Twitter Takes Commands from Hard Left, Deplatforms @AmyMek for Telling the Truth About Islam

31

This is just the latest egregious suppression of a voice of freedom at Twitter. We are seeing an unprecedented erosion in our First Amendment rights, increasingly prohibiting the flow of ideas and free expression in the public square (social media). Run by left-wing self-possessed snowflakes, social media giants are indulging their worst autocratic impulses. And because they can, it is getting worse. “Absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

Having been one of the early targets of social media censorship on Facebook, YouTube et al, I have advocated for anti-trust action against these bullying behemoths.

Pamela Geller: Why I Am Suing Facebook – Breitbart

Story continues below advertisement

The Urgent Case for Legislation against Social Media Giants Pamela Geller, American Thinker

AT&T has called for an “Internet Bill of Rights” and argued that Facebook and Google should also be subjected to rules that would prevent unfair censorship on their platforms.

AT&T, one of the largest telecommunications companies, called for Congress to enact an “Internet Bill of Rights” which would subject Facebook, Google, and other content providers to rules that would prevent unfair censorship on Internet Service Providers (ISPs) such as Comcast or AT&T as well as content providers such as Facebook and Google.

AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson wrote, “Congressional action is needed to establish an ‘Internet Bill of Rights’ that applies to all internet companies and guarantees neutrality, transparency, openness, non-discrimination and privacy protection for all internet users.”

Stephenson posted the ad in the New York Times, Washington Post, and other national news outlets on Wednesday.

We must get behind this — all of us — and fast. Because what is happening is being engineered at the government level. A chief officer from a major American communications company went to the terror state of Pakistan to assure the Pakistani government that Facebook would adhere to the sharia. The commitment was given by Vice President of Facebook Joel Kaplan, who called on Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan. “Facebook has reiterated its commitment to keep the platform safe and promote values that are in congruence with its community standards.”

Early last year, I wrote: “The US government has used anti-trust laws to break up monopolies. They ought to break up Facebook. Section 2 of the Sherman Act highlights particular results deemed anticompetitive by nature and prohibits actions that ‘shall monopolize, or attempt to monopolize, or combine or conspire with any other person or persons, to monopolize any part of the trade or commerce among the several States, or with foreign nations.’ Couldn’t the same be applied to information? The United States government took down Standard Oil, Alcoa, Northern Securities, the American Tobacco Company and many others without nearly the power that Facebook has.”

The left’s war on free speech is escalating. The deplatforming of Amy Mek is just the latest of many such incidents. The social media giants must be broken up, quickly, or America will be over as a free society.

“Proof: Twitter Takes Commands from the Hard Left – The Deplatforming of @amymek,” RAIR Foundation, June 15, 2020:

On May 28, 2020, President Donald J. Trump issued an executive order aimed at preventing online media censorship. The President’s executive order comes at a time when radical left organizations are pressuring and influencing the social media giants into online censorship. Aligning with these radical groups, Twitter, Facebook, Google and others are increasingly silencing conservative voices. RAIR Foundation USA’s own Amy Mek has been caught up in this conservative censorship storm as her Twitter account has been suspended since April 16th for reporting the facts about Coronavirus jihad attacks.
Online Censorship

Twitter, Facebook and Google, have made it a regular practice to delete selective content and entire accounts without warning or rationale, leaving users without recourse. While every media business is certainly free to choose the content it publishes and the editorial position it advances on issues including politics, typical media businesses can be held liable for libel and slander for publishing erroneous and damaging content.

These social media behemoths, however, have successfully categorized themselves as “platforms” and not media companies that create or publish content. The Communications Decency Act essentially provides an exemption to these “platforms” from the liability that all other media companies, including your local newspapers and tv stations, New York Times, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC and individual bloggers, must defend themselves from every day.

Examples like the deplatforming of Amy Mek by Twitter and the ever-growing other countless examples of these “platforms” removing content or restricting access to their distribution channels makes it crystal clear that these social media giants have crossed the line from passive distributors of content like a wireless cell phone carrier facilitating phone calls and entrenched themselves deeply as editorial content businesses advancing political agendas.

In making their editorial and deplatforming decisions, Twitter and its social media brethren are now customarily turning to radical left organizations for “facts” and succumbing to the pressures from these groups. Twitter’s recent handling of the weaponization of the coronavirus by a group of Jihadists represents an alarming and ever-growing trend of social media companies cowering to the agendas of radical left organizations, and allowing them to dictate what accounts and what information is removed from its platform.
Equality Labs Imposes Its Radical Agenda on Twitter

With the global outbreak of the coronavirus, Jihadists in India and around the globe were caught weaponizing the coronavirus. This is not speculation. Instead of loudly calling out the vastly unreported and potentially deadly tactics, militant leftist organizations such as Equality Labs, launched an aggressive online campaign to suppress, intimidate and deplatform citizens who reported the well-proven Coronavirus Jihad.

