Finally! Senator Marco Rubio has admitted what most rational thinking pro-Israel Americans already know: the Democrat Party is rabidly anti-Israel and anti-Semitic. AIPAC made a massive mistake by choosing not to confront the Democrat Party’s anti-Israel hostility, and for allowing J-Street to ferociously defame Israel to the Democrat Party unchallenged. AIPAC’s other massive mistake was choosing not to embrace the pro-Israel President Trump, out of fear of offending Democrats who already despised Israel. AIPAC could very well be on a road to irrelevance, as a price to pay for their cowardice and incompetence. A real pro-Israel lobbying group, that is not afraid to effectively confront anti-Israel Democrats, anti-Israel Jewish groups, or the BDS thugs, is urgently needed.

The persecution and genocide of Christians across the world is worse today “than at any time in history,” and Western governments are failing to stop it, a report from a Catholic organization said.
(Ironically Pope Frances cheers on the main slaughters of Christians – MUSLIMS!)
The study by Aid to the Church in Need said the treatment of Christians has worsened substantially in the past two years compared with the two years prior, and has grown more violent than any other period in modern times.
“Not only are Christians more persecuted than any other faith group, but ever-increasing numbers are experiencing the very worst forms of persecution,” the report said.
The report examined the plight of Christians in China, Egypt, Eritrea, India, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria and Turkey over the period lasting from 2015 until 2017. The research showed that in that time, Christians suffered crimes against humanity, and some were hanged or crucified.

I can’t believe I’m writing this because I am definitely no fan of the Democrats, and voted for President Trump, but the entire movement in certain states to have government employees sign a loyalty oath to Israel is horrible.
my first allegiance to the United States of America as a US citizen, and no other.
to basically label anyone who will not sign a loyalty oath to Israel as a United States citizen is not anti-Semitism, it is someone who understands and values their oath to this country FIRST.
to allow any smearing of a US citizen who will not sign a loyalty oath to a foreign power, and to deny them employment, is also unconstitutional and illegal.
The fact that israel continues to push for widespread laws for loyalty oath by US citizens is very troubling and will further discourage people from supporting Israel in the future.
it also doesn’t help that the Canary mission/m0ssad have gone into full high gear doxxing US students on US soil who lobby for BDS, which is not illegal.

Marco Rubio is guilty of spreading fake news. You mean to tell me that it couldn’t possibly be because of First Amendment issues with this proposal? After all, while private citizens have the right to oppose a boycott, government does not. That is, while government can pick and choose its contractors, it cannot use something like BDS as a factor.

The courts have disagreed. Before you mention those lawyer links…individuals have a right to believe in that. BDS is an idea…not an organization (I don’t agree with it, but I’ll defend one’s right to believe in it, provided one doesn’t actually threaten Jewish people or those engaging in business with Israel). States can’t do business with Israel because of Buy America (El Al doesn’t count because they’re not considered public for purposes of US law, much like Keolis and RATP Dev aren’t considered public in the USA despite being majority-owned by the French government (SNCF and RATP Paris, respectively)).

For someone who has pretensions to legal expertise, you have a great deal of trouble with this basic distinction. No one is saying that, for example, Bahia Amawi can not believe in BDS, or even participate in it. However, she can not involve the State of Texas in that decision. Since her business is unlikely to ever be in a position to discriminate against Israel her signing the clause would have been a statement of fact. No one is preventing her from participating in the illegal BDS movement.
