Democrat Invites Illegal Immigrant to State of the Union Address

Every year, as the State of the Union address looms, both parties make a big to-do about who they’re inviting as guests.
Story continues below advertisementI’ll admit I’ve come to loathe this inexorable, meretricious process, even when the Republicans were sticking it to President Barack Obama, although their choices were usually better.
Take 2016, for instance, when then-Speaker Paul Ryan invited the Little Sisters of the Poor — the Catholic group at the center of a challenge to Obamacare’s birth control requirements — to sit in his box during the address.
However eye-rolling the tradition may be, it at least allows one to glean what the priorities of both parties are.
This year, the takeaway from the Democrats is that they’re prioritizing those who broke the law to enter or stay in the country to work — provided, of course, those individuals worked somewhere in the Trump Organization.
“A New Jersey Democrat has invited a surprising guest to President Trump’s State of the Union address: an illegal immigrant who was fired from the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster,” Fox News reported Thursday.
“Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman said Wednesday that she extended the invitation to Victorina Morales, a Guatemala-born woman who was fired from the golf property where she worked as a housekeeper for five years.”
It’s worth noting that Morales wasn’t actually fired from the club, according to The Washington Post — she merely didn’t return to work on the advice of her lawyer after going public as an illegal immigrant. (As a side note, how many housekeepers have attorneys advising them on their every move? It’s almost like this was carefully orchestrated by someone. But I digress.)
However, at least 12 illegal immigrants were fired by the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester County, New York. The Trump Organization has pledged to use E-verify in the future.
Watson Coleman, meanwhile, claimed this was proof the president had made his fortune off the backs of what seems to be a handful of illegal immigrants.
“President Trump justified shutting the government down for five weeks by demonizing immigrants as the scourge of the country and the root of our nation’s crime and insecurity,” she said in a statement.
“Meanwhile, CEO Trump led a company that has relied extensively on the hard work of undocumented immigrants like my constituent Victorina to keep his resorts clean and his putting greens trimmed. Donald Trump wants to build silly walls to stop the same immigrants that he’s made a career and a fortune from exploiting.
“I hope that in his State of the Union address, Donald Trump will finally acknowledge the real face of immigrants in this country — women and children fleeing violence, law-abiding, tax-paying people who would do almost anything to be Americans.
“And if he can’t, I’ve invited Victorina so that he may look her in her eyes to tell his lies to a familiar face.”
Even for a member of Congress — a body where lying and demagogy are the rule and not the exception, particularly on the fringes — that dumpster conflagration of tired Democrat tropes and naked sentimentality is unique in just how wrong and how maudlin it manages to be in so few words.
First the erroneous: Trump obviously didn’t hire Morales, nor did any of his children or his top lieutenants or anyone who knows them. The idea that she would be “a familiar face” is an absurdity. We don’t know that Morales was fleeing violence, and most illegal immigrants aren’t.
As for the “law-abiding” part, the reason we call illegal aliens illegal is that they’ve broken a law; whether or not Watson Coleman agrees with that law is irrelevant in the matter. Conflating illegal immigrants with immigrants as a whole — notice when Watson Coleman implies that Morales is “the real face of immigrants in this country” — is an insult to immigrants who follow the law.
Oh, and at present, the number of fired illegal immigrants from the Trump Organization seems to be 12 — 13, if you count Morales’ resignation. To say that the president “made a career and a fortune from exploiting” illegal immigrants is farcical.
Merriam-Webster might also quibble with Coleman’s use of the word “constituent,” as it defines the word (at least in terms of its relation to a polity) as “a body of citizens entitled to elect a representative (as to a legislative or executive position)” or “the residents in an electoral district.” Morales cannot vote nor be a resident in a strict sense in the district, although she can be said to physically be there (and, since this is New Jersey, be in absolutely no danger of being removed).
As for the empurplement, I have three words for this mess: Oh freaking please.
All this proves is that, like many establishments in the service industry, the Trump Organization wasn’t as stringent about E-verify as it should have been. That appears to have changed, if under pressure.
As for the Democrats, they were for those “silly walls” before they were against them, and the shift was mostly due to identity politics becoming the official creed of the political left.
This entire statement was designed to obfuscate the fact Morales broke the law by coming into this country and that Americans, by in large, support the law she broke.
And that’s the object lesson of this gesture: The Democrats support the lawbreakers. It’s an empty gesture, as these invitations always are, but it’s a telling one.

This one has a bizarre story. She claimed the Trump people took her paperwork and basically enslaved her there.
Supposedly they knew she was illegal with fake paper work. Even if this could be true, if I was an illegal, I would have left this employment. It just doesn’t make sense. She had a menial job and easily replaced. When she went pubic about being illegal, she never returned to work at the Trump Bedminster golf facility. Trump is too large of an employer to play those games and wouldn’t. The liberal governor of NJ has been tasked to “investigate” this.

