Armed Migrants in Caravan Opened Fire on Mexican Cops, Say Authorities
Breitbart, October 30, 2018:
Mexican authorities arrested two Hondurans who allegedly shot at federal police officers escorting the migrant caravan across the southern state of Chiapas. The attack follows shortly after government warnings about Molotov cocktail attacks around a second caravan near the border with Guatemala.
The attack took place near Ignacio Zaragoza, Chiapas, when members of Mexico’s Federal Police were escorting the migrant caravan as part of “Operativo Caminante” or “Operation Walker” across the southern border state. According to Mexico’s Interior Secretariat, two men identified only as 22-year-old “Jerson” and 17-year-old “Carlos” spotted the group of police officers guarding the caravan and began firing at them.
Story continues below advertisementThe attackers’ pistol jammed, allowing police officers to arrest them without any injuries. Federal authorities seized a .380 caliber Glock with nine rounds still in the magazine.
The attack came soon after Mexican authorities issued a warning about migrants in Guatemala who were preparing Molotov cocktails and acquiring firearms to use against police officers in their attempts to break through the border to Mexico. Over the weekend, several clashes occurred where migrants threw rocks and used various makeshift weapons against border security forces.

They were here long before Reagan was President. In 1985 I worked in LA on a job, building a parking garage and office building above it. I was one of about 6 guys on the laborers crew who weren’t Mexican/Hispanic. The Spanish speakers used to taunt us with, “we illegals, what you gonna do about it”?
They had been in LA for 9 years. Means they came in, in 1976! One of them was from El Salvador. he sent half his weekly pay check back to family in San Salvador.
The reason these caravans have formed is because they feel strong enough to come en masse since there are already millions of them here. They haven’t been stopped yet, so what is there to make them think they will be?
The time to build a strong border barrier/fence and wall was decades ago. Perhaps it can be done now, but, I believe it will take a violent confrontation in the US and perhaps in to Mexico and Central America to do it. The forces wanting an Open Border are very entrenched and strong. I don’t think many average Americans know how much so they are.

There are less than a handful of women and children. In fact, many of the migrants, when they learned what the caravans were doing, and planned to do, turned around and went back home to their own countries.

To build the wall, all we need is a new Congress that will fund it.
These migrant caravans were organized, funded, and sent to our borders. Some of the money for their food, shelter, and travel expenses came from USAID. Shortly after a democrat senator sent “supplies” to the caravans, they suddenly became armed.

Remember when “common sense” gun control was aimed, for the most part, at handguns. Who needs a handgun? We need to get “Saturday Night Specials” off of the streets.
As more and more Americans purchased handguns … that was dropped and they started going after “Those Scary Black Guns”.
One drop at a time. I have a legal “boom stick” (sawed off shotgun). Two to be exact. It’s a one time check, per firearm, to Treasury. It must be firearm specific. Get your hands on an old side by side (pumps and semi-autos) don’t cut down nearly as short as a break action. Fill out the form, inclusive of firearm’s serial number. Wait around ten months (an acquaintance of mine’s took almost sixteen months), get approval and licensure … slice and dice … customize to your heart’s content. It’s a one time fee, no big deal. And, wallah …. Boom Stick.

Since you’re well under the eighteen inch limit, for a shotgun barrel, do you have you Treasury stamp? We want to keep it legal, don’t we? What’s the total length? The receiver length of an auto-loader, like a Saiga, makes ’em still pretty long. Gitcherself a break action, cut the butt stock off, to a nice pistol grip and cut the barrel back to the fore end … That’s almost an EDC.