With gushing publicity from Time, the Huffington Post, the Washington Post and The Guardian, Equality Labs pushed the the hashtag #StopCOVIDIslamophobia and lobbied for online censorship to support its radical agenda. Equality Labs’ sent a letter lobbying world leaders, Twitter and the other social media companies that can be viewed here.

Although there exists a plethora of factual support that Jihadists in India and around the globe are in fact weaponizing the coronavirus, Twitter chose to adopt the Equity Labs “facts” and censored dissenting, albeit substantiated, posts on the subject. As a result, the @amymek Twitter account has been suspended since March 16th….

Very well presented. The issue is not related to religion. The issue is basically and actually a political issue that separates Islam from those others, like me, who refuse to accept Islam as the only acceptable belief system, a belief system, that Islam, like the Nazi’s and the Fascists’, intends to force on us all. That is , and has become, a political issue, that deserves open discussion, and disputing the Islamic claims should never be denied.

Dr. Bill Warner deems there’s no separating the political component from the religious component of islum. He defines the political component as being that portion of islum that deals w/the unbeliever in islum. Dr. Warner only has 1400 years of unending islamic terrorism, genocide, ethnic cleansing and persecution of the unbeliever in islum to back up his position.

Dennis Lamber: The issue is very much related to religion, specifically to Islam, as Islam is a totalitarian political system and a supremacist ideology as well as a religion.
Islam didn’t just become political over time; it always has been; the Islamic calendar isn’t based on the date of Muhammad’s first revelation or on the date when the first written copy of the Koran was created, but on the date when Muhammad made the Hijra from Mecca to Medina where he became a powerful political figure.
Twitter is a hard left organization and the left LOVES Islam.

Without freedom of speech the only recourse people have is violence. Here’s an actual example, Youtube was alleged censoring Nasim Najafi Aghdam’s videos, so she shot 3 Youtube staffers and then killed herself.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/YouTube_headquarters_shooting#Motive

Youtube’s censorship has gotten even worse, they’re becoming like Twitter now. As I recall they have a large group of people who regulate speech on their platform and many of them happen to be Muslims. Whenever I’ve said the slightest negative comment about Islam on YT, my posts have been removed and I got banned from Twitter for the same reason.

This war between Islam and the West is very real. Don’t forget that the Saudis own 10-20% of Twitter so they are largely influencing what information is deemed acceptable and what is not. Ofc they are censoring any negative posts about Islam. These Muslims savages will drag us all back to the dark ages if they’re not removed from influencing our social media and elections.

IIRC Bing is Microsoft and hence, not trustworthy as I have a lot of problems with both IE and Edge on accessing certain conservative websites. I do not trust Gates as he is (like all of his ilk) a major leftist funder and he has far too much power.

Addendum. Every time I turn my back or there is an update to either of the above I find Bing back on. This is absolutely dishonest of MS and I remove Bing totally always but they sneak it back.

I’m working with a Chromebook, does not have anything microsoft in it, though I use Bing as a search engine rather then Google. I know it’s a Gates manufactured search engine, and hate his guts, but frankly, as far as search engines go, it seems to work rather well. At least so far…

I spend a lot of time wondering about the “social media” geeks who run these companies. I often think that they must be sadists and masochists who want to deliberately destroy their own country – because that’s what you are going to do by silencing all criticism of Islam. It gives the Jihadis (whether they are suicide bomby-ones or rapey ones) the knowledge that they can operate without fear of being exposed or condemned by society.

But other times, I think they really just are that stupid, ass-backward and gullible…

Collaborating with muslums and islum is much more lucrative than opposing them. The Soddy Barbarian royal family, if they so desired, could buy BofA or Chase Manhattan Bank — and I don’t mean just a controlling interest in their stock but a complete buyout of said companies — lock, stock and barrel. The f’ing muslum petrocracies have bought up the dying atheist West for a song.

Havent these nerds already got enough money anyway?

The tech geeks are brainwashed and naive and ignorant…… it’s *not* simply a case of “only caring for the bottom line”. They are genuinely retarded enough that getting in bed with Muslims makes you oh so holier than thou.. and all that stupid liberal sh1t.

