Whitmer signs order requiring Michigan businesses to refuse entry to people not wearing masks

Deceiving the public.

The debate on the effectiveness of masks continues to rage.

Story continues below advertisement

The Nazis used medical arguments to impose their totalitarian restrictions as well.  The exact same rhetoric was used by the Third Reich, but for tuberculosis instead of COVID-19.

Marxist and radical tyrants. That is who leads today’s Democrat Party. How could any rational American vote for this horror to go national in November?

Whitmer signs order requiring Michigan businesses to refuse entry to people not wearing masks

By Washington Examiner, July 10, 2020

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signed an executive order mandating residents to wear masks in indoor public spaces and requiring businesses to deny service to those who don’t comply.

“The heroes on the front lines of this crisis have gone hours without taking their masks off every day — doctors, nurses, child care workers, grocery store workers. We owe it to them to wear our masks when we’re on a trip to the grocery store or pharmacy,” Whitmer said in a statement.

The new order also allows for up to a $500 fine for those who don’t abide by the mandate. Those who suffer medical conditions rendering them unable to wear masks are exempt, as are children under the age of 5.

Whitmer claimed that wearing masks can reduce the chance to spread COVID-19 by up to 70%, a sentiment that is shared by Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, Michigan’s chief medical executive.

“Wearing a mask or face covering can significantly decrease the chance of spreading COVID-19 and save lives,” Khaldun said, according to WMTV. “It’s important that all Michiganders wear masks properly — not down around the neck, not only over the mouth, but correctly over the mouth and nose. Please, everyone stay patient and remain vigilant.”

Cases of the coronavirus are spiking in places across the country. Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, hinted on Thursday that states with major coronavirus outbreaks might need to consider shutting back down. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said Thursday that a new stay-at-home order might be issued if the number of infections continues to increase.

Whitmer, a Democrat, was criticized by opponents early on in the pandemic when she instituted an expanded executive order that barred people from visiting other residences and banned the sale of certain nonessential goods.

In NJ it is mandatory even outside. We ignore that and no one bothers us. The local police don’t wear them either unless the situation calls for it. . The only business we wear wear a mask is at the food store. We are in that high risk group and you are required to wear it there – or no food!.

Cloth masks are useless and it is also unhealthy to breathe in what you exhaled. Plain cloth masks are full of germs unless you can wash them and still they are worthless.

If you are going to wear a mask, get the N95 if you can or the KN95 ($3.99) that is similar to the medical grade N95. You can also get a KN95 mask that is washable and reuseable for $22.95 each but you have to get replacement carbon filters after you use it a few times.

The problem is, is that I literally cannot breath with anything covering my face. I tried to be neighborly, but wound up in tears. If you remember what a muscle burn from exercise feels like, then you know what I was feeling in my chest and diaphragm, while wearing a mask.

I feel sorry for people that have to wear them all day. A common complaint is headaches.

I can understand that and why we upgraded to a better mask that allows breathing outside air. I hate wearing a mask and only use one for food shopping and I go late at night or early in the morning to be in and out quickly. Some people pull them down to breathe properly. I sneak that in too.

I’m allergic to the disinfectant the grocery stores are using. The mask only seems to aggravate my condition and I have to remove it to wipe my weepy eyes and blow my nose every few minutes. I, like you, go as soon as the store is open and never tarry plus I take a grocery cart from the outside because it hasn’t been sprayed with the disinfectant.

I have news for you – an N-95 only stops 95% of the particles that are larger than the pores of the mask …… the pores in the mask are 0.7 microns in size – the virus is 0.1 microns in size – that means that the holes in the mask are 33x larger than the virus, itself.
The mask only stops 95% of those viruses.
Now, the really bad part ……. wearing an N-95 mask will concentrate the CO2 in your breath, raising the partial pressure CO2 and reducing the partial pressure O2 to about 70%, your braincells start dying at about 85%.
Good Luck.

Amen. I would think, that a mask that had pores small enough to keep out the virus and other viruses would be so dense you would suffocate.

If these totalitarian governors were actually serious about this … They would mandate that KN-95 masks, at a minimum, were to be worn. These cloth masks are worse than wearing NOTHING.

Well, almost nothing … they’re very good for virtue signaling.

