And West Virginia is a solidly Republican state. Mail-in-ballots guarantee that the Democrats will cheat in the upcoming elections. We must not allow that to happen.

By Sara Carter, May 27, 2020

The U.S. Department of Justice charged a West Virginia mail carrier for attempted election fraud on Tuesday, a press release stated.

Thomas Cooper, 47, was responsible for altering ballots by changing voters’ registered parties, according to the DOJ. He admitted to it, saying it was a joke after the West Virginia Secretary of State’s office conducted an investigation into the matter.

Cooper, who worked for the Pendleton County company, was charged with “attempt to Defraud the Residents of West Virginia of a Fair Election.” Cooper was contracted by the U.S. Postal Service, according to an affidavit.

President Donald Trump and Republican leaders have made election integrity a priority ahead of the November, 2020 election. The Republican National Committee is already pursuing legal action against states instituting sweeping vote by mail orders amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Is he a democrat?

I saw this yesterday. Apparently he changed the parties of about 7 people from Democrat to Republican. I’m not sure how that helps the Dems. Then again, smart isn’t one of their prominent traits.

Its always a “joke” when they are caught. Before being caught it was serious.

The only plausible explanation is he is a moronic democrat who decided to take one for the team and destroy the claims by republicans of democrats committing voter fraud.

Wait we have been told that that was never any case of mail in voter fraud. Well how could anyone know as it is impossible to actually know who cast that mail in ballot.

Reports about this crime should make it clearer, Cooper was not and never was an employee of the USPS. He was a postal contractor. Since 1970, the USPS has been a semi-private organization.

The Heritage Foundation compiled a list of hundreds of voter fraud cases for the past 10 years. Voter fraudulent, pervasive and difficult to detect and stop. The only effective method is voter ID and that can be easily circumvented as well.

Since everyone gets one vote, the ink-stained finger will prevent multiple votes from one person. That would go a long way to cleaning up the voting.
