At Least 16 Israelis Injured by Palestinian Rocket Attacks
Israel vowed a tough response to rocket attacks from Gaza terror groups, which erupted after an IDF mission on Sunday evening resulted in the death of a senior Hamas commander and an Israeli intelligence officer.

Monday evening capped off a day of intense rocket attacks mounted by Palestinian terror groups operating in the Gaza Strip.
The IDF reported that over 200 rockets had been fired from the coastal enclave, injuring at least 16 people, including a 19-year-old soldier who remained in critical condition.
One mortar exploded as it hit a bus, just moments after dozens of soldiers had exited it.
Gaza’s Hamas rulers and the smaller Islamic Jihad group both took credit for the rocket barrage, which rained down on Israel’s south on Monday.
Israel’s military said it was prepared to step up its efforts against terrorists in the Gaza Strip if rocket fire continues, and by early Monday evening the IDF hit terrorist positions in the strip in around 30 strikes.
Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus, a military spokesman, said Monday that Israel has boosted forces near the Gaza border with additional infantry troops, defensive systems and intelligence units.
Conricus told reporters that the army has so far struck more than 30 targets belonging to the Palestinian terror groups, warning that Hamas is “bringing destruction upon the Gaza Strip.”
Earlier in the day, Palestinian health officials claimed Israeli airstrikes in the northern Gaza Strip killed two people and wounded another three.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was slated to meet with his military chief and defense minister late Monday.

The Israelis don’t fight to win and silence the attacks for good. They warn of coming attacks first. You have to kill people to stop the attacks. War is simple. Kill the enemy. Judaism is against this and so they can’t ever win.

This is clearly presented as the terrorist work of Hamas, the government of Gaza. If Gaza is an enemy state that promotes terror and hides behind their own civilians and have made hospitals and schools into legitimate military targets. THEY are to blame for the ensuing and (richly deserved) slaughter of their own people by the rules of war.

This is true legally as well – but the general staff of the IDF, and the Netanyahu government itself seem to have lost sight of a winning strategy in Gaza.
Jut days after the government allowed the delivery of fifteen-million dollars into Gaza, Hamas killed an IDF lieutenant-colonel and fired several hundred rockets into Israel.
No doubt Qatar and the Israelis are already working on a new “aid package,” but I’m afraid they have focused inordinately on the carrot, and not enough on the stick – at great detriment.

I echo other people’s sentiment here. This is a war and you only win when you defeat your enemies which means wipe them out so they can never retaliate again. If other nations or groups jump to your enemy’s defense, then they are at war against you also and deserve to be attacked also.
Don’t forget that war isn’t just bombs and guns, it’s ideas, lies, it’s hatred-all of these things have the same goal in mind, Israel’s destruction. The BDS movement are your enemies, the anti-semites are also just as culpable as Hamas, they don’t lob rocks and missiles but they lob vitriol and seek to delegitimize your state.
Israel tried being nice for decades and decades and failed. They warned terrorists before they attacked, they demolished homes instead of the terrorists, so obviously they’re just going to keep fighting against you, that’s their whole goal. Why not try something different Israel? Try fighting a real war where you win and they lose—-everything.

Someone close to me just came back from there after a two week stay, she was close to mental breakdown.
And what is so odd is that her own parent, and sibling are against the US President, they’re the opposite political party.

When will Israel learn that it is possible to tame wild beasts with kindness, but impossible to tame human beasts without recourse to military might. Israel should never have ceded Gaza to the Palestinians. The time has come to retake it by firepower before Hamas invades Israel and slaughters thousands of Israeli citizens.
