And then there were three. Is anyone really surprised at these scandals? Is anyone really surprised by revelations that show that the Democrat Party is really the party of racism and sexism? The identity politics with which the Democrat Party is obsessed is just an updated version of the old Jim Crow laws and slavery: it maintains the same obsession with race, and bases advancement on skin color rather than merit, which carries the obvious implication that black Americans are inferior and can’t make it on their accomplishments alone. It’s the same thing with feminism: it’s a statement that women have to be favored because they’re women, which is tacitly saying women are inferior and need special breaks. So now it turns out that top Virginia Democrats are racist and misogynists? No surprise at all.

RICHMOND, Va., Feb 6 (Reuters) – The political crisis in Virginia deepened on Wednesday when the attorney general admitted to wearing blackface in the 1980s at a college party, becoming the state’s third high-ranking Democrat caught up in scandal.
Story continues below advertisementGovernor Ralph Northam was already fighting for his political life over a racist photo from his 1984 medical school yearbook that emerged last week, and the lieutenant governor sought on Wednesday to fend off allegations of sexual misconduct.
Attorney General Mark Herring, 57, who has expressed gubernatorial ambitions and called four days ago for Northam to resign, admitted in a statement he donned brown face paint at a party in 1980 to impersonate a rapper.
Northam, 59, acknowledged last weekend to having worn blackface – a practice dating to 19th century minstrel shows caricaturing slaves – in 1984 to impersonate Michael Jackson.
His admission came after a conservative media website published a photo on Friday from Northam’s page in his 1984 medical school year book showing one man wearing blackface beside another masked figure in robes of the white supremacist group the Ku Klux Klan.
After initially saying he was one of the two depicted in the photo, Northam changed his story and said neither was him.
A separate scandal engulfing Democratic Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax, 39, who is black and would succeed Northam were he to step down, intensified on Wednesday when a woman accused him of sexually assaulting her at the Democratic National Convention in 2004.
Herring, who like Northam is white, is second in line to succeed the governor as attorney general.
THIRD IN LINE
The simultaneous controversies embroiling the top three-elected politicians in the executive branch of Virginia’s government raised the unlikely prospect of Democrats losing the governorship to a Republican. Kirk Cox, Republican speaker of Virginia’s House of Delegates, is third in the constitutional line of succession.
Cox, 61, a former high school teacher who has served in the state’s Republican-controlled House since 1990, issued a statement on Wednesday saying the controversies in the executive branch “are disturbing” but “will be resolved in due course.” In the meantime, lawmakers would focus on budget deliberations and “hundreds of bills remaining before us.”
Legislators otherwise kept a low profile on Wednesday, ducking reporters as they left the state capitol in Richmond following Wednesday’s legislative session.
Northam has remained out of public view since Saturday, when he held a news conference to address the furor over his yearbook pictures, which sparked calls for his resignation from fellow Democrats in Virginia, a key swing state in the 2020 presidential race.
Civil rights groups and at least five Democratic candidates for the White House also have urged Northam to step down.
Despite the Democratic Party’s current zero tolerance for bigotry and sexual misconduct, Democrats might be motivated to rally behind Northam if faced with the prospect of Republicans suddenly assuming the governorship.
SEXUAL ASSAULT ALLEGATION DENIED
In his statement, Cox singled out the allegations against Fairfax as “extremely serious.” The lieutenant governor has acknowledged knowing his accuser but on Wednesday repeated his assertion their encounter was consensual.
The woman, Vanessa Tyson, in a statement issued by Washington law firm Katz, Marshall & Banks, said that Fairfax forced her to perform oral sex on him in a hotel room.
“I cannot believe, given my obvious distress, that Mr. Fairfax thought this forced sexual act was consensual,” Tyson said in the statement, which was published by multiple U.S. media outlets….

