JUSTICE FOR CHIEF GALLAGHER #FreeEddie

46

Chief Gallagher has been charged with mistreating an ISIS terrorist during combat operations!

On Patriot’s Day, Sept 11th 2018, NCIS snatched Chief Gallagher in the midst of TBI treatment, shackled him, kept him shackled in solitary confinement for 72 hrs.
He has been in pre-trial confinement for over 4 months and counting.
Chief Gallagher has been Indefinitely Detained, repeatedly denied access to medical care, and has limited access to his attorneys.

If this can happen to Chief Gallagher, it can happen to anyone. Even by the Navy SEALs standard, Chief Gallagher’s  biography is extraordinary (read it here).

Story continues below advertisement

In the case of Eddie Gallagher, charged with the murder of an ISIS detainee, there is little to no physical evidence of guilt. There is no autopsy or body to show that a murder even occurred. Instead, the case is built solely on the claims of a few junior SEALs, who did not report the alleged incident for months, and only started making claims after Chief Gallagher reported them for cowardice in combat and his genuine concerns over their ability to perform the mission.

In the civilian justice system, prosecutors are required to present evidence to a grand jury, who votes on whether there is probable cause to bring an indictment. In the military, rather than a grand jury, a single officer presides over an Article 32 hearing, where evidence is presented and that officer, usually an attorney, decides whether there is probable cause to proceed with charges. On paper, this may seem fairer than a grand jury because the defense can be present and even cross-examine the witnesses. But the reality is a bit different because the hearing officer prepares an advisory opinion and the convening authority can either accept or reject their recommendation. To put that into context, imagine a civilian prosecutor presents evidence to the grand jury, who finds that there is no probable cause to charge the defendant, but the prosecutor’s boss can ignore that decision and proceed with charges anyway.

In Chief Gallagher’s case, this is exactly the situation that occurred. The officer who heard all of the evidence at his Article 32 hearing found that some, but not all, charges were supported by the bare minimum evidence to constitute probable cause. Specifically, the hearing officer found that the evidence was insufficient on two counts of attempted murder, where Chief Gallagher allegedly shot at, but did not hit, two non-combatants on the streets of Mosul. Even though the hearing officer, who is an attorney, found no probable cause, the convening authority, who is not an attorney, rejected this conclusion and directed that Chief Gallagher face these two counts of attempted murder at trial.

Please ask President Trump to free Chief Gallagher.

Re:  Navy Chief Edward R. Gallagher

Dear Mr. President:

I wrote to you on December 11, 2018 (encl) asking for your help for Navy Seal Chief Edward R. Gallagher, currently “still” held in the Navy brig in California. Seven weeks have passed, and I have not received a response.  President Trump, dare I infringe on the great progress you are making for our country, but I must. This matter is urgent.

Chief Gallagher has been locked up in the brig in California now for almost 6 months. He was taken out of TBI treatment, shackled and arrested on Patriot’s Day, September 11, 2018. Chief Gallagher is a Navy Seal, who served 19 years of decorated service, now charged with pre-meditated murder.

For the last 19 years, Chief Gallagher has risked his life to keep us all safe.  Yet now he finds himself locked up in the brig and treated like a man already tried and found guilty.  Due to his imprisonment, his ability to formulate any kind of decent defense is nil, and he is going to trial soon.

His wife and children are in Florida, the Chief is being held prisoner in California.  Over the last 6 months, this Navy Seal has seen his wife three times, and his kids, once, on Thanksgiving Day.  These are the same kids the government traumatized by pulling them out of their beds in their underwear, out in front of the neighbors, with their guns drawn!

Chief Gallagher’s kids are brave Patriots. They have said goodbye to their Dad many times since they were born, so that he could go somewhere dangerous to protect all of us.  They miss him. I bet they are wondering how we could treat their Dad like this.  Me Too.

I listened to your State of the Union speech Tuesday evening. It was wonderful. One part of your speech overwhelmed me. You told the story of Judah, who was there in your audience.  Judah is a Holocaust survivor who remembers when the American Soldiers came and saved them all:

“Suddenly the train screeched to a very strong halt. A soldier appeared. Judah’s family braced for the worst. Then, his father cried out with joy: “It’s the Americans. It’s the Americans.”

