IG Report Eerily Reminiscent of Comey’s Exoneration of Hillary; Long List of Violations, Yet None Affected Key Decisions of Case

47

The long-awaited DOJ Inspector General (IG) report concludes that, although many FBI officials “exhibited inappropriate hostility and political opposition to then-candidate Donald Trump,” their biases did not harm the integrity of the investigation.

The report is oddly reminiscent of Comey’s Hillary Clinton exoneration statement. It lists numerous violations of standard DOJ/FBI operating practices in their investigation, yet the IG concludes that none of them affected the core judgement of top officials.

The IG excused one wrongful act after another in this stunning report. Allegations were made, and then dismissed, due to the lack of evidence connecting specific allegations to the key decisions of the case.

Story continues below advertisement

“Death by a thousand eighths” is a Wall Street expression, which refers to a stock losing 1/8 of a point in value each day over a long period of time. Eventually, an investor has a major loss on their hands. But it happens so slowly, and the loss per day is so small, that the investor remains in the position believing the price will turn around. One day, the investor must face the facts and take the loss.

Similarly, there were so many small, and not so small, pieces of evidence of intentional wrongdoing on the part of DOJ/FBI officials in the handling of this case and together, they add up to an enormous case against them. Yet somehow, the IG looks at each one separately and finds that none of them affected the outcome of the case.

Sean Hannity breaks it all down in his Thursday night opening monologue (please see video below). His key takeaway is that the IG report is a “swamp document. And the swamp always protects the swamp.”

He reminds us that “the facts of this case are not in dispute. The evidence is overwhelming and incontrovertible.” He outlines the facts below:

1. Hillary violated the espionage act.

2. She mishandled and destroyed classified, top-secret, special access information.

3. She deleted 33,000 subpoenaed emails.

4. She acid-washed her hard drive with Bleach Bit so they couldn’t retrieve the subpoenaed emails. She had her aides destroy her mobile devices with hammers.

It sure looks like criminal behavior to me.

Kristian Saucier, who I wrote about here, (recently pardoned by Trump) spent a year in prison for taking several photos of the classified section of the submarine he was working on. He is preparing to sue the DOJ, James Comey, and former President Obama for unequal treatment under the law. He claims, correctly, that a two-tier justice system exists in the U.S. The conclusions of the IG report prove this.

The full IG report can be read here.

The report includes evidence that the DOJ withheld from Congress such as newly revealed text exchanges between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

Page: “[Trump’s] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!”

Strzok: “No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it.”

The following is only a partial list of other noteworthy takeaways from the report:

1. James Comey is attacked for writing a letter to notify Congress that the FBI was reopening the email case against Hillary 11 days before the election.

2. Unsurprisingly, Comey was attacked for issuing his Hillary exoneration statement without speaking to his superior, then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and other acts of insubordination.

3. Comey’s July 2016 exoneration statement said it was “possible” that Hillary’s emails were hacked by a foreign actor. The IG report said the email accounts of her aides were “definitely” hacked and allowed hostile foreign actors access to her emails.

4. The report states that Comey “used a personal email account to conduct unclassified FBI business” and that he did so in circumstances that were “inconsistent with Department policy.” The report also says that Strzok and Page used personal email accounts to conduct FBI business as well.

5. Barack Obama was one of 13 individuals who communicated with Hillary on her private email account.

6. Loretta Lynch was attacked for meeting with Bill Clinton on the tarmac in Phoenix days before Hillary’s exoneration. Bill Clinton last night said he was “offended” by this criticism. Bill, please!

7. The report criticizes Loretta Lynch and then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates for being “excessively passive in asserting their own authority. Faced with an FBI director whose modus operandi was to make important decisions on his own authority and dare his superiors to order him to stop, they consistently failed to take that action. If Comey’s behavior in July 2016 was insubordination, they tolerated it. And if his October letter was bad judgment, they didn’t try to stop him.”

I have a question for IG Horowitz: At what point do all of these so called improprieties, errors in judgement, miscommunications and minor violations of standard operating procedure, taken together, amount to a rigged outcome?

the whole world knows this report is BS, and it just drives another spike into the coffin of the silly notion that the federal government works for the american people. the swampers have no clue how much they are loathed, and how much closer the productive half of america is coming to just burning DC to the ground or cheering on one of our foreign enemies to do it for us

Agree.

Clinton mafia still active after Trump takeover as they kill another witness

They know their hold overs in FBI / DOJ /NSC will help them out !

Unless they are totally purged including Left/Liberal judges
to keep out their bias …its uphill task to prosecute them.

