What was Harrison’s crime? He called for Islam not to be taught in public schools, just the way Christianity and Judaism and other religions aren’t. We have seen over the years many, many examples of Islam being taught as fact in American public schools. Why should Tom Harrison or anyone else have to apologize or be recalled for standing against that? These are not Islamic schools. The removal of Harrison from office sets an extremely bad precedent. It is becoming increasingly clear: say the slightest word against jihad and Islamization, and you will be destroyed. No quarter, no mercy. And so jihad and Islamization will continue to advance.

A recall petition against a Plano city councilman got well over the minimum number of required signatures.

Harrison apologized but has refused to resign. The city council voted to censure him in February.
The petition needed 2,800 signatures and got 4,400. Some community members are calling on him again to resign instead of making them force him out.
“Mr. Harrison, wherever you are, you have apologized for your hurtful words but you do not accept or acknowledge the consequences that comes with those hateful words. We cannot accept your apology when your apology puts your interest ahead of ours,” said Ann Bacchus, who was involved in the petition drive. “Plano has made it clear that Tom Harrison is not the kind of leader that we want representing us.”…

The Plano leftists behind this are in great part recent additions from out of state who came for the jobs and brought their politics with them. Now they’re virtue-signaling in this mid-size suburb of Dallas where muzzrats have taken hold. They‘ve already built three mosks and no doubt more are coming. Their women are sometimes out in public in their garbage bags, three steps behind their men with 3-5 or more junior rats in tow. But no mosks and not a single muzzrat to be seen on the streets or in the shops of the Park Cities part of Dallas where the real money lives.

I’ve seen them in Farmers Branch and Richardson, two of many cities in DFW.
When the FBI made this bust, there were also reports that the FBI made this bust based on pressure from ISRAEL. Israel was trying to find out how terrorists were being funded and their investigation led them to the HLF. I can see Israel making a big stink about it to the US gov’t behind close doors to get the FBI to make the bust. This kind of interference/help from foreign countries like Israel doesn’t bother me too much.

This is ironic, since it was Arabs who invented the Black African slave-trade; the proof is painted on the walls of ancient Egyptian tombs. The advent of Islam only made African slaving more lucrative. The greatest slave-maker of the 19th century was an Arab named Tippoo Tib (sp?), who was personally responsible for attacking African villages and enslaving all the inhabitants, to the tune of more than 100,000 Black slaves in his lifetime. Somehow, school history books fail to mention that.

That is because schools don’t teach about the monetary or cultural issues involved in slavery. Any endeavor that is profitable is used whether it be legal or ethical, ie the drug trade, slavery, prostitution, etc.

Whatever the nuances about whether he singled out islam or not, his point was that religion should not be taught as fact, and this goes back to the whole Darwin/Intelligent Design debate, which brings us to the way islam is now regarded as a special case.

Try for an “omnibus” approach, where everywhere islam is taught, then Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism or other alternatives are also given mandatory equal status as it is illegal to have one religion favoured or disparaged.

That would be the ideal world but we know it doesn’t work like that in the U.S..
Thank God, my kids are grown and Bible based Christians, however if I was younger, I would NOT want my kids being taught other religions. My kids attended a Christian school. There they compared and contrasted other religions for what they really are. I would never trust a public school system to do that. The left owns academia and they are as anti-Christian as you can get.
Even if a teacher starts out sincerely wanting to make a difference in the public school system, they quickly realize to do the minimum and go with the lefty agenda if they are to get good increases and get TENURE – a job for life. So they corrupt the good ones with fit in or else.
BTW, we aren’t “rich”. We struggled and just made it happen. Looking back it was the wisest investment we ever made. My family is my joy on earth.

Children are being turned LGBT and ‘trans’ people are being made ubiquitous by their presence for the purpose of forcing school districts to rearrange all social norms to suit them to the exclusion of all else, and claim it’s about “inclusiveness.” We saw the damage they’ve done already to North Carolina.
This factor also explains exactly why the 26th Amendment should be abolished and the voting age be raised to a minimum of 26.