As I heard those beautiful words, “It’s the Americans”, I imagined how many times over 19 years Chief Gallagher and his Brothers heard those same beautiful words of hope and freedom.

President Trump, the Chief needs to hear “It’s the Americans” as he is led out of the brig.  He deserves to go home, to be with his family and be afforded all the rights to defend himself that he fought so hard to provide all of us.

Mr. President, please help Chief Gallagher.

With A Mother’s Heart & Great Respect,

Beverly Perlson

This kind of persecution has happened to UK special forces too and whichever country persecutes its special forces in this way is heading for disaster.

Our societies rely on rough men wielding big guns to do two things for us all, one is to pull the cretinous political elites backsides from the fires of their own making, and the other is to help protect us, the deserving majority.

There is no place for civilian lawyers OR the rules drawn up for a civil population to be applied to these our best people when so much is expected and drawn from them in terms of stress and danger.

Please remember the costs all these fine men bear. A year ago, a sergeant in the SAS volunteered to go into a cave and clear out the Talib inside, he went in alone, shot all he could before his gun jammed so he grabbed a shovel and smashed in the head of the last one he found. He returned covered in the blood of the enemy, silent and shocked but alive.

Spare a few thoughts for men like these, what they do never leaves them.

Stand by one of your own, go for his persecutors.

Well said and great story about the SAS man. If American he’d probably be arrested. Further, no woman is going to be able to fight like that man, so all this business of accepting females in special forces will make them less then special. God made us different and for different purposes, so the sooner this messing around ends, the better. I read about 12 British boat navy men who were hopelessly outnumbered in one fight in Iraq or Syria, then ran out of ammunition so resorted to other means, knives, clubs, anything against ISIS and knocked the stuffing out of that Muslim excreta. One of the Brits drowned an ISIS man in a puddle of water. What those 12 men did was enormously brave.

This is absurd. We must support Chief Gallagher! In war you KILL the enemy. He is a remarkable man.
I remember Trump being appalled at this and commenting that it needs to run it’s course. He also found it appalling because it is insane. I suspect Trump will “pardon” him if he has to. This is like a Mueller style military investigation complete with NO EVIDENCE!

If convicted, he could face life behind bars. He has denied all the allegations. His wife and the mother of his children, Andrea (pictured), also said in an interview: ‘This is not who Eddie is’comment image

The all new feel good military judiciary, lets go and find someone who put his life on the line for his country and then stitch him up for some perceived crime against the very people who were trying to kill him and his comrades and make political milage out of it. Yeh right, sounds like someone within the military justice complex is eyeing off a position after their military life is over.

True. I was going to try to post the list of all of them but, it won’t transfer correctly. You can find it on the internet by searching: General Paul Valley 3/17/14 who wrote the list.
Interesting you will find General Mattis on that list when Obummer fired him….yet you didn’t hear a whimper out of the Left back then like when President Trump fired him.
Do any of you remember who his second in command was? It was Dena Powell….the Dhimmi for Islam…President Trump ran her off pretty quickly.
D.C. has a Deep Swamp….which is closely aligned with the military Swamp….scary as hell.

You might be surprised. The NROTC has spectacular young kids signing up and competing for the Academy and West Point. We were down at the Academy a couple of years ago – these young kids are AWESOME.

Maybe or maybe they will make a difference.

I made a mistake We were down at the Academy in Annapolis MD not West Point.
I edited my original reply. It was an awesome experience. My youngest applied for their summer seminar and was selected. It replicated what it would be like at the academy. She LOVED it. She was very disappointed that she was not selected to attend the Academy. It turns out it is very political and we are not politically connected. So she went for the NROTC and got a scholarship. She also received a Trustee Board Merit Scholarship at the University she is attending now.