There was a documents put out in the eighties from a saudi that stated how to distroy America from within. Education, healthcare, and local government, and unions were just some of the areas named best to infiltrate. Obama was a conduit for our long road down that slippery slope. They knew at the time they couldn’t beat outr military. Obama even tried to distroy that.

After this I’d NEVER EVER trust the FBI, CIA or any other federal government investigative arm. What they don’t seem to understand is that JUSTICE needs to be served for people to have any confidence in them. LAWS were broken here.

I had an uncle in the FBI during WWII who was part of Einstein’s protection detail. There isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that he would have been part of this type of poitical corruption. What we are seeing right now is Obhammud’s legacy.

After the original investigation of Clinton, the FBI agents involved in the investigation, anonymously said they were shocked and mad that Comey exonerated Hillary.

Imagine their shock and anger when Comey floated the excuse that he drug his feet investigating the classified messages on Anthony Weiner’s laptop because he was unaware he was married to Clinton aide Huma Abedin, probably the only person in the Western Hemisphere that didn’t know that.

The Sargent in arms should have arrested Louis Turner for the IRS targeting conservatives and contempt. Remember that? That wasn’t done either. What did Sessions do? He told them to not do that again. They were naughty. So those doing it retired on a FAT PENSION that we paid for with tax dollars. The swamp sat back and let it happen.

It is exactly like Comey’s cover up. Dry language used to obfuscate the truth. In this case, Horowitz is excusing the entire FBI/DOJ from being a tool of the Democratic Party with no level of corruption deserving of concern.
And remember this: The FBI knew to a man, every single agent, that Hillary Clinton was absolutely corrupt, not just in politics, but in petty and very serious crimes, yet still chose to support her.

All the negotiations and delays we heard about were likely over the Executive Summary, which is a press release/talking point for the corrupt, collaborator mainstream media something to obfuscate the whole issue with.
Calling Comey “insubordinate” is another huge cover-up mechanism (since we know Lynch told him to “call it a matter”) inasmuch as it builds a firewall between Comey and the sinister Svengali and most-ignominious traitor at the epicenter of all that is sick in our politics, media and Federal Law Enforcement today — imam obama.

CORRUPTION WITHOUT FEAR OF CONSEQUENCES…This report was negotiated down to where it appears official and complete to most of the public, and like Vaughn observed that similar to Comey’s recommendation regarding Hillary, this listed all the facts supporting criminal prosecution followed by a recommendation of no action. Like Hillary’s case the public knew enough facts that some had to be admitted on the record without admitting anything more. Comey like Hillary knew that they are protected from criminal prosecution. If there is any prosecution regarding the revealed pervasive govt corruption from our chief law enforcement agencies, it will fall only on someone they think is expendable, and then only for appearances, but the main lesson intended for the rest of us is that they have unlimited power. Nothing makes it more obvious than targeting some with the lying to the FBI rap or perjury indictment, while the protected flaunt their lies under oath or to FBI investigators with impunity.

Its not over until its over. Undoubtedly, the FBI and the DOJ will continuing stalling until the November election hoping democrats will knock out Nunes. Hopefully, Nunes stays in the House and continues his push to reveal the corruption.

“How can she live with herself?” The Bible refers to it as ‘seared conscience.’ In other words, she has a conscience but it no longer works. Indeed that is, exactly, what evil does to the human soul.

This is one of the principal reasons once-great empires fall: Legalized lawlessness and crippling corruption…They collapse under their own weight of irredeemable evil and utter wickedness.

I, often, wonder who will ultimately be responsible for our downfall and destruction: Islam, our other enemies (and they are legion) or ourselves. Think about it.

The entirety of our swamp government needs to be expunged from power. This would be a bipartisan effort as both parties are represented in this morass. We need to get rid of the criminals who are presently running the major departments (especially Justice and the Inspector General. The shadow government, presently running the country, is a BS operation all the way…they have no concern, whatsoever, for the Constitution. Their every thought is toward keeping themselves in power. By allowing this, the people are setting themselves up to lose everything.

Asked how the interview with Clinton’s IT tech went, Agent 1 responded, “Awesome. Lied his ass off…aint noone gonna do sh*t”

There is strong evidence contained in the OIG’s report that shows the Agents involved in the HRC email case knew people were lying and they also believed no one would be prosecuted.

The IG report presented the facts very well, but was very disappointing in its conclusions and that it did not recommend any prosecutions or any consequences at all for the many violations of law it uncovered. The conclusions of the report are not supported by the facts uncovered. One unavoidable conclusion is that the Hillary email investigation (as well as many others) needs to be re-opened and this time conducted correctly, since the first one was inept and clearly its purpose was only to cover up. The deep state is also widespread within the Republican side of the aisle. It is going to be a very hard fight to retake this country and MAGA. It will take all of us deplorables!
