Judge denies emergency request to stop Trump’s Tulsa campaign rally due to coronavirus fears

A judge on Tuesday denied an emergency motion to stop President Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Saturday.
The decision came after local lawyers asked the court to block the event unless organizers agreed to take steps to adhere to the administration’s own social distancing recommendations to limit the spread of coronavirus. Paul DeMuro, one of the attorneys on the lawsuit trying to block the rally, said that — despite the emergency motion to block the rally being denied — the case will head to the state Supreme Court.“The lawsuit is still intact and moving forward,” DeMuro told CNN. “We will continue to fight in the Oklahoma Supreme Court.”Citing Tulsa health department statistics showing that the highest new coronavirus case count occurred this Monday, the lawyers are suing the parent company of the Bank of Oklahoma Center, the venue slated to host the rally, alleging “despite this alarming uptick in COVID-19 infections in Tulsa County, ASM Global plans to bring tens of thousands of people into an enclosed arena in downtown Tulsa for a political rally on June 20, 2020 … without putting precautions in place to prevent the spread of the virus.”
“As currently planned, the Rally will endanger not only the health of the guests in attendance, but the entire Tulsa community and any community to which the guests may afterward travel. If ASM Global moves forward with the Rally without adequate review, planning, training, protective equipment, and safeguards, cases of COVID-19—and the unavoidable attendant deaths—will rise,” the petition states.The rally would be Trump’s first major campaign event since the coronavirus pandemic shut down most of American life, and officials are expecting hundreds of thousands of supporters to attempt to attend. The Bank of Oklahoma Center holds about 20,000 people but the Trump campaign has claimed that more than 1 million individuals have made an online RSVP to attend, though it’s dubious how many actually plan on doing so.The Trump campaign declined to comment on the lawsuit.DeMuro told CNN that the decision to sue to stop the rally was not political.

The only thing that needs to be done is that the attendees break a few windows, assault a few innocent bystanders, steal everything that it is not locked down and burn a few buildings ….
Then, the one thousand (plus) medical “health experts” would be in full agreement with the rally.

let’s see….if you are worried about the virus hoax, don’t go? i haven’t seen any royal decree that attendance is mandatory. after 4 months of this nonsense, it has become obvious that these unconstitutional restrictions on our liberties only apply to non-democrat white people. let’s see what lefty neil gorsuch, who just gave trump and america the finger this week, does with this one

If the Globalist RINO Deep State had not been leaving the Southern Border wide open to every desperate illiterate beggar, paracite, criminal, rapist and cartel mule for the past thirty years — and letting them vote in every American election — we would be in a better position to extend the compassion we would like to the DACA illegals.

Let’s see, a rally that supposed to held this Sat. and its Thursday, unless the Supreme Court drops everything on their docket to hear the appeal which is not going to happen the left will just have to explode mentality because how can they stop a million plus peaceful people?

In 1969 the world was going through the Hong Kong Flu Pandemic. The stats for it are extremely similar to those for the current C-19 virus.
How we responded then : We went to Woodstock, and a lot of other places such as amusement parks and concerts across the nation. Nobody panicked, although some people voluntarily adopted face masks as a precaution.
How we responded now: Government Bureaucrats and in too many cases power mad elected officials, have attempted to lock down the country and put people out of work and out of business so eve when things “open back up” a lot of jobs have been permanently destroyed. That is, until a political movement blew up and people took to the streets en mass to protest the actions of a bad cop, which ANTIFA and their fellow travelers have taken advantage of to conduct organized mayhem, riot and looting.

If it weren’t using COVID as an excuse to block the rally the Dems would be claiming the numbers of attendees do not support their fake polls and therefore it should be shut down. And if there were an injuctions who wold enforce it? Would they call in ANTIFA?
