On every September 11th we remember the horrific terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, and on the Pentagon in Washington DC. However, we must also never forget about the four Americans who were brutally killed in another terrorist attack on September 11, 2012, in Benghazi, Libya. May their memory be a blessing.

Story continues below advertisementFriday is not only a day for solemn memorials for the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks but it’s also the somber remembrance of the Benghazi attack that killed four Americans.
On Sept. 11, 2012, a mob armed with guns and grenades launched a fiery nightlong attack on a U.S. diplomatic outpost and a CIA annex in Libya.
U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens, U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith, and CIA contractors and former Navy SEALs Glen “Bub” Doherty and Tyrone Woods were killed when the compound was ambushed in a coordinated attack by the Islamic militant group Ansar al-Sharia.
Stevens was the first U.S. ambassador to be murdered by militants since 1979 when Adolph Dubs, ambassador to Afghanistan, was kidnapped and killed.
National security adviser Robert O’Brien said America will never forget this “outrage” and will continue to seek justice.
“Today, as America honors our 9/11/01 victims and heroes, we must also remember the sacrifice of four brave Americans – Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith and Tyrone Woods,” O’Brien said in a statement to Fox News. “Eight years ago today, they were killed senselessly in Benghazi, Libya, while serving our country. The U.S. will never forget this outrage and will not rest in our enduring efforts to bring justice to the perpetrators of this heinous attack.”

100% of the Benghazi attack was funded by Iran.
Obama / Hillary covered it up, because the US was forwarding weapons from Libya to rebels in Syria. Iran opposed that, because the rebels were attacking Iran’s puppet, President Assad. SO Iran funded the attack on the US Benghazi consulate, because the weapons were being shipped
from there.
Obama and Hillary did not want to anger Iran, because they were / are in cahoots with Iran. They did not want to be seen directly accusing Iran of the attack. SO they tried to conceal what really happened..

“By the summer of 2012, US intelligence and security officers in Benghazi and Tripoli warned their chain of command — including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens — that the Iranians were preparing a terrorist attack on the US compound in Benghazi.”
This is all well-documented by now.

So the muslum militiamen there were funded by Iran as far as arms and armaments. The arms used in the attack hardly reflected billions of dollars in Iranian riyal support. I also don’t see any proof they worked at the behest of Iran. The leader of the US muslum militiamen “allies” in Benghazi were able to call their opposition — in the midst of a firefight with same — via his cellphone — according to the author of 13 hours. So who were the “good” muslums in this scenario?

I’d like to see proof of this. From what I read of this attack by the mercs who survived it the attack was carried out by a local muslum militia and the weapons used were hardly high tech. The most high tech weapon employed was a mortar.

I highly recommend watching the movie 13 Hours. It is an excellent depiction of what happened on that infamous day and how those Americans were completely abandoned by the Obama administration.
Many things could have been done, but nothing was. They were literally thrown to the jackals.

The book is better because it has more info.
But what could’ve been done? Airstrikes would’ve probably killed many civilians as both compounds were located in civilian neighborhoods.
The “allied” militiamen were thought by the mercs to have known about the attack because the leader of the allied mercs had the cellphone number of the opposition leader on his phone.
