Yesterday, the Geller Report sustained a significant cyber attack. The site was down for 24 hours and continues to experience spotty outages. My IT team has been working furiously to get back up and running smoothly. The costs associated with these attacks are substantial.
The attack penetrated GR’s significant security protocols and firewalls already in place. We are still experiencing back-end difficulties and technical problems. Please bear with us.
IT expertise, cyber-security, bandwidth etc are staggering. We need your help. If you believe in the work we are doing, contribute here.

This week, Mark Zuckerberg bold-faced lied testifying before House and Senate committees when asked if conservative voices were being targeted for censorship. It’s war in the information battle-space. War.

Site cracking were for curiosity sake, never for any political purpose
Defacing sites were for childish ‘I’m here’ purpose. Not my style

Its Ddos attack.
If GR is using wordpress , security can be provided for lot less than regular Html websites. I know of guys who do it with 24/7 monitoring and websites never go down .

WordPress is not secure. The malware that Seth Rich used to hack the DNC server was injected through WordPress. He was able to copy all those emails to a disk drive he purchased of $56.

wordpress has nothing to do with emails so stop making up stories.
wordpress / your PC /html websites are as secure as the person/team managing its security.
If you do not understand the measures to take to secure /monitor it on an ongoing basis it will naturally be not secure.

The hacker used a browser infected with the virus. The browser accessed the WordPress application and the file containing the virus was saved in the server directory. The hacker then opened the file with the browser. The app that opened asked for the password. Given the password it executed some PHP malware that unpacked and installed the files. The hacker was given access to the email files and something like an FTP was used to copy the email file to a local disk drive.
The security on the DNC server hadn’t installed the needed patches to WordPress to prevent this virus. There were several variants to this virus but the one that was used was 2 years old and was supposedly compiled in Ukraine.
This information was provided by CrowdStrike who did the forensics. CrowdStrike was formed by Eric Schmidt of ABC Corp who was the parent of Google. CrowdStrike set up the DNC server with the help from some Google engineers so their results are in question.

Browser cannot access wordpress to install virus on server. If it was so easy you’d not need hackers.
hackers need to breach username/password to get in to install virus/spyware/malware.
Another way is to install plugin that gives others access to server side install. It can be done only by admin or hacker who has already hacked.

Those sites were hacked . weak password is one of the reason.
Plus they do not have regular scans to alert malware changes alert installed.

I find it strange how disqus on this website is far more user friendly than on Breitbart.. I usually get ‘pinged’ 2 or 3 times a week sometimes, daily…Phonetics works well.. The Al Gore rhythm is not picking up on that. Neither if you use more complex words…eg say defecate, or excrement instead of s**t and you will get a pass…However they do pick up on symbols, so if you use $ instead S that will be picked up..Definitely NO TEXT SPEECH.. That’s the first thing picked up..
Just a few things to pass on, every little tip helps in this battle of the internet..

DOS attacks, they hit all right wing sites. I come over here daily from Whatfinger News, and they put up a notice to be patient with your links that said
“The Geller Report is being hit with a DOS attack and are taking measures to counter, please allow 5 seconds extra to load link.”
These attacks only show that they are weak. And you are right!

This site is already hacked. I keep getting popups with videos depicting loony left snowflake Hollywood actresses in various stages of undress. These damned videos are not authorised by myself and are sucking away my data allowance big time. Who knows what virus payload they contain? Soon I shall abandon browsing here.