Cutting the barrel down to 10″ robbed so much backpressure that it would initially only function semi auto with 3″ mag shells, which didn’t allow me to use the drum, (it only accepts 2 3/4″ shells)–My new fav gunsmith actually found a way to make it function correctly, 10 years after I had it built. Now if it had a bolt hold open it would be better.
I do still think the 1919 is gonna be my primary weapon, but I don’t suppose any ammo belt can last forever

My 1919 is, I put a crank on it, so it fires 8 rounds per revolution on the crank, about 400 rpm–It was an Israeli buyback gun

Remind me that when SHTF not to attempt storming your household. The first time that I ever saw a “crank” (it looked somewhat like a pencil sharpener) was at a gun show, in the very early eighties. Ruger 10/22 was a very popular plinker and they’d come out with some high capacity magazines, 30 rounds and 50 rounds, everyone called them “banana clips”. A few tables had those cranks, very reasonably priced. A friend of mine picked a couple up and several “banana clips”. We took his 10/22 out … that was inexpensive fun …. a real hoot.

Cannot blame no-fault divorce on a governor or president. That’s a legislative move. I consider the mistakes of amnesty and raising self-employment tax to 15.3% from dollar one …. Remember, the “Greatest Generation” was paying only 2%, until 1968 when it was raised to 2.5%. My 15.3 went to them. I don’t know which was worse … stealing from children and grandchildren to pay his generation … or starting the avalanche of illegal aliens … The Invasion of the Welfare Snatchers.

Reagan also signed the 86 nfa act, restricting sales to citizens of F/A weapons to 86 & older only–the only amendment that says “Shall not be infringed” is also the most infringed upon

My worship is for God, not Ronald Reagan, and he was far from perfect. That said, some people in the know say that Bush senior was actually running the show after Reagan was shot. Knowing how skilled and equipped the enemies of mankind really are, it would not entirely surprise me if Reagan was being somewhat controlled via medications, mind control technology, the result of what information he was allowed to get, or all of the above. But you are right that his Presidency was far less beneficial than what has been touted. And I agree that not making idols of anybody or anything is a strong help in discernment.

You made some fine points about GHW Bush. He was CIA director before Vice President. He was and is a full-fledged internationalist. Member Skull and Bones (good standing). Also before the 1980 election, Chaplain Lindsey Williams revealed a story that Reagan had been threatened – if he did not choose Bush, he would not be elected President.

I agree. Reagan wasn’t the only one. Lyndon B. Johnson was upset that JFK didn’t want the cubans on the Mariel boat to come here. Castro had opened his jails and freed his most violent criminals, put them in the boat, and sent them to the USA. There was a standoff and the media went frantic saying we were on the verge of war with Cuba.

I have the Springfield Armory XDM 4.5, in 45 ACP strapped on me, as I type. Hard to rack, for the first few hundred rounds or so, but it’s one straight shootin’ sucker.

I have the 27 for concealed carry and a 35 which I modified for practical pistol competition. It has a stainless steel barrel and law enforcement trigger job I installed. Never a problem with either of them.

I like that Springfield guns generally have a grip safety–I saw a guy who was shooting reloads in his new XDM when his gun blew up–the loaded chamber indicator blew out and wound up ricocheting off his forehead–much blood & Springfield wouldn’t warranty repair his gun either

XDM or XDS? Either way …. Maybe I’ll go back to one of my Glocks. Although, they’re both 9mm. I like my XDM 4.5, as it’s one of the few .45 ACPs that I’ve been able accurately punch paper. I’m an absolute disaster with a 1911.

US: Grounds?
Invader: (choices) opportunity, crime, jobs, safety, avoiding gangs.
US: REJECTED! Those are NOT conditions for asylum – BYE!
Process them so there is a record and send them back. Hopefully they have to WALK BACK.
MEXICO is the first country offering asylum and you rejected the FIRST country you came to.
It’s no longer an asylum claim.
Invader: Government persecution.
US: Evidence?
Invader: I don’t have any. (They won’t have any.)
US: BYE – process them and send them back.
You do NOT have to BELIEVE the invader even if they try the “credible fear” crap.
If they don’t come to a port of entry and crash the border – you broke a LAW
BYE – catch them process them and – go home!
If they have kids, and want to “abandon” them we are stuck with them – THE LAW!
An adult will do this with the hope of later getting chain migration through them.
If a pregnant one gives birth – they have an anchor baby and things may get complicated. I don’t know how they would handle that. My guess is they will house them in tents as they are processed and I hope NO anti-American immigration attorneys are there to LIE for them.
