Apple Gives Deep State Access To Roger Stone’s iCloud Account, After Refusing To Violate Privacy of San Bernardino Jihad Terrorists

70

Traitors and totalitarians. We know that the social media giants have been at war with those who oppose jihad for quite some time, and are actively committed to banning and blocking counter-jihad accounts and imposing sharia blasphemy restrictions. But this is a step even farther. After stouting defending the privacy rights of the San Bernardino jihad mass murderers, Apple turned on a dime and handed over access to all of Roger Stone’s data. This shows what they think is a worse crime: not jihad mass murder, but dissenting from the left’s agenda and supporting President Trump. Apple is evil.

“Apple Gives Deep State Access To Roger Stone’s iCloud Account, After Refusing To Violate Privacy of San Bernardino Terrorists,” by Jacob Engels, Gateway Pundit, February 6, 2019 (thanks to Todd):

Three years after Apple refused to give the federal government access to the devices used by the San Bernadino terrorists who killed and injured dozens in a mass shooting event, the company has given the office of the Special Counsel complete access to Trump advisor Roger Stone’s iCloud account, reports Apple Insider.

Story continues below advertisement

According to the Washington Post, Apple objected to giving the federal government backdoor access to the shooters iPhones, claiming it would “set a dangerous precedent.”

“From the beginning, we objected to the FBI’s demand that Apple build a backdoor into the iPhone because we believed it was wrong and would set a dangerous precedent. As a result of the government’s dismissal, neither of these occurred. This case should never have been brought.”

Fast forward to present, and we see that Apple no longer seems to have the same privacy concerns it once did in 2015. Without any fight, they simply turned over Roger Stone’s iCloud passwords and God knows what else, because Orange Man Bad. The fact that Apple views a political persecution less of a hill to die on than protecting the rights of terrorists who killed and maimed dozens of Americans is quite telling.

More from the Washington Post on Apple’s refusal to turn over access to the San Bernandino [sic] shooters devices…

“If allowed to stand, the order in Apple’s case would have forced company engineers to create software to disable a phone security feature so that the FBI could try its hand at unlocking the device by cracking a numeric password. Apple quickly resisted, arguing that forcing it to create such software would violate the company’s constitutional rights and weaken privacy for users around the world.”

Which makes us wonder… what exactly was Apple threatened with by Robert Mueller and the Office of the Special Counsel for them to abandon their firm stance against turning over user data and access to federal investigators? Surely they didn’t reason that two mass shooters were more deserving of their tough stand against government overreach and backdoor programs? There must be some explanation as to how they could give the federal government the power to access our privately held devices and accounts at will right?…

Recently while the media focused on the murder of Muhammadist Kashoggi by Saudi Arabia a whistleblower on Saudi human rights-violations was hunted down by United Arab Emirates Twitter-employees & then tortured to death by Saudi Arabia which owns the biggest stake of Twitter.
Today Africans are enslaved, castrated, divorced, beaten & killed in Saudi Arabia & enslaved in the UAE, Oman, Yemen, Kuwait, Lebanon, Bahrain, Iraq, North-Sudan, Libya (surge), Algeria (surge), Mauritania (20 percent), Niger, Mali, Somalia, Nigeria in emulation of unjust Muhammad who started the global African slave-trade by saying his unproven deity had turned Africans black so Africans’ descendants would be slaves to Arabs & Turks (see Wikiislam).

“There must be some explanation as to how they could give the federal government the power to access our privately held devices and accounts at will right?…” There is. Apple, is just an arm of the deep state. The deep state’s goal, is to weaken and destroy this country from within. So, it makes perfect sense they would try to stop access to the SB shooters, while handing over info from Stone’s phone.

Wrong! they handed over the same data for San Bernardino they did for Stone, icloud data, they could not give access to physical data without creating a backdoor on the iphones that would make every iphone more susceptible to being hacked.

Exactly, Achmed, Apple is all you say and more. Treasonous, slave driving scumbags. I would not buy any Apple products even if I could afford to do so. Then again, Apple’s competitors are no better.

It’s the principal of the thing. The laws and rules governing all Search Warrants clearly states that shotgun search warrants are illegal. The requesting Agency must specify to the judge “exactly” what it is looking for, what it is related to and show proof that it is “needed and relative to” as a direct part of their investigation.

