in a gated community, mainly U.S. expats. Gated community with ponds, fountains, hiking and biking trails …. and, I believe that their rent is under $800.00 per month.

The cost of an evening out runs about thirty dollars, American. Good food and decent wine.

Their children keep asking them to move back, but they tell them that they simply cannot afford to. A physician’s visit, to an English speaking doctor is around five bucks. Recently, she told me about Edgar’s trip to the dentist. Cleaning and one filling …. UNDER twenty bucks.

And, guess what? During these recent race riots, NO one crashed down the gate. NO one threatened the gate guards. No one walked by squealing “No Justice. No peace. No burning and looting.

Except, U.S. citizens can’t own guns living in Mexico?

Total of one handgun and nine long guns, per household. .38 Special is as high as one can go, even the itty-bitty little 9mms are TOO BIG.

One cannot possess a firearm at their business, unless that business is also their residence.

Every firearm must be registered and they’re restricted to your residence, except for transportation to a registered gun/shooting club.

Obviously, the cartels follow those laws to the “T”.

Safety and civility are still in pockets in this country.

Plus in Mexico it is practically ILLEGAL to own a gun. You may live in a gated community but you are at risk. You are easily surrounded and taken over. If you are white, you are a minority and will stick out like a sore thumb. If you are Hispanic, you have more than others and still a target. Saving money and living in a big house, isn’t everything. Mexico has never been known as a civilized country and still isn’t.

A word to the wise –
BE SAFE and AWARE!

One of my bloody rentals is around twelve-five. Eight years ago, it was under five. You cannot raise rent, that much, to make up the difference.

Remember, “It’s For the Children”.

When you hit your pension, time to move out.

I am not familiar with ANY pension that pays less if you move.

felix1999
felix1999

I probably shouldn’t have disclosed that… so I deleted it.

The reason people move out of the northeast and go down south or somewhere else is because you are paid better, etc. and this reflects the higher cost of living etc. so moving to a cheaper state benefits you financially because the cost of living is lower. The pension amount doesn’t change but it goes further and you live better in a lower cost of living state. Many go to Florida because there is no state income tax… Some states make up for it in a sales tax. It varies.

The funny thing is when you are older, you don’t need much. In fact we are getting rid of things and distributing stuff to our kids for less to move. It’s humorous, you work like a dog to accumulate stuff and then as you get older, we find we are getting rid of it. In fact I have a baby grand piano. I rarely play I was not concert quality but I was okay. My last one wants it so she will get that when we move.

The cost of living and taxes are things we will be looking at closely and that is what other people do when they leave NJ, NY etc to retire in their final home. Houses are more expensive here if you want to live in a decent safe area whereas in a lower cost of living state, you get more for your money when you cash in and the value of you house has increased. Where we live, people are willing to pay a premium to be safe. There will always be someone that has to be in NJ for business reasons etc. and won’t want to live in some shiithole like Edison etc.. Hopefully things will work out.

While we are discussing here, yet another cathedral is burning down in France. In Nantes, in France, the cathedral is burning down. Why do we never hear something about the perpetrators? The cathedral “Notre Dame” in Paris burned down last spring. Did any of you hear something about the perpetrators? The fact that we never hear something about the arsonists is in itself fishy.

Defund the police? What will that achieve? Make life easier for criminals is all it will do as there will be fewer resources to pursue them. I think the Dems are shooting themselves in the foot here as people are taking note of their anti democracy and support of chaos on the streets

About time!

A quick way to get the mob to leave Columbus alone is to tell them he was a proud Democrat. They would be too stupid to figure that one out.

The Chicago cops must arrest the mayor and her council and take over the city. Who will stop them? Radical timesneed radical solutions. The first and only purpose of government is to protect the people. The mayor and council have not only failed they are encouraging and inciting the looting, destruction of the city.
