Man, oh man. Tom Jones was hot stuff back then. For a while, he was a phenomenon almost like the Beatles. And for him to be performing on the Ed Sullivan show–well, that was as big as any star could get back then. I remember how women loved him and his TV show, and we men were jealous. In this video, he overdoes the swagger a bit. But in many video clips on YouTube he was pretty suave.

Looks like that hip movement never got him anywhere. Certainly not like Michael Jackson’s Moonwalk. In fact, I never seen it till now.
I remember him for only two songs. This one and “She A Lady”.
This is the conservatives women anthem – “She’s a Lady”.
The one for the crybaby lieberals ladies is the “I Am Women”.
