There are a number of anomalies about this case. First and foremost is the fact that, as you can see in the video, there is a man standing right next to the toddler who is dangling from the balcony. Why doesn’t he save the child? Instead, he stands there and watches as Mamoudou Gassama scales the side of the building and saves the toddler himself. Was the whole event staged to give France a Muslim hero? Certainly in the wake of this event, the international media was full of people saying that Mamoudou Gassama should change people’s opinions of Muslims. It was an odd statement to make. We’re constantly admonished, after every jihad massacre and every jihad plot, that we should not draw any conclusions about Muslims from this incident, and that to do so would be “racist” and “islamofauxbic.” But one Muslim does something heroic (if he really did), and suddenly we’re supposed to generalize about Muslims? The whole thing is questionable in the extreme.

A Malian migrant hailed a national hero for scaling a building to save a four-year old dangling from a fourth-floor balcony in Paris is to be granted French nationality and given a job as a fireman.
A video of Mamoudou Gassama’s spectacular rescue went viral on social media and has been viewed millions of times.
With a crowd below cheering him on from the street, the migrant pulled himself from balcony to balcony at risk of life and limb, and managed to grab the four-year-old as a neighbour unsuccessfully tried to reach the boy from the nearest flat.
President Emmanuel Macron invited Mr Gassama to the Elysee Palace on Monday morning to personally thank him. During their filmed conversation, Mr Gassama said that he was trembling like a leaf after his courageous act.
Afterwards, Mr Macron announced that he would be granted French citizenship and join the French fire brigade.
Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo also lauded the 22-year-old’s heroism, and said she had called him to thank him in person.
She hailed him as the “Spiderman of the 18th”, a reference to the Paris district where the rescue took place.
“Congratulations to Mamoudou Gassama for his act of bravery that saved the life of a child,” Ms Hidalgo tweeted.
“He explained to me that he had arrived from Mali a few months ago dreaming of building his life here.
“I replied that his heroic gesture was an example for all citizens and that the City of Paris will obviously be keen to support him in his efforts to settle in France.”
Hinting that he could expect a fast track to residency, government spokesman Benjamin Griveaux tweeted: “This huge act of bravery, faithful to the values of solidarity of our Republic, must open the doors to our national community.”
A petition has been launched online.
Rights group SOS Racisme said: “Mamoudou Gassama serves as a useful reminder to us that people without papers are human beings with…great bravery that many have shown in their perilous journey to Europe – bravery that they often continue to display here.”…

The only thing that I find strange about this story is why didn’t the man standing on the adjacent balcony lean over and grab the baby. It looked like he could have easily done so.

The boy is reachable by his right hand ..but not his left hand ..and with his half body position there is a risk he will be pulled of the fence ..

You know, you could be right. I thought it was funny the guy next to the kid and couldn’t reach him. But upon what you said, and I should have known.
It’s a SETUP, all right.
And after they even said the child fell a couple of stories before latching on the balcony. THAT, I did not believe.
But one thing did bother me and I should have paid attention to my hunch is that, NO NEGRO would EVER do that, because Negroes don’t usually do that. They usually gawk and wait till a brave white guy comes along.
That kind of did bother me, and I thought it might be the exception. Still, I give him credit for climbing 4 stories.

Nobody seems to get my point. I only comment on the stories.
They are exceptions to every rule it seems. I heard of a story of an Asian guy getting wounded and stuck on the battlefield in Vietnam. All other soldiers wouldn’t go back and get the guy.
A Negro man was the only one to go back and get him on his own volition.. Today, they are lifelong friends.

That’s ok. In about three, or four years, Mr. Gassama will probably be in the news again. The next time for attacking his fellow firefighters for ‘no apparent reason.’
I’m sure the Paris mayor and the president will stumble over each other at that time to defend him. ‘Why, it must have been the job, the economy, our handling of his case, the lack of love for muslims in France, the blue sky that made him ‘go off’ like that’ they’ll say. ANYTHING…..but the obvious.

The one thing that bothered me – but I could be forgiven if I missed the perspective from the camera’s eye – was that man that seemed SO close to being able to grab the boy and save him! Set up or not (and I’m 50-50 on that verdict!), the African migrant was quite an athlete, but whether or not it was a set up or genuine bravery, will we ever know?

This was absolutely staged. There is no way a little kid could hold on that long. People are even claiming he fell two stories and managed to grab on. A full grown woman couldn’t do that and even a man would have a hard time holding on that long, esp. if he fell first. People need to think.

Benjamin Franklin said it best, “Don’t believe anything you hear and only half of what you see.” The guy standing next to the child at the outset is a dead giveaway it is a fraud. That, and the cover story that the toddler’s father was preoccupied playing video games. Nice try.

It is obvious that the resident was able to save the child there was no need for climbing. Also how can asamll child get into that position and and have th arm strength hang on for so long?

Having had another good look at the video the whole thing does look a little dodgy. It reminds me on the stunts in Germany when all of a sudden Muslims were finding large amounts of money all over the country and always bravely handing them in to the police where by ‘coincident’ there was always a reporter present to video the incident. A spate of few ‘brave rescue’ stories did also happen. There have not been incidents like that for a long time, maybe it became a little bit too obvious. Perhaps there will be a few more ‘miracle rescues’ coming up in Paris.

Michael Jackson was rightly condemned for holding a child over a balcony, yet this obvious stunt is applauded to change the perception of Muslim immigration? Another message implicit in this video no one has mentioned is, French citizens are not necessarily safe in high-rise buildings, because some Muslim immigrants have the ability to scale your balcony. Maybe that’s the real message. Secularist globalist liberals in America and Europe now brazenly threaten to behead us intellectually ( silencing us) if we protest the Muslim-Islam threat to behead us physically, if we don’t submit? Obviously, they are now willing to lie for them.
