Malaysia rejects anti-racism convention to uphold Malay Muslim privileges

In Malaysia, race and religion are official bureaucratic terms on the national identity papers of all citizens over the age of 12. Each ethnic group’s rights and duties are laid out in the Constitution on the basis of a pre-independence “social contract” between ethnic Malays (60 per cent), Chinese (23 per cent) and Indians (7 per cent).
Story continues below advertisementKuala Lumpur (AsiaNews/Agencies) – The Malaysian government will not ratify the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD), the Prime Minister’s Office announced today.
“The government will continue to defend the Federal Constitution in which is enshrined the social contract that was agreed upon by the representatives of all the races during the formation of the country,” the statement read.
The “social contract” was a pact made by the leaders of its Malay majority and minority Chinese and Indian groups regarding their rights and privileges as citizens, prior to independence from Britain in 1957.
Over time, the government adopted an affirmative action policy to benefit the Malays, who form 60 per cent of a population of about 32 million, after deadly race riots in the late 1960s.
Ethnic Chinese are estimated at 23 per cent and ethnic Indians comprise about 7 per cent, government data shows.

The concepts of Malay supremacy and Muslim supremacy (Ketuanan Melayu and Ketuanan Islam) are closely linked, since ethnic Malay are legally required to be Muslims.
Last Sunday, Prime Minister Mahathir said that it would be almost impossible for the government to ratify the ICERD since changes to the Federal Constitution require a two-third majority in parliament.
However, in early September, Mahathir had told the UN General Assembly that Malaysia would ratify each of the six human rights conventions still not adopted, including the one on racial discrimination.
The proposed ratification sparked criticism and protests in the government and opposition, as well as among non-governmental organisations.
Many feared that its implementation could undermine the privileges status for Malays in the Constitution.
The ruling Islamist Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS) coalition and the opposition United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) had planned a protest on 8 December.
Yesterday, some NGOs claimed that the approval of the Convention was part of the Democratic Action Party’s (DAP) secret agenda to abolish the special privileges of the Malay Muslim community.
DAP secretary-general and Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, an ethnic Chinese, responded to the allegations by insisting that the party had never raised the issue. He also urged the coalition to apologise and withdraw the statements and allegations against him or face legal action.

Islam simply will not work in a western style democracy. Already freedom of speech has been curbed. Any criticism is “hate speech”. Criticism is considered blasphemy.
Quran (6:93) – “Who can be more wicked than one who invent a lie against Allah?” If the death penalty is prescribed for lesser crime, then it stands to reason that it should be imposed for the most “wicked”.

* It gives NO protection to Christians, or Jews, PUSHED and DRAFTED by MUSLIMS!

Why are Republicans helping Democrats pass hate speech laws instead of eradicating the ones we already have? The Senate passed a resolution that only addresses minorities, leaving persecuted Christians without protection.
The problem with these resolutions is they single out people and make them a PREFERRED CLASS SUPERIOR to OTHERS. It also LIMITS FREE SPEECH by criminalizing some speech.
There’s one other problem. Marco Rubio is one of the four who introduced it, along with another Republican, Susan Collins and two Democrats.
It’s likely a resolution with no substance that panders to some minorities.
This NEW resolution is one that was PUSHED BY ISLAMISTS.
On April 4, 2017, the US Senate passed Senate Resolution 118,
“Condemning hate crime and any other form of racism, religious or ethnic bias, discrimination, incitement to violence, or animus targeting a MINORITY in the United States”. The resolution was DRAFTED by a Muslim organization, Emgage USA (formerly Emerge USA) and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC).
The UNSUBSTANTIATED claim in the bill is that hate crimes against Muslims have increased by 67 percent, allegedly reaching a level of violence targeting Muslim Americans that the United States had not experienced since the aftermath of the September 11, 2001.

It was introduced by Kamala Harris, the female Obama, Dianne Feinstein, Susan Collins, and Marco Rubio.
The Islamists credited them all.
“Thanks to the hard work of Senator Marco Rubio, Senator Dianne Feinstein, Senator Susan Collins and Senator Kamala Harris we have achieved the approval of Senate Resolution 118, an anti-hate crimes bill drafted by Emerge-USA.”
Emerge USA has held events at terror-links mosques.
Instead of shutting down terror-tied mosques, they’re CATERING to them.
The resolution seeks to criminalize hate crimes
These are some of the things they’ve called on law enforcement to do, in addition to improving their reporting of so-called hate crimes:
• to expeditiously investigate all credible reports of hate crimes and incidents and threats against minorities in the United States;
• to hold the perpetrators of those crimes, incidents, or threats accountable and bring the perpetrators to justice.
This one sounds like they want to go after hate THOUGHT crimes:
• encourages the development of an inter-agency task force led by the Attorney General to collaborate on the development of effective strategies and efforts to detect and deter hate crime in order to protect minority communities;
Judith Bergman of The Gatestone Institute wrote: The law already prohibits violence and threats of violence, and law enforcement authorities are supposed to prosecute those — intimidation, destruction, damage, vandalism, simple and aggravated assault. What “hate crimes” are not already covered by the law?
Why did these people, including two Republicans, pass this resolution supporting terror-tied Islamists?
The reason is because Islamists have their hooks into both political parties.

So, if it is a majority, then it is ok ?
And then it does not bode well for muslimes. Jews are a minority, and thus the curin should be forbidden as hate speech. Since Islime is based on Curin it should be forbidden too.

Odd how the Amish and Mennonites never needed special legislation and they are probably a smaller minority than Muslims.

A Florida man who broke into a mosque and smashed windows and lights with a machete — and then left bacon at the scene — was sentenced to 15 years in prison this week.
Michael Wolfe, of Titusville, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief to a place of worship on Tuesday. The sentence, which has a hate crime enhancement, will be followed by 15 years of probation, and Wolfe will not be allowed to visit the Islamic Society of Central Florida Masjid Al-Munin Mosque in Titusville, the Brevard and Seminole County state attorney’s office said.
“The Florida Muslim Community is suffering an unprecedented number of hate crimes,” Wilfredo Ruiz, a spokesman for Florida’s Council on American-Islamic Relations, said in a statement Wednesday. “Multiple mosques and Islamic institutions have been broken into, vandalized and even set on fire.”
Prosecutors told Florida Today the plea deal was reached after speaking with CAIR and Titusville police.

Bacon was left at the front door of the mosque, the Associated Press reported, and in Islam, consumption of pork or products made from it is forbidden.
“He entered a plea deal and pleaded guilty to vandalizing the mosque itself with hate crime enhancement, making it a felony,” said a spokesman for the State Attorney’s Office Todd Brown.

I can’t help but wonder what would have happened if he had done this to a church. I think it would have probably been a couple of years minimum security if he had attacked a largely white church.

Looking at this map I see the Dark and Light Green over most of Indonesia and wonder how those pockets of Yellow can exist as well as the Pink,Dark Red and Orange There is NO MODERATE ISLAM just islam. They all follow the Shariah as the excuse for evil and murder which is the end control as they take away all or any FREEDOMS.

wow, can’t help but wonder what life would be like around the globe if not for the sudden embracing, rewarding, coveting, securing of the barbaric, sub human islamic culture, religion and followers.
