Ocasio-Cortez: Trump Running ‘Concentration Camps’ Like In The Holocaust

Story continues below advertisementDemocratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) falsely claimed during an Instagram live video Monday night that the Trump administration was operating “concentration camps” on the southern border, a situation she compared to the Holocaust.
“The United States is running concentration camps on our southern border and that is exactly what they are,” Ocasio-Cortez alleged. “They are concentration camps. And, um, if that doesn’t bother you, I don’t, I don’t know, I like, we can have, okay whatever.”
Ocasio-Cortez then explicitly invoked the Holocaust by mentioning the phrase “Never Again,” which is a direct reference to the Holocaust.
“I want to talk to the people that are concerned enough with humanity to say that we should not that ‘Never Again’ means something and that the fact that concentration camps are now an institutionalized practice in the home of the free is extraordinarily disturbing and we need to do something about it,” the freshman congresswoman continued.
This administration has established concentration camps on the southern border of the United States for immigrants, where they are being brutalized with dehumanizing conditions and dying.

Ocasio-Cortez is at best vacuous, a certifiable nutter whose ignorance receives too much ink or press time. On the other hand, this woman’s imbecilic, vitriolic blathering will awaken those within her party, doubtful, or anyone of a Leftist, political bent with commonsense or political savviness or unbiased, this is doubtful, also.
Ocasio-Cortez’s betrays her overt sense of self-righteousness and ignorance, puerility by comparing Trump’s treatment of illegals, mass-migrants as those death camps of the Holocaust only confirms, solidifies this woman’s hatred, and vacuity.

Come one, she didn’t actually say (or implly) such a thing. Ok, ok, is it that there is some element of what we “believe” (“know”: for the rest of us,) about the holocaust that has a similarity with something that occurred then?
For example, people were forced to stand outside for “roll-call” in any weather for may hours without any permissible reason to leave and return (excrement). If I remember correctly, then the result of falling to the ground was being shot where one fell.
President Trump has made people wait “standing” in a figurative or actual line (requirements) to get into the U. S. of A.
Is that the comparison (I’m trying to guess, obviously.)

Crazy people should be in mental hospitals, not given a publicly funded platform for their insane rantings.
This insults all the victims of the Holocaust. I have cousins who were victims of the Holocaust, and I’m personally offended such a narrative would be publicly acceptable.

So to encapsulate her position – if Trump keeps those illegals out in the hot sun during daytime, and the bitter cold at night, he’s inhumane and a monster, but if he puts them in tents, gives them food and drink, offers medical care and keeps families together where possible, he’s Hitler.
