Much of the Jordanian leadership is vehemently anti-Semitic, despite the “peace” agreement that Jordan signed with Israel in 1994. Naturally the New York Times (Thomas Friedman) would refer to such a country as an “Island of Decency” in the Middle East.
Jordan orders closing of Aaron’s Tomb, visiting Israelis were ‘stripped down’
Jordanian Minister Abdul Nasser Musa Abu al-Basal ordered the closure of Aaron’s Tomb after a video surfaced showing some 500 Israelis praying there.

The Jordanian Waqf, the Islamic trust in charge of Muslim holy sites in Jordan as well as the Temple Mount in Jerusalem – Judaism’s holiest site and Islam’s third holiest – announced the closure of Aaron’s Tomb on Thursday after Israeli tourists had entered the site and prayed there, according to several Hebrew-language media, citing Sky News in Arabic reports.
The site is located at the top of Mount Heron, west of Petra City in southern Jordan.

The Israelis made the four-hour trek to the site on the occasion of the anniversary of the death of Aaron the High Priest, the biblical Moses’s brother.
The first day of the Hebrew month of Av – which coincides this year with Thursday evening, August 2 at sunset until Friday evening, according to the Jewish lunar calendar – marks the anniversary of Aaron’s passing. As recorded in the bible, “At God’s order, Aaron the priest went up on Mount Hor, and he died there on the first day of the fifth month of the fortieth year after the people of Israel had left the land of Egypt. Aaron was 123 years old when he died on Mount Hor.” (Numbers 33:38-39)
The Jordanian Minister of the Waqf, Abdul Nasser Musa Abu al-Basal, ordered the closure of the site after a video surfaced showing some 500 Israelis praying there. The minister claimed that his office had not been informed of the visit in advance.
The Waqf said it will open an investigation into the incident and find the person responsible for allowing the Israelis to enter the tomb.

So much for the fable of the ‘people of the book’ being brothers in Abraham w/the f’ing muslums. And where are allah those “non-observant”, “good”, “decent”, “moderate” muslums? Why aren’t they protesting the treatment of the kafir al najjis across the muslum world?
As for Jordan, “moderate” Jordan’s constitution specifically forbids Jews ever being citizens and, in the 1980’s, non only allowed the PLO to establish terrorist training camps on Jordanian soil but to use Jordan as a jumping off point for terrorist attacks against Israel.

I would propose that the only difference between a “moderate” muslum and a “radical” muslum might be one of tactics but the end game is always the same: islamic hegemony.

Muslims seem to have never evolved passed the 7th century. Probably even further back than that.
And the Lefty-loons & their Puppet Masters, the DemocRat Party want Israel to let in the muslims or give the muslims Israel & leave. That would be a death sentence. Omg! I feel for the people of Israel. This has to stop. What will it take for them to back off & leave Israel & Israelis alone?

Beware the muslims posing as infidels that post here. I have removed the names as it was in violation of my own concept of free speech but I hate dissimulation and they were so typical of the muslim world. They approach as extremely antiMarxist, often defending islam and denying its barbarism then it move onto the Marxist Jews and then the poor old Jews period. They often have umpteen references from multiple sources, never answer direct questions and insult when annoyed or corrected. They also tend to reply ad infinitum which is annoying to those who actually work for a living.