She wasn’t able to follow though on the NROTC. When at the summer session at the Academy she developed eczema. Her dermatologist told her it might have been due to stress. I think it was. The physical requirements are steep and she wasn’t cutting it but she was determined to meet them upon return an she did meet them. To make a long story short, she decided to stay with her merit scholarship because even of the skin problem. It got worse. The stress seemed to bring out a weakness. She was so disappointed that she had to with drawl. The kids liked her too and still include her in things but it is not the same as being in it. GREAT KIDS! I just can’t praise then enough! ALL of them are impressive.

I had mixed emotions on that since I don’t want women in combat situations… but things have their own way of working out. The NROTC are looking to get students into nuclear engineering, Farsi speakers and Mandarin speakers. As her foreign language she knows Mandarin. and they were suggesting she look into learning Farsi or they would teach her that. but it didn’t work out for her.

I’ll believe how “spectacular” and “AWESOME” are these recruits once I hear of them in action and under fire. Character, moral fibre, toughness of spirit and morale determines how good are these “kids” are, not superficial appearances in cute uniforms. And how good are the those training these young men and women to fight – and what are their beliefs? When some time ago some Americans in small boats were captured by Iranians – without even putting up a fight (which was worse than pathetic!) – some cried for their mommy – in front of the enemy for goodness sake! A few months ago in some West African country, some supposedly American special forces men, four of them, were killed by Muslim insurgents, and after reading about their sloppy conduct in enemy territory – wearing T-shirts and baseball caps – I was appalled by their clueless conduct. T-shirts and baseball caps while on active duty and poor defenses round their bivouac? It’s one thing playing boy and girl soldiers and sailors in academies, it’s another thing doing the real thing when you can be killed. Ask yourself, what kind of blood people, Americans, go and arrest Chief Gallagher without adequate investigation and then endeavour to frame him? I will tell you who they are. Enemies of the people and cowardly scum. Spiritually the country is rotting within and you need to wake up to it.

Obama made those rules of engagement and suddenly American fatalities in Afghanistan shot up over the time when George W. Bush was president. They then shot up in Iraq, and in my opinion were designed to reduce Muslim enemy deaths. Yes, they were insane and for them Obama should have been shot, In fact if he were shot now I wouldn’t shed a tear, instead would cheer.

Good comment that I know to be true, ladywarrior, and it accounts for the shoddy treatment being meted out to Chief Gallagher. I think that American forces – without those men Obama fired – are rotting within. All educational material about Islam expunged and in its place garbage that won’t name the enemy. Amazing but true. Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch used to train these people before traitor Obama arrived on the scene, but no longer, so how well prepared are they to fight the Muslim enemy?

The U.S. Rules of Engagement have led to the deaths of more American soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq than all of the Iranian IED’s,and that’s a fact. One interesting story is that the 300 man brigade sent by the Republic of Georgia was relieved of duty by the US Commander in Iraq after they never seemed to turn up any prisoners. When asked, the Georgian commander replied.,”We ave been fighting this scum for 1200 years and you don;t take prisoners unless you intend to commit suicide.”

Sorry folk, but when something like this can happen, then America has degenerated into a country that Donald Trump rightly described as “shit-holes”. When it turns out that junior Navy SEALS are proving cowards, then something bad has happened to the character of the nation. So now the cowards have dictated the fortune of a brave seal and the ‘authorities’ believed the cowards rather than Chief Gallagher. Who are these ‘authorities’? More Muslims who Barack Obama infiltrated into the FBI, CIA and other services in the United States and want an American patriot punished for killing a Muslim?

I am proud of the fact that when South African mercenaries, mostly ex-SA Defence Force men, were hired to fight Boko Haram in Nigeria, they killed every of those miserable murdering sods. In the middle of military action they through various means drove or herded them into ‘kill blocks’ and did to them what was deserved. ISIS men have murdered Christians and Yazidis by the thousands in insanely cruel ways – and now it is wrong to kill the ISIS enemy? This is totally insane! I recommend that America rather hires South African mercenaries to do its fighting because they will get the job done, you won’t have any prisoners to feed prisoners – or have Canada’s idiotic Prime Minister Trudeau pay them $10.5 million dollars – and if some American tries to arrest these South Africans for killing Muslim savages, they will do you a favour and kill those like the worthless Naval Criminal Investigation Service traitors who arrested and are framing Chief Gallagher.
