COP-FREE NYC: First Lady of NYC Says Police-Free New York ‘Would Be Like a Nirvana, a Utopia’

Chirlane McCray -the wife of Mayor Bill de Blasio and First Lady of New York City- weighed-in Wednesday on the nationwide movement to defund police departments; describing a cop-free NYC as a “nirvana” and “utopia.”
Story continues below advertisement“That would be like a nirvana, a utopia that we are nowhere close to getting to,” McCray said during a TIME100 Talks discussion.
“They can do things that would not be possible in a large city like New York,” McCray added, referring to the dismantling Minneapolis Police Department.
“You’re going to have police in New York City because it is needed for safety,” the mayor said, “but that doesn’t mean you can’t change policing.”
De Blasio’s daughter was arrested last week in Manhattan during anti-police demonstrations in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death.
The NYPD Sergeants Benevolent Association ripped New York Mayor Bill de Blasio in a now-deleted tweet Monday; calling his daughter an “object throwing rioting anarchist” after learning of her arrest late Saturday night.
“How can the NYPD protect the city of NY from rioting anarchist when the Mayors object throwing daughter is one of them. Now we know why he is forbidding Mounted units to be mobilized and keeping the NYPD from doing their jobs,” read the SBA tweet.
Bill de Blasio said he was “proud” of his daughter after the 25-year-old was reportedly arrested in Manhattan for blocking traffic during citywide protests in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd.
“We asked her to recount the whole story. I love my daughter deeply, I honor her. She only wants to do good in the world. She believes a lot of change is needed. I’m proud of her that she cares so much that she’s willing to go out there and do something about it,” said de Blasio.
“She was acting peacefully. She believes that everything she did was in the spirit of respectful protest… I’ll let her speak for herself, but I admire that she was out there trying to change something that she thought was unjust,” he added.

So-called Liberals, faux-Democrats are not merely a pathogen infecting this Nation and its cities but suffer from deep-seated toxicity and psychosis. Imagine NYC without the NYPD, madame de Blasio’s utterance is unmitigated, systemic cop-hatred, racist, and treasonous. Nor are these two alone attempting to destroy not merely NYC but the Republic in its entirety. Those of this malignant movement and the faux-Democrats are out-and-out traitors, with one endeavor in mind, the Nation’s ultimate end.
Stating that a cop-free NYC or America becoming a nirvana is beyond foretelling, it is a warning to all law-abiding Americans that our Republic and its Constitution are in jeopardy. It is time for the above, those dwelling in a state of complacency, to open their eyes before it is too late, If it is not already.

My thought….NYPD should declare a “sick out”
because of the corny virus. The sick out will be across all NYPD Departments.
Self Quarantine for 14 days minimum. We will institute corny testing among our NYPD
personnel. Even if negative the 14 day quarantine is still in effect. We are
sorry that this is happening but the riots have exposed our personnel to a
“serious and lethal virus”. We wish all good luck in these tragic
times. No emergency services will be utilized by the NYPD. The FDNYwill still
function in its fire fighting and life saving role. However those services will
be strained and if they come under “attack” they will withdraw and
not risk their lives under any circumstances. They too have been exposed and
therefore may suspend services till further notice. The “I am Mayor and
you are not” office will answer any questions that the public may have.
That should set all the minions into conniptions. I am serious about what I
have written above. Let it burn and the famous song after it burns. Let it Be. No
money, no resources. Let it Be. Escape from NY is almost prophetic….

I love your idea. The only problem I know that will backfire on me is that New Yorkers escape, come to my state, and vote for the same type of Leftards they voted for in New York. This is giving power to a more virulent form of Democrat than what most local Democrats would vote for.

I have friends there who are DESPERATE to move out of New York! They are trying to sell their home and they live in a predominately WHITE neighborhood. ONLY blacks have tried to buy their home and their neighbors are BEGGING THEM not to sell. My friends told their neighbors to buckle up and that they were selling to anyone who could afford their home, including ANYONE, but they WILL NOT SELL TO A MUSLIM.

Well…you go for many years, decades even, of showing brutal police murders of innocent often unarmed civilians and this effects the people of large cities. The police are always let off and their actions cannot be justified other than by saying they were following departmental policy. Departmental policy seems to favor killing unarmed people and exonerating the uniformed shooters. Meanwhile in the rest of the G-20 nations such police shootings are not happening because their departmental policy would place the officers in prison.
Like it or not, the decades of educating the public to accept being shot at by police did not work. The media educated the public in the lack of accountability for police actions that exists under the police unions.
