Alan Dershowitz: George Soros Asked Barack Obama to Investigate Undisclosed Person
Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz told Breitbart News Sunday this weekend that billionaire left-wing financier George Soros told then-President Barack Obama to investigate someone.

Story continues below advertisementDershowitz would not identify who, precisely, the target of the investigation was, but said that the name would soon emerge in in a lawsuit that had yet to be filed.
The revelation was so startling that this host had to double-check:
Q: But let me just ask you — you said that George Soros asked Barack Obama to have his Justice Department investigate somebody?
Dershowitz: We’re — that’s going to come out in a lawsuit in the near future. Yeah
Q: Wow, well, we look forward to hearing more about that new.
Dershowitz: That’s not unusual. That is not unusual. People whisper to presidents all the time. Presidents whisper to [the] Justice Department all the time. It’s very common. It’s wrong, whoever does it, but it’s common, and we shouldn’t think that it’s unique to any particular president. I have in my possession the actual 302 form [an FBI record of an interview], which documents this issue, and it will, at the right time, come out. But I’m not free to disclose it now because it’s a case that’s not yet been filed.
In addition, Dershowitz reflected on his experience in the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump, noting that his argument had been grotesquely distorted by CNN — so much so that he could, if he wanted to, sue the network.
CNN — and House impeachment managers — claimed Dershowitz said that the president can do whatever he wants to do, as long as he claims to have believed he was acting in the public interest. Dershowitz had specifically said that criminal-like behavior was indeed impeachable.
Dershowitz also said that former Trump associate Roger Stone deserved a new trial, given new revelations about the extreme political bias of the jury foreperson, who opposed both Trump and Stone.
Moreover, Dershowitz said that if Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) won the Democratic presidential nomination, it might force him to leave the Democratic Party and campaign against him nationwide.

Dershowitz is and has been a staunch and highly vocal defender of the State of Israel and critic of many anti-semites. His political affiliation is irrelevant.

He isn’t Trump’s attorney and he wasn’t paid to present his opinion to the Senate. He was brought in to argue what the grounds for impeachment are and should be based upon legal precedent. If the Democrats had brought a strong case to the Senate with clear evidence of criminal behavior, its doubtful Dershowitz would have agreed to participate.

He defended Clinton when he was being impeached. so at least he’s consistent.
He also defended Judge Kavanaugh publicly and in an article he wrote. and also defended the President’s right to issue travel bans based on security reasons.
That’s what the old ACLU use to be. focused on the Constitution and liberty.
However, the ACLU today isn’t interested in Civil Liberties, it’s interested in Wokeness and SJW politics, Defending radical Islam, recognizing CAIR as legitimate. ACLU today is trash.

He’s like HYDRA…..his dirty money is all over the planet….including our own political system. I recall in the last election that he donated to Paula Puke Ryan and Marco Ooobiooo…….I’m sure there are lots of others.
He has a dual citizenship with Hungary and America…..I think it’s time to send him back to Hungary….however, they don’t want him either…Orban shut down all of his NGOs there.
He is banned from at least 4 countries ….the UK for short selling their currency and crashing the bank of England..Russia, the Philippines , and I forget the last one.
I once got a list of all the companies in America he either owns or has the controlling stock….the list was longer than my arm….included HP, ammunition companies, and voting machine companies…..It was so vast and all encompassing that it took my breath away.

Dershowitz used to be a dedicated Democrat…..until he stood up for the law and the Constitution….no matter who was President. I saw an interview where he said once he did that he and his wife were shunned by their social group….no longer invited to dinners and affairs.
This made him stunned and woke him up to what had happened to his party….Communism and Socialism.
Even though I knew he was a Democrat all these years, I still always admired how he stood up for the LAW. I admire him even more now as he goes through this “trial by fire” of the Left.