The Democratic/Fascist Party is the epitome of hypocrisy. A Party whose benchmark is one of rabid antisemitism/Israel; a party that loathes this Republic and its Constitution while endeavoring to fuse its totalitarian, autocratic doctrines on the American people. A Party that has much more in common with Nazism and Islamism while driven to eradicate the Constitutional Republic, while forcing Jews, Christians, and others of faith, excluding, of course, Islam, underground.
The Blackface fiasco is a pathetic reaction; after all, historically, the Democrats’ base is one of intolerance and bigotry. Moreover, the party is inundated with anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, anti-American, Muslim Representatives bolstered by other Democrats of their perfidious and treasonous like. Americans beguiled, or conned by the Democrats’ latest theatrics, histrionics to protect their veneer as a Party of Tolerance are as self-righteous and perfidious as the Democratic Party.

Ziggy; There IS a difference between a good Democrat person who DOES love America and believes WE the PEOPLE MUST live by the SUPREME LAW of the LAND which stems from the Constitution.

Laddyboy, I’m sure there is the rare Democrat who is not part of the treasonous scourge. I cannot think of any, you may be able to help me at that end. Plus, I do not dismiss the RINOS who are part of this said subversive Leftist/Muhammadan scourge. I agree with you but remain believing that the Democratic Party is bent, endeavoring to not only usurp Trump but the downfall of the Constitutional Republic.
There likely is a way to call-them-out; however, it is apparent the Democrats are viewed as above the nation’s laws. Moreover, they are enabled by the FBI, the DOJ, and other agencies whose task is to call-them-out. I am a cynic when it comes to the inner-workings of the Republic’s inner-sanctum; not to mention the perfidious likes of Soros, Obama, and the Clinton(s).

I do not disagree with your response. It is unfortunate that SOOOooo many Americans have been blinded by the HATRED of the DemocRATic communist/muslem/nwo party. I am glad that we do agree about the inappropriate actions of the SES and the DEEP STATE cabal. I do think, not FEEL, that ‘g.soros’ and his ilk MUST be prosecuted for funding the ANTI-America groups in America. IE: Grants to anti-American organizations which are assisting the INVASIONS from South of the Border. Who in “congress” GAVE 38 billion dollars to the Southern countries? I would like to know their names.

So much is given for foreign aid, to State. Some is earmarked, some is at the discretion of State (actually Trump’s Administration). If I am not mistaken, this 16.4 BILLION came out of that (non earmarked). It’s a shame that State couldn’t use it to build a portion of a border wall .. but, no-can-do.

If you haven’t done so already, take a closer look at prophecy. Third world countries have always had problems with lawlessness, corruption etc. but now the west is experiencing that and it’s getting worse as we import them and become like them. The delusion of Islam being peaceful and those acting out appeased with excuses is surreal What is depraved is now exalted and protected. Lots of other issues are falling into place and this is on a global scale. I never thought I’d see this happening in my lifetime. It can still be reversed but the longer we do nothing the messier it will be to do that.

Unfortunately, the depravity and deception will only deepen as we are now living ‘in the last days’ according to Scripture.
As a preacher of the gospel for 48 years (this Sunday) I am keenly aware of the prophetic scope of events and time-line for the unfolding of the same.
The world’s only hope is Christ. And, increasingly, they reject Him, His truth (the Word of God) and those who believe and follow Him. Just as He said they would.

48 is a typo. It’s 47, today. And that’s why I’m here-and out there as the Lord, and opportunity, allows.
The Scriptures are quite clear, in context, that the Rapture will occur before the Tribulation Period and the revealing of the Anti-Christ.
But I do not bicker with other true believers who think otherwise.

Notice how AL Sharpton only goes after the WHITE GOVERNOR, and ignores the black guy, Justin Fairfax, Lieutenant governor of Virginia, who would move up and take his place if Gov. Northam stepped down. Justin has been accused of sexual assault. I can’t possibly call this POS, Al Sharpton, a “Reverend”. He looks more like a pimp to me. Sharpton and Kathy Jordan married in 1980 and separated in 2004. While still married to his second wife, Marsha Tinsley, started dating again. That lasted less than a year. So he is twice divorced with two daughters from first wife. He is totally corrupt from any persepective.