It’s like they’re a protected species so they can say do sell sex slaves ( on Twitter hence I refuse to have an account as it’s disgusting what they let isis put on Twitter) it’s time Islam is made a hate crime used against the rest of us which is why I use disqus when replying over a subject that the other bias for Islam only platforms do not allow !

Twitter does take commands from the hard left as well as from the Muslims, as do all the other social media giants (Facebook, YouTube, Google, etc.).
As to who the hard left takes commands from, besides Soros and the other usual suspects, go to YouTube and watch the video there entitled,
Who Made the Useful Idiots of the Left.
In it, Uri Bezmenov, a Russian ex KGB agent who defected to Canada in 1980, explains why all the craziness that we are experiencing now is happening, how those who are carrying it out came to be, etc..
The importance of the information provided in this video cannot be over estimated!
For the truth about Islam, read these works by Robert Spencer, preferably in the order listed:
1.)The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam and the Crusades.
2.) Stealth Jihad; How Radical Islam is Subverting America without Guns or Bombs.
3.) Arab Winter Comes to America; The Truth About the War We’re In.
Works of other authors of equal importance are:
1.) Modern Day Trojan Horse; The Islamic Doctrine of Immigration by Sam Solomon and E. Al Maqdisi.
2.) The Mosque Exposed by Sam Solomon and E. Al maqdisi.
3.) Refugee Resettlement and the Hijra to America by Ann Corcoran.

First of all, this is a fine example of “headline bait and switch” which I am sad to see Ms. Geller using far more of, lately. Not a single WORD in the entire article about what Amy Mek WROTE which was allegedly “Islamophobic.”

One had to click in a non-obvious link (among many) to get to Ms. Mek’s own website where the full story is told.

Secondly, she did NOT just “tell the truth” about a massive Islamic prayer meeting in Delhi which resulted in thousands of cases of COVID-19 and dozens of dealths. She called this “Coronavirus Jihad” and “Islamic Bio-Terrorism.” THAT part is not merely “truthful reporting” of what happened, it crosses the line into hate speech. I read the entire Mek website article, and not a single WORD there even accused the Imam in question of INTENTIONALLY spreading COVID-19 to Hindus. All they were doing was holding a massive prayer meeting and intentionally ignoring or disobeying government social-distancing guidelines. I find that deplorable, but it is NOT jihad.

And thirdly, I find such an accusation RISIBLE coming from right-wing, evangelist Christian Americans and Orthodox Jewish Americans who ALSO publicly and loudly insisted on holding massive prayer meetings in violation of US government coronavirus safety guidelines and social-distancing protocols. Or who, like Pres. Trump, are holding massive political rallies (without masks, of course!) and massive party conventions and massive parties, period (beaches, bars, etc.) in violation of sensible social-distancing guidelines. Does that make THOSE people jihadists, too? No, of course not. Stupid, but not INTENTIONALLY spreading COVID-19 to non-Trumpists. Or, ARE they? Same logic applies, folks. Sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

And who decides what constitutes “hate speech” Abdullah? Your imam? The mullahs of Iran? The Ayatrollah Khameni? Hate is an emotion, it is therefore subjective. Maybe you would be happier living in muslum friendly Scotland, where hate speech legislation is merely the cover story for the implementation of islamic blasphemy and heresy laws and no one dare criticise the muslum death cult, it’s pedophile prophet for profit or its ideology.
You want to see what a fascist is? Look in a mirror.

In the USA, even if somebody calls it “hate speech,” it is not ILLEGAL unless it is a direct and imminent incitement to violence — urging a mob to walk out the door and kill infidels, or the like. I read the entire article on Ms. Mek’s website and did not see anywhere that any of the Muslim missionaries in question did any such thing in that instance. They did nothing worse than what many US Christian preachers have done, in urging their congregants to ignore government social-distancing requirements and to congregate in large numbers.
Secondly, both in the USA and in India, “who decides” what is “hate speech” that they want to ban, when we are talking about a privately-owned media platform, is THE OWNER of that platform. Nobody should be forced to carry messages they personally do not want to carry. Both Ms. Mek’s right to FIND a platform, and Twitter’s right not to be forced to BE that platform, are aspects of “free speech.”
As for “left wing pressure,” it’s totally up to Twitter whether they agree with and comply with those demands, or NOT. I just read an article where Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook) is catching flak for refusing to “de-platform” Trump and his dog-whistle law-and-order anti-black ads. I applaud allowing Trump a forum because — you guessed it — I believe in free speech.