If she were truly held against her will and enslaved, we’d see this ALL over the news non-stop. CNN would be playing this story 24 hours a day. Where is the police report. Where are corroborating witnesses. Nothing. All lies. Again. Maybe Mueller can jump in on this one and get himself another five year “investigation” into Trumps employment practices.

The undocumented immigrants employed by President Trump
Victorina Morales, a housekeeper at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., is also an undocumented immigrant.
Sandra Diaz, who is now a legal resident of the U.S., said she, too, was undocumented when she worked at the club from 2010 to 2013. The two women said they were not the only workers at Bedminster who were in the country illegally, although there is no evidence that Mr. Trump or Trump Organization executives knew of the women’s immigration status.
Notable: Mr. Trump has made border security and the fight to protect jobs for Americans a cornerstone of his presidency.
Response: The Trump Organization, which owns the golf course, said in a statement: “If an employee submitted false documentation in an attempt to circumvent the law, they will be terminated immediately.” The White House declined to comment.
How we know: Ms. Morales and Ms. Diaz approached The Times through their lawyer, who is representing them on immigration matters. As part of its verification of this article, The Times reviewed Ms. Morales’s pay stubs and W-2 forms, which list the golf course as her employer.

Yes, as it’s been pointed out to me …. hundreds of times, illegally crossing the border is a misdemeanor. However, using a false social security number is a serious felony … it’s criminal fraud. Moreover, if she was using a “live” number, that means that she stole it from someone … that is a VERY SERIOUS felony.

Giving this further thought, it shouldn’t be ICE. Rather, it should be the FBI. Stealing someone’s identity, making false statements on federal forms, and a host of other violations … are FAR more serious crimes, with FAR more serious sentences, than lying to Congress. If Stone gets fifteen vehicles, two of which were armored, men carrying fully automatic “machine guns”, to arrest him … there should be HUNDREDS of FBI agents, fully armed and armored, to arrest that thing. Lock it up.

Forty-seven years ago, when I first handled one of those, we were told that they were called rifles. The were used for offensive fire and defensive fire …. The purpose of said “rifle” was to kill the enemy …. Now, whether they have fully auto capacity (like the “rifles” we were issued) or not …. I simply call them “those scary looking black guns”.

This is going back a few years …. I once got into a discussion regarding the ArmaLite 15. Someone was telling me …. “If their name isn’t “assault rifle”, why are they called AR-15s”. After being able to pull myself off of the floor, from laughing so hard,, I explained the original patent, later sold to Colt, was from a company called “ArmaLite” …. This woman looked at me and said, “There’s no such thing as an Armalite”. TOO funny, this time I REALLY laughed.

Talib and Omar both said that all people in the USA ILLEGALLY!! Should not be charged with ANY crimes for criminal acts,..BY US Courts… because Department of Homeland Security, ICE, and US customs must be abolished.
This gives total diplomatic immunity for all crimes committed in the USA..ONLY to people in the USA illegally.

There is the now-famous picture of Mollie Tibbets, an idealistic and typically politically liberal and naive young Iowa girl, who was murdered by an illegal immigrant — who a member of Mollie’s own family (if memory serves), after the illegal’s arrest, called “a part of the community.”
The only other time I’ve heard that name, Tibbets, was of course in reference to U.S. Air Force Gen. Paul Tibbets, who most illegal immigrants would likely never have heard of or care about if they had.
I saw a story on Daily Mail the other day about another Iowa girl — a young, white, Christian girl like Mollie Tibbets — who was weeping uncontrollably in court during her sentencing for the murder of her own infant baby boy by extreme neglect. And there was a picture of the baby, too.
Shockingly and tragically, the baby had the obvious appearance of a person of color of some sort, Latino, muslim, African, I do not know. So goes the white genocide by the Third World hoardes invading our country every day. And with the complicity of our own people, our own government, our own families.

Why isn’t someone publishing the hiring documents including copies of documents she presented when she was hired? E.g., SS# card, driver’s license, statements she attested to on the job application and the usual counterfeit documents these people procure on the black market.

Victoria may be a nice person. However, during the 5(?) years she was in America, WHY did she NOT go to the Immigration Department or her Ambassador’s home and get an application to BECOME an American? IS / WAS she part of 0bama’s ILLEGALLY INSTITUTED executive order “daca” program?
The problem (situation) is of her OWN actions / inactions.
She SHOULD HAVE contacted a lawyer to get the paperwork done to BECOME an American. Apparently, she does NOT WANT to BE an American. Thus, her end result is in her own hands.

You will get one recorded message after another.
If you are lucky enough to connect with a human it is usually someone with an IQ hovering near room temperature centigrade. They should be on the job themselves and if this is done publicly there should be no reason for you or for me to have to call and tell them to do their job.
How many calls did they get before 9/11? I suspect it could have been hundreds but of course no one will ever know because they don’t keep record of all of the tips that they got and ignored or all of the calls that they got and the caller just gave up because they could never speak to anyone who had sufficient intelligence or language skills to understand what they were talking about.
