Corrupt auto workers union betrays its members by endorsing Biden in presidential race

16

Shame on these political hacks. Under the Obama/Biden administration the American auto industry was decimated, most especially in Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Factories were being closed and jobs were being lost (here, here, here, here, here) to China. President Trump revitalized the auto industry in the United States (here, here, here, here) by reversing the Obama/Biden administrations policies of appeasement of China. Yet the corrupt leaders of the UAW chose to endorse the presidential candidate who will lead to the demise of the auto workers that they represent. Fortunately this shameful endorsement wont make a difference. President Trump will obtain significant support from America’s auto workers, as he did in 2016 despite the UAW endorsing Hillary Clinton. #Trump2020!

Auto workers union backs Biden in presidential race

By Fox News, April 22, 2020

Story continues below advertisement

The United Auto Workers – one of the nation’s largest and influential unions – on Tuesday endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden’s White House bid.

In backing the presumptive Democratic presidential nomineeUAW President Rory Gamble said Tuesday that “in these dangerous and difficult times, the country needs a president who will demonstrate clear, stable leadership, less partisan acrimony and more balance to the rights and protections of working Americans.”

The union represents roughly 400,000 workers nationwide but has an outsized influence in the crucial general election battleground state of Michigan – as it represents some 150,000 workers with Detroit’s three major automakers. The UAW also represents factory workers in other industries as well as nurses, casino workers, and university graduate assistants.

The UAW’s backing is the latest for Biden by a major organized labor group. The presumptive Democratic nominee’s long touted his working-class roots in Pennsylvania and his decades of support for the unions. Biden’s also highlighted the 2009 auto bailouts that saved General Motors and Chrysler from slipping into bankruptcy and that he championed as vice president in the Obama administration.

The UAW usually backs Democrats in presidential elections – including Hillary Clinton in 2016. But its workers don’t always vote as a monolithic bloc and plenty of the rank and file voted for Donald Trump four years ago. Trump narrowly flipped Michigan as well as Pennsylvania and Wisconsin – two other states with a smaller percentage of UAW members – from blue to red in 2016, helping him win the White House.

The president’s continued to court auto workers since his 2016 election.

The union’s currently negotiating with General Motors, Ford, and Fiat Chrysler to restart factories shut during the past month due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“This issue demonstrates the need for presidential leadership to follow the guidance of science and give workers a seat in discussions over their safety and well-being,” the union’s statement said.

Because to vote for Biden would literally be voting against America’s best interests. And then some.

One morning a local highway department crew reaches their job-site and realizes they have forgotten all their shovels. The crew’s foreman radios the office and tells his supervisor the situation. The supervisor radios back and says, “Don’t worry, we’ll send some shovels…just lean on each other until they arrive.

Most of these major unions have become a disgrace. They went from protecting workers and their rights to complete sell outs. Once unions demanded such high pay Japanese and Korean automakers moved in and crushed the competition.
The unions would back Hitler if he offered high wages and all the perks they wanted.

And to think George Meany who once ran the AFL-CIO stood up for Soviet dissidents imprisoned behind the Iron Curtain, i.e. Andrei Sakharov. We went from that to today’s corrupt bosses.

The supervisor for the Union Of Road Construction Workers called

the meeting to order. ”Men — we’ve agreed on a new deal with the state.

We’ll no longer have to work FOUR days a week!”

”HOOORAY!!!” the crowd cheered.

”We’ll quit work at 4 PM and not 5 PM!”

”HOORAY!!!” the crowd roared.

”We don’t have to be in until 11 AM instead of 10 AM!”

”HOORAY!!!” the crowd thundered.

”And now, even though 99% of the roads in the country are blocked by

traffic cones, we’ll only have to work on Wednesdays!!”

Silence.

A voice from the back of the room asks, “You mean, EVERY Wednesday?”

Trevor Louden has many video’s and a book out documenting the take over of the union’s leadership by known communists. Their FB pages are full of comments from angry rank and file. This could be enough for a speedy exit of commies from leadership positions.

Unions are parasites that take control of the host.

And to think the AFL-CIO was once run by a man, George Meany, who stood up for human rights of Soviet dissidents. His descendants in terms of union leadership, alas, are more in league with those who oppressed such dissidents.

The Americans With No Abilities Act (ANAA)

The Senate is considering a sweeping legislative Bill

sponsored by the Democratic Party that will provide

new benefits for many more Americans. The

Americans With No Abilities Act is being hailed as a

major legislative goal by advocates of the millions of

Americans who lack any real skills and ambition.

“Roughly 50 percent of Americans do not possess

the competence and drive necessary to carve out a

meaningful role for themselves in society,” said

California Sen. Kamala Harris. “We can no longer

stand by and allow People of Inability (POI) to be

ridiculed and passed over. With this legislation,

employers will no longer be able to grant special

favors to a small group of workers, simply because

they have some idea of what they are doing.”

In a Capitol Hill press conference Nancy Pelosi

pointed to the success of the U.S. Postal Service,

which has a long-standing policy of providing

opportunity without regard to performance. At the

state government level, the Department of Motor

Vehicles also has an excellent record of hiring

Persons with No Ability (63%).

Under the Americans With No Abilities Act, more than

25 million mid-level positions will be created, with

important-sounding titles but little real responsibility,

thus providing an illusory sense of purpose and

performance.

Mandatory non-performance-based raises and

promotions will be given to guarantee upward

mobility for even the most unremarkable employees.

The legislation provides substantial tax breaks to

corporations that promote a significant number of

Persons of Inability (POI) into middle-management

positions, and give a tax credit to small and medium sized

businesses that agree to hire one clueless

worker for every two talented hires.

Finally, the Americans With No Abilities Act contains

tough new measures to make it more difficult to

discriminate against the non-abled, banning, for

example, discriminatory hiring interview questions

such as, “Do you have any skills or experience that

relate to this job?”

“As a non-abled person, I can’t be expected to keep

up with people who have something going for them,”

said Mary Lou Gertz, who lost her position as a lugnut

twister at the GM plant in Flint, Mich., due to

her inability to remember “righty tighty, lefty

loosey”. “This new law should be real good for

people like me. I’ll finally have job security.” With

the passage of this bill, Gertz and millions of other

untalented citizens will finally see a light at the end

of the tunnel.

Said Sen. Dick Durbin (Illinois): “As a senator with

no abilities, I believe the same privileges that

elected officials enjoy ought to be extended to

every American with no abilities. It is our duty as

lawmakers to provide each and every American

citizen, regardless of his or her inadequacy, with

some sort of space to take up in this great nation

and a good salary for doing so.”

Every election cycle, the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), endorses some boob, from the left.
When I was still working (I’m retired now), my local was comprised of conservatives, and one confirmed democrat. Yet, we were NEVER asked our opinion of the democratic candidate. I wrote several scathing letters, to the idiots running the union, but never got a response.
In the beginning, unions did improve workers benefits, but they have long outlived their usefulness, and become corrupt, legalized theft rings, through union dues.