Actually, masks are an emblem of slavery, a sign of submission, a mark of inferiority and second-class status, and a surrender to tyranny. (Plus, whenever you hear “Don” Andrew Cuomo and others yapping about ‘respect’, that is a code word for blind, unquestioned obedience to the collective.) That these governors are forcing this down even businesses’ throats, is setting up those who don’t wear masks to be the new Jews of 1930’s Germany and the new Blacks of Jim Crow-era Deep South – subject to constant discrimination, subjugation, persecution and oppression, and a target of hate (as we are seeing with non-mask wearers now being murdered by deranged individuals). Besides the matter of “blind obedience” which came to light at the Nuremberg trials. If the Greek historian Herodotus had come back to life and wandered about a random city or town where the sheeple wear these manifestations of modern-day subservience, bondage and indentured servitude, he would have recognized the likes of Whitmer or Cuomo or Polis or Murphy as reincarnations of Xerxes, the king of Persia who sought to crush the Greek city-states and make them slaves to his regime. He (that is, Herodotus) would have also seen masks the same way as we do. And as I keep saying, if G-d had meant for us to wear a mask at all times, He would never have even bothered to put a face on our heads, so much an abomination these totalitarian edicts are.

When will there be a class-action lawsuit to put an end to this new enslavement?

And finally, that non-mask wearers are now subject to a campaign of total hate from celebrities like Eminem, makes one wonder if, had they been around in Germany in the 1930’s, they would have picked on any Jew in that country who didn’t wear a yellow Star of David in public.

The store owners are refusing entry to potential customers by claiming that they reserve the right to refuse service! You don’t need the police if the owners stand at the door and refuse to let you buy food – unless maybe you have a gun and shoot them as was recently done in Flint.

The problem here is the ASSUMPTION that ALL people have CV19 and that ALL people are spreading disease simply by breathing. The problem however is that ALL people do NOT have this and it is NOT spread by breathing the air. In order to propel droplets you need to cough. People who are well are not a risk to anyone!

Furthermore Whitmer has created an exception for all those who “medically cannot tolerate a mask.” But there is no government sanctioned sign to give those people to let store owners know that they are exempt. And store owners are all simply denying entry to everyone from grocery stores with the excuse that “this is a private store and we retain the right to deny entry to anyone we choose for whatever reason and we don’t want YOU in our store.” I thought that the right to refuse service was declared illegal with Civil Rights Legislation?

Not only did the Nazis use TB as an excuse to round up Jews a little known fact is that the entire Concentration/Death Camps were placed in control of doctors and entirely run by doctors. The camps were part of the Nazi Public Health Program and the killing was supposedly being done to protect them from dying of the disease while also protect the non Jews from contracting diseases, mainly typhus, the disease that killed Ann Frank.

If you are interested in the medical profession running the Nazi Concentration Camps you should read “The Nazi Doctors” by Jay Lifton. I am a doctor and literally cried when I read this account,

In this book the author interviews camp survivors who testify that “They were all doctors.” He also interviews 7 or 8 surviving Nazi doctors to probe the rationalizations that they used to go from taking an oath to preserve life to actively ending life. One thing that really stuck me was that none of them were forced to do this. Any doctor who objected has the right to NOT participate in this genocide – but few took the option. That is what I found so upsetting. They were not taking orders. They did what they did out of conviction!

It was hailed some years ago as being one of the best books in the English language.

N95 masks filter out 20—90 micron sized particulates. Covid-19 is 0.1, that’s less than 1%. A good analogy would be to justify keeping mosquitos out of your yard by putting up a chain link fence.

Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)…masks are a no-no for those of us that are hard of hearing and need to also read lips/expressions to “hear” what people are saying! I always have to ask people to lower their masks to understand what they are saying and reading lips is supplemental to hearing sounds!

I live in Michigan and cannot STAND Gretchen Witless. The differences and changes in the “rules” and mandates from March to now, (and, from state to state) prove to me that they are just making it up as they go along.
Before Easter, someone in my “circle” went to a dollar store. She could buy Easter candy, because that was food, but, she could not buy a BOOK. Not essential.
My husband and I are seniors, and, from the beginning, wore masks for our own protection. When people saw us, they freaked out, and assumed we were wearing a mask because we were already sick. Everywhere we went, we had to assure everyone that we were not sick. Black masks make me think we are now all Sharia comliant.
