Who in their right mind would invest in such a city? Sadly this is just another horror story from a Democrat run city. President Trump should campaign in Minnesota. He only lost the state by a few thousand votes in 2016, and that is because Hillary Clinton did well in Minneapolis and St.Paul. That will likely not happen this November. Manufacturer to Leave Minneapolis After Plant Set on Fire in Riots

Story continues below advertisementThe owner of a manufacturing plant in Minneapolis, Minnesota, says he will move his business out of the city after officials failed to protect his livelihood from being set on fire in riots this month.
Owner of 7-SIGMA, Kris Wyrobek, told the Star Tribune in an interview that he plans to leave Minneapolis after protesters, arsonists, and looters wrecked the city in weeks-long riots over the death of George Floyd.
The riots, which started in Minneapolis, quickly spread to Los Angeles, New York City, Seattle, Portland, Washington, D.C., Chicago, and other smaller to medium-sized cities. Police officers have been attacked in the unrest, businesses have been burned down and looted, and innocent bystanders have been killed.
Wyrobeck’s 7-SIGMA — which designs, manufactures, and supplies polymer and metal components and assemblies for printing, medical, aerospace, and industrial companies and has about 50 employees — will not be returning to Minneapolis after it was set on fire in the riots.
The Star Tribune reported:
“They don’t care about my business,” said Kris Wyrobek, president and owner of 7-Sigma Inc., which has operated since 1987 at 2843 26th Av. in south Minneapolis. “They didn’t protect our people. We were all on our own.” [Emphasis added]

“The fire engine was just sitting there, but they wouldn’t do anything,” Wyrobek said. “That’s the frustrating thing to us.” [Emphasis added]

When asked if he thought of relocating before the riots, Wyrobek said, “not in my wildest nightmare.” On Monday, he was sorting through the remnants of his business, figuring out how to get up and running again. [Emphasis added]
Property damage records reported by the Star Tribune revealed that close to 1,000 commercial properties were left wrecked, 50 of which were entirely destroyed, in the riots. Experts have said the damage may be upwards of $500 million.
The riots came just after states forced small and medium-sized businesses to close up shop during the Chinese coronavirus crisis — some for almost three months — while big businesses were allowed to stay open and further dominate markets.
Many of the businesses destroyed in riots across the U.S. had only just started to reopen as states began lifting their lockdown orders.

I just wonder what percentage of burned out businesses will rebuild. Self insurers like Walmart can just eat the loss and move on. However, small and specialty businesses may not have the resources, even with insurance settlements, to rebuild – and will likely never open. One thing not addressed is what about the people in these cities or those who have sought employment in them. How many will pack up and go —- and how many will just not come. Look for a further decline of these concrete jungles.

Even with insurance settlements many of the burned out and looted businesses won’t be coming back because even if they did rebuild the increased insurance premiums, thanks to ANTIFA and fellow traveler Anarchists, make a viable business impossible.

The only rioting and looting I saw was that occurring in Los Angeles, and I quickly observed a pattern of actions that can only be explained by Command and Control.
BLM is good at inciting, but they haven’t, at lest up to now, demonstrated the sort of understanding of C&C that ANTIFA has.
Too much of the looting demonstrated the sort of organization that is only possible if somebody [such as ANTIFA] was “ready and waiting” to take advantage of a situation with their “useful idiots” already assigned specific tasks as part of a “rent a riot”.
NO doubt BLM was responsible for much of the early destruction in Minneapolis, particularly the siege and destruction of the Police Precinct Headquarters.
In my mind, both groups are equally guilty of fomenting the rioting nationwide.

Because the Organized Predators were ready and waiting for any opportunity to take a peaceful protest and turn it into rioting and looting.
It followed the same pattern every day in Los Angeles. Peaceful protest all day long, then about an hour and a half before sunset the rioting and looting started. By the second day you you could predict plus or minus 15 minutes when the troublemakers would be crawling out of hiding.

I don’t know if you saw the early riot videos, out of Minneapolis, .such as when the poeleese station was abandoned and burnt to the ground. However, if you did (first three days of riots, pretty much nationwide) it was a “black thing”. the soyboys and butt-ugly female whites didn’t get involved until later.

Not true. We need history, we need cultural outlets, we need these things. Small towns cannot support these things. We just need to take our cities back. They weren’t builty by these thugs – they don’t belong to them. We need to start paying attention to what’s going on in our schools. That is where this mindset is being cultivated. Too many people have thought for too long that they have more important things to do than check in on what their kids are learning. What they are being taught is communism and they means to achieve it. Our schools are even employing communist Chinese nationals to “teach Mandarin” in our kindergartens. Either we want to live in America, a free country with history, music, parks, architecture, OR we can live in a crater, dictated to by a communist machine. Look at Wuhan. We can live like that – and this is what out Millenials and Zs are trying to deliver. They have the help of a lot of useless idiots and the press. You cannot operate a business without insurance for property, inventory, equipment, liability, and so forth. No insurance company will ever again offer insurance at reasonable rates to companies located in Commiecrat strongholds without adequate police and fire protection and where looters and arsonists and robbers are encouraged and not imprisoned. Its simply not going to happen. Without insurance, banks will not lend, vendors will not extend credit. Deliveries will be prohibitively expensive. The list is endless. Without tax revenues city services will be cut and vanish, sewage, roads, water lines will not be properly maintained. Rampant crime will reign as gangs roam freely without any restraint. These cities are now dead shells that will never again be revitalized until the Commiecrats have been removed from control, which is unlikely for the foreseeable future. The big cities of the US are dead corpses which, unfortunately, will not rest in peace.

If I am looking to build a business from the ground up, it will likely be in my neighborhood and grow from there. If, over the years, I begin to see decay that I can’t fix, I will have to move my business elsewhere. It starts with one, but others will join in. Nobody wants to see the fruits of their labor go up in smoke. That is not racist to say, nor is it racist to want to protect everything you have. If you put all of your money in one basket, common sense tells you to protect that basket. We need to recognize the handwriting on the wall and react to its warning. How we do this is mainly dependent on how the first person to move makes out. He will know if it is worth the effort. If it is, others will follow. Minneapolis, Minnesota, will eventually look lie Detroit or Dearborn. It is a Muslim enclave, and the unrest spreading cross-country has not affected them negatively. No mosques or Muslim-owned businesses have been at risk, and Mayor DiBlasio even fed 4,000 of them during the “lockdown” as they celebrated their “end-of-day-fast” for Ramadan. As far as I can see, they are the only ones unaffected by restrictions, and they are the only ones not affected by rioters or looters. They continue to spew hate by whites against blacks, even if it does not exist systematically.