I admit I’m surprised that Christianity isn’t taught in American schools, I think it should be because Christian belief
came over with the pilgrims on the Mayflower and despite many mistakes through the years and liberties taken with it, was a central belief in forming the liberal, tolerant enlightened society which we see today with all the trophies of achievement glittering in the trophy cabinet for those less gifted or blessed to wonder at .
What puzzles me is how anyone in a first world country like America with such achievements as putting a man on the moon can seriously entertain for a moment teaching children that the world is flat and that the sun goes around us.
Teaching the truth of the achievements and many merits of Christian world societies must be a counter to the taught hate which upholds Islamic theocracy, keen students can learn about that later in their own time in some “enriched” inner city area.
Perhaps such people concerned about the sayings of Mr Harrison, constrained as they are by cringing PC blank stupidity could be invited to a hall where they’re given the chance to defend the indefensible in an informed open debate.
The “key” word here is informed. I would suggest we’ve all heard enough of the other sort.

I worked a few years ago as a receptionist/registrar in an AZ middle school. I flipped through a social studies text book one day and was appalled by a whole chapter devoted to the glorious contributions of Islam. No chapter devoted to the Judeo Christian foundation of Western Civilization, (which actually requires two semesters in college). No mention that Western Civilization’s growth resulted in the elevation of individual liberty. The text books need to be chosen more carefully. Howard Zinn and his ilk have spread anti American bile in our children’s curriculum for too long.

Likewise, it is mandatory in some states (namely California) to indoctrinate children into the LGBT lifestyle, and even set them up to be converted to homosexuality and especially transgenderism. And then people wonder why the West will ultimately (and sadly) fall to Islam. No people so weakened and softened in this way can defend society against such an invasion. If the people were that decadent and debauched at the time of WWII, we’d all be speaking German on the East Coast and Japanese on the West Coast, and quite a few of our population would have been turned into lampshades.

Islam uses our public schools in Ontario as mosques every Friday. I have spoken to and written to my school board trustee and my Member of Parliament. All to no avail. They have no idea what is being taught in our schools and don’t care as lefties. The boys and girls are kept separate totally against our Human Rights Act and their prayers call for the defeat of the infidels (us).

If the schools are available for use by other faiths, but other faiths choose not to take it up, that’s not the school’s fault. The use of schools as mosques is separate from their educational use as the mosque use isn’t part of the curriculum. I’m not sure anything can be done without violating the Charter.

I had discussed this before about initially how 14 of Ontario’s schools are being used as mosques, totally against Ontario’s and our school boards Human Rights Acts. My former trustee Gerri Gershon would not do anything about it when I communicated my concern. The boys sit at the front separated from the girls by tables in the cafeteria taken over and restricted to only muslims every Friday. Menstruating girls are “unclean” and must stand at the back. What does this teach these kids, surely not equality and Canadian values.
The Human Rights Act:
1. The need to guard against religious indoctrination/coercion;
2. The need to accommodate religious practices/beliefs without endorsing or sanctioning any in particular or favoring some over others;
3. The role of schools as institutions that promote a variety of societal goals including tolerance and respect, the promotion of equality (including gender equality), and the prevention of discrimination against marginalized groups;
4. The educational opportunities that arise in different accommodation contexts; and
5. Respect for the rights of the child and the rights that students have to participate in their own education.
The Brampton mayor, Linda Jeffrey, and local school boards are doing exactly what Wynne and the federal Liberals are doing. Anyone who dares to challenge growing muslim influence is deemed a racist, bigot and islamophobic (a word created by the muslim brotherhood). These boards refuse to question what is in those prayers and have the Arabic translated. Early restrictions have now been removed. Tarek Fatah, a muslim writer in the Toronto Sun warns against what these prayers both in our schools and in every mosque across Canada say.

I don’t know how things are taught in Texas, but in New York, religion and social studies are hopelessly intertwined and thus taught together. You can’t teach history without teaching religion.

An end to Muslim immigration -as part of an immigration moratorium- and deporting and expelling Muslims is the only solution to this madness. And Muslims are only a small minority in the U.S. as opposed to Western Europe. But it wont’ happen, of course. Will the number of Muslims triple and quadruple when the U.S. is soon transformed by an invasion of legal and illegal aliens into a nonwhite-majority country.? Imagine the power they’ll have in 20-3o years and beyond even though they won’t be a majority as in the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, etc.

A few facts about Ms. Ann Bachus, the driving force behind the outrage against Mr. Tom Harrison.
Born in Guyana, she migrated, first to Canada, then on to California before settling in Plano, Texas.
She is presently campaigning for a seat on the Plano City council and demonizing Mr. Harrison for expressing an opinion shared by many in this country who are in opposition to the “Islamization of America”.
Given these facts, as well as finding no mention of Ms. Bachus becoming a citizen of this country. I have no choice other than to be suspect of her attempt to become involved in the government of Plano.
