Another humiliating defeat for Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. PM Trudeau desperately wants Canada to have a seat on the pro-jihad UN Security Council, so that he could elevate his own personnel prestige. To ensure that Canada received this coveted seat, Trudeau viciously threw Canada’s longtime ally Israel under the bus. Yet despite Trudeau’s shameless pandering, Canada was still rejected in favor of Ireland and Norway. Under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Canada is a disgraceful joke!

Canada loses bid for UN Security Council seat despite Trudeau’s push

Canada on Wednesday lost out to two European countries for a seat on the United Nations Security Council, after Norway and Ireland were picked to join the U.N.’s powerful decision-making body instead.
Canada was passed over despite a strong push from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, according to The Associated Press.
The elections were reportedly held under unorthodox circumstances due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A two-thirds majority of 128 votes were required to win a seat. Norway received 130, Ireland got 128 votes and Canada was only able to pull in 108.
This marked Canada’s second consecutive defeat in a bid to win a seat, as the country will once again go home empty-handed.
Having a seat on the U.N. Security Council typically gives a nation a more powerful say in global affairs and allows it to be more involved when the organization is dealing with international threats.
The five permanent members of the Security Council are the United States, China, Russia, France and Britain. Having permanent status means a nation can exercise veto power over any substantial resolution.
Canadian Foreign Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne declined to speak with The AP, but said he’s proud of the country’s efforts over the past several years “to renew and strengthen many of our bilateral relations.”

UN Security Council seat would be a useless waste of time anyway. Canada would not have had veto rights, and without that, the seat is just a bla-bla fest.

It’s very difficult, when our Conservative Party doesn’t have a good strong leader like Steven Harper was. Our conservatives might as well be called Liberals, save for a couple of MPs, who are not allowed anywhere near the leadership “throne”. If it wasn’t for whimpy Andrew Sheer, the leader of Conservative party, (who might as well be Liberal according to his immigration and much of the economic policies), we would have kicked Justin the clown’s ass out of the Parliament hill in the last election easily. Tragicaly for us, patriotic Canadians, as things stand now, we don’t have a choice. If only Pierre Polievre got the leadership of Conservative party, you would see Canada back on the right course in the next ellections. It’s 3 more years to that day though. Pray for us, instead of accusing us. It’s easy to accuse, when you have Trump as an alternative to Dems. We, Canadians, presently do not have such luxury.

Justin Trudeau finagled the Canadian voters while fraternizing with the world’s nations with the worst human rights records. Red China, the EU, and the terror-sponsoring state Qatar, not to overlook others of the African continent.
His most underhanded and prejudicial decision was throwing the State of Israel under the bus for no reason but to gratify the copious anti-Israel lobby within the so-called United Nations. The latter of which is no more than a front for terror, the numerous anti-Israel countries.

Canada is losing it all very soon. People outside of Montreal are tiring of this man. He is dictatorial and his country is divided. Canada has two distinct cultures that do not blend well, and there is a lot of distrust.
On the one hand, Canada is more than Liberal when it comes to immigrants. But this yahoo gave $10 Million to a terrorist to make some sort of “amends” to him. Even in Canadian money, it is a lot of dollars the average Canadian has to pay because of his choice, and they can’t afford his largess.