So if Apple provided the same evidence to both cases, what has Apple done wrong exactly other than stating they use encryption and can not get physical access to a device once its password has been entered to many times and locks the phone requiring a password.

I love Pam and this site, but this story is just false.

It is irrelevant what they did or did not do for anyone else. What Apple did is still WRONG, 2 wrongs don’t make a right. It had to be a “blanket” Warrant, which it wasn’t. “Blanket Warrants” are not legally permissible. The entire process is biased and duplicitous in the extreme. By the same token; I have researched Mueller very thoroughly. He has had decisions overturned due to obstruction, coercion, lies, deceit, provided false evidence. He facilitated and approved the Uranium deal with Russian on behalf of the Clintons as head of the FBI. He carried the uranium sample to Russia personally. My point being, that Apple, knowing that Mueller should be in jail, failed to apply “Due Diligence” and vett the warrant for “exactly what they were looking for”. Some day, someone will sue Apple and I believe they will win. The biggest point that Pam Geller is trying to make here is the blatant Hypocrisy and blatant Double Standard being applied here.

Apple does not build backdoors into iPhones, Apple has no way to get the data off a locked phone. This whole story is false and all the comments disparging apple about it are plain ignorance. Google has the same policy with Android since they added data encryption, cry about Google.

Hahahaha….Yes, I agree with you. Google is every bit as evil and corrupt. Their “tracking” software whether one wants it or not, is always working passively, it never shuts down or turns off. So many bad guys are utterly perplexed as to how the cops know exactly when, where and at exactly what time they were pinpointed for offenses. Google nor the cops ever reveal this, because it falls under “illegally obtained evidence”.

What didn’t happen? Apple did, or did not, open up/release Apple’s icloud data for Stone, or they didn’t. Did they? Or, did they not? IF they did, sounds pretty much like they’re collaborating with the “Deep State”. Unless, of course, it deals with moslem mass murders and mass murderers. Cannot have it both ways. Did they release Stone’s icloud storage?

Apple turned over all the iCloud data that was backed up, what they won’t and say they can’t do is break the encryption to unlock the device.

So the short of it is the iCloud data is useless with a specific device being unlocked with encryption that is NOT being given out, yes?
Is it possible to access the data with a program created to do such a thing currently out there and known,or is that a down the road deal, maybe, possibly?

Nefarious420
Nefarious420

In San Bernardino the terrorist had no data backed up to his icloud account to be recovered, and since the FBI failed to hack the phone causing it to lock requiring password, Apple was unable to force an iCloud backup making all data recovered useless. The FBI are to be blamed in this, not Apple.

FBI also screwed up unlocking the Boston Bombers phones. IOS 12 also broke the programs being used to gain access to iphones.

If you want to hate Apple, hate them for the right reasons. Apple has stated they can not crack iphones period, but that they hand over all icloud data when asked by states/federal as long as they are asked for through legal channels.

For the San Bernardino icloud data, the terrorist did not back much up to icloud, and the FBI decided to try to hack the phone themselves locking the device so Apple could not force the phone to do a current iphone back to the cloud.

Apple has been nothing but consistent in saying they can not hack iphones.

I have read the story, and the story is false or a misunderstanding between the 2 cases. The SB terrorist did not backup to icloud so nothing was recovered, Stone did backup to icloud so his data was available.

Tim Cook said at the time when the FBI and everyone were screaming at Apple to give up the encryption keys to iphones that they have no way to break them, but as long as the phone isn’t locked requiring passcode being entered they could trigger an icloud backup and with subpoena would gladly turn it over, even created a faster way for Law Enforcement to get said data.

If you want to hate Apple, go at it, just go at for true reasons and not a story that is false from the start.

I entirely agree that the giant tech companies are inimical to freedom and seek to undermine the President and all who stand against the leftist agenda, however, it seems that something important has been missed here. Apple claims that the info it handed over from Stone’s accounts is the same kind of info that the company DID provide to the FBI in response to a warrant in the case of the San Bernardino jihadists:

“The information provided on Stone is the same type of information that Apple provided from the San Bernardino shooter’s device from 2016 after a warrant was served. UNLİKE THE SAN BERNARDİNO iPHONE 5C, A DEVİCE UNLOCK HAS NOT BEEN REQUESTED FOR STONE2S DEVİCES, NOR HAS ONE BEEN PERFORMED.” Emphasis mine.
