Fascism: Facebook New Policy Annihilates Citizen Journalism, Indie Websites In Favor, ENEMEDIA Big Winners

Does Facebook not understand that they are who they are, became what they are, because of the freedom of the individual? It was because we could freely share without censorship or control that all of us gravitated to Facebook in the early 2000s. This is a betrayal of every Facebook user — because of a handful of cowardly, craven corporations.

Facebook updates how it prioritizes news on users’ timelines
AI to be used to promote original reporting

By Audrey Conklin, FOX Business, July 1, 2020:

FOX Business’ Susan Li says the Clorox Company, along with other companies, are pausing advertisements on Facebook in an effort to target the social media platform for reported hate speech.

Facebook is changing the way it prioritizes news stories in users’ News Feeds, a company spokesperson confirmed to FOX Business Tuesday.

The move comes as the tech giant faces scrutiny for not taking enough action against users who incite hate and violence on the platform and for not amplifying high-quality, original reporting.

“When we ask people what kind of news they want to see on Facebook, they continually tell us they want news stories that are credible and informative. Today, we’re updating the way news stories are ranked in News Feed to prioritize original reporting and stories with transparent authorship,” Facebook Vice President of Global News Campbell Brown and Product Manager Jon Levin said in a Tuesday blog post.

The social media platform plans to address this goal in two ways: by promoting more original reporting and demoting reporting that lacks transparency, the company said.

FACEBOOK RAKES IN POLITICAL AD MONEY WHILE COMPANIES FLOCK TO BOYCOTT

Facebook will use artificial intelligence technology to identify and promote original reporting by identifying, which outlets are cited most often as the original source of a story. Additionally, the company aims to demote stories that come from outlets that do not include accessible information about the publisher’s editorial staff.

“We’ve found that publishers who do not include this information often lack credibility to readers and produce content with click-bait or ad farms; all content that people tell us they don’t want to see on Facebook,” a spokesperson told FOX Business.

While the new effort will likely not create a dramatic change in users’ News Feeds because they will continue to see stories shared by their friends — although original reporting will be highlighted — it does signify a greater effort on Facebook’s part to deliver higher-quality content to users who depend on the platform for news.

People on different sides of the political spectrum have criticized Facebook for its content moderation policies, which have changed in recent weeks.

Left-leaning users argue that the company promotes alt-right voices and hate speech, which has led dozens of large companies to pull advertisements from the platform and its subsidiary, Instagram, at the request of civil rights groups leading the #StopHate4Profit campaign.

Right-leaning users argue that the platform’s algorithms stifle conservative voices. Non-profit investigative journalism organization Project Veritas recently revealed instances of Facebook employee bias in a series of recent reports and videos called “Expose Facebook.”

On average, one-in-five U.S. adults often get their news from social media, according to a 2018 survey conducted by the nonprofit Pew Research Center. Sixty-seven percent of U.S. adults get at least some of their news from social media, a 2017 Pew Research report shows; 67 percent say that news comes from Facebook.

anybody who still uses FB is an idiot. Social media is a trap for the greedy and the lonely. And the masses fall for it: hook. line, and sinker. And Trump’s use of Twitter is like a kid with a joystick.
The elites watching everything.

The government had a plan called “Life Log” which was intended to gather all of the details of our lives. On the same day that was cancelled, Facebook was launched. It’s great. Instead of the feds having to spy on Americans, they just pour out massive amounts of information to those same agencies.

Get off Facebook.
Does anyone really NEED hundreds of “friends” who you don’t actually know in person?
Is there any info you’re broadcasting that could hurt you if it was in the wrong hands?
Do people really give a crap about the minutiae of your life? (My own mother doesn’t even care about most of that stuff. Yours probably doesn’t either.)
Think about who has access to all that data. Not just what you post, but the tracking they do. Who has the data? What could they use it for?
Is Facebook against conservatives? Then why use it?
Is the convenience of sharing personal news with family and strangers alike really worth the risks?

No, facebook is a handy tool to stay connected. We need to have a new company emerge that ensures freedom and privacy.

If Biden gets in, all this leftist censorship will become ingrained and entrenched and enshrined, and any attempt to rein these tech companies will be squelched forever. You think it’s bad enough as it is now? If Democrats take control of everything, it will be much, much worse.

Biden announced today that on wining the elections he intends to get rid of Trumps tax breaks and raise taxes…that must be to get votes.

People should be very afraid about that. This is proof that voting Democrat is a vote against America and against prosperity and jobs. Biden would indeed do so, and that should frighten anybody concerned about our economic climate and security.

Actually 10% of taxpayers pay 90 % of taxes and with tax credits and benefits, quite a few people receive more than they pay in and quite a few corporations are on corporate welfare, so likely Biden will be gaining votes by making this campaign promise because most people love it when their neighbor is paying more and they’re paying less.

The Corporations backing Face Book censorship are not cowardly and craven they are Bold Criminal Fascists using extortion to obtain their desires to change American without being elected to make such change – It’s all about silencing coverage of President Trumps benefit to America.

I seldom become enraged but this morning was an exception. I opened my PayPal account and discovered their announcement they have committed nearly 600 Million of shareholder funds to organizations “empowering blacks and fighting racism.” I’m not just a customer but also a shareholder. Why did they do it? I can assure you it was not because blacks or anyone else matters to them. The only thing that matters is the bottom line which is the only reason I hold the stock. Then, why did they unilaterally decide to hand over shareholder money to these organizations which I am sure to include BLM and ANTIFA and all of their fellow travelers and Bolshevik revolutionaries? They did it because they and hundreds of other corporations are being intimidated and extorted by the Bolsheviks hiding behind the national race-baiting we are being subjected to. The BLM and ANTIFA terrorist are the armed militia of the Commiecrats and they are extorting billions from public corporations across the nation and globe. It is time for shareholder derivative lawsuits to stop this looting of shareholder wealth. Many of these corporations have underfunded pensions and other liabilities to which these funds should be applied. Instead, they are being paid out to avoid having business looters and burned and employees harassed and murdered. We have a giant mafia-type organization engaging every facet of our country and we need to crack down on it. We need a General Pinochet to round them up and annihilate them before they kill us, our country and our civilization.

Freedom of Speech, is Ironically, the Rule we Teach our Children

..AND
“your personal liberty to swing your arm ends where my nose begins”
Where FB comes along and says,’I,m smarter than All of you’,~ I’ll choose~
Corporate Bullyism comes along, and says,I’m the Boss, your Just a successful Hitman.
A Pregnant Pause occurs…… and what is Happening,…Is a Typical war between’
TWO Fascist Powers Vying for #1, using US as Turf for Traction.
Screw them, They need to be Reminded Time after time, that in THIS war,

So….what do we call this Corporate black mail? It is like the banks sticking it to gun manufacturers. Why would Clorox care about anything except selling bleach and other products? I am sick of fakebook. I am just preaching to the choir anyway.
