Europe’s #1 Newspaper Germany’s Das Bild Says ‘LOCKDOWN WAS A HUGE MISTAKE’

Finally, at least one important, recognized news outlet is speaking the truth. German media showing the world what a fraud the American press is.

Germany’s Das Bild Says ‘Lockdown Was a Huge Mistake’

By Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D., Breitbart, May 11, 2020:
Europe’s best-selling newspaper announced this weekend the lockdown in response to the Chinese coronavirus pandemic was a “huge mistake,” citing a number of public intellectuals critical of the country’s official response.

Story continues below advertisement

Reproducing comments from seven well-known intellectuals, Das Bild underscores the importance of “warning, doubting, and arguing” in the case of a public crisis that involves the suppression of the fundamental rights of citizens.

In presenting the opinions of highly esteemed “lateral thinkers,” the newspaper notes Germany’s political leaders, on the contrary, “pushed the recommendations of other luminaries to justify the lockdown of the economy and public life, as well as the severe interference with everyone’s freedoms,” while ignoring contrary voices.

Prof. Klaus Püschel, for instance, a respected pathologist and head of the Institute of Forensic Medicine at Hamburg University Hospital, argues that “in the end, COVID-19 is a viral disease like the flu, which in most cases is harmless and is only fatal in exceptional cases.

“It is important to look at the aftermath of the epidemic to see if COVID-19 really was the cause of death,” Püschel observes. “Of the approximately 180 deceased with coronavirus that we have now examined, all suffered from severe pre-existing conditions and were not children or adolescents. The COVID-19 infection was the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

University of Hanover Professor Stefan Homburg, a former adviser to the federal government, agrees official figures in Germany in no way justified the lockdown.

“In Italy, the coronavirus epidemic was worse than a flu epidemic, in Germany it was less severe,” Homburg said. “With the lockdown, the federal and state governments have made a huge mistake.”

“The damage is increasing every day, all bans must be lifted immediately,” he continued. “Empty soccer stadiums and half-empty restaurants are of no use to anyone.”

For his part, Professor Hans-Jürgen Papier, former president of the Federal Constitutional Court, said the debate was too short and state interventions went too far.

“The balance was between the protection of life and health on the one hand and the protection of constitutional goods on the other,” he said. In principle, “there should have been a broader and more detailed parliamentary and public debate. To this end, the legal goods to be weighed up were too important and the consequences and interventions too great.”

Julian Nida-Rümelin, Germany’s former Minister of Culture, said statistics without contextualization create fear and panic but do not promote a rational debate.

“With COVID-19, new, huge numbers appear every day, which make us frightened and perplexed,” he said. “These figures must be understood by asking: how many people die every day in Germany in total? How many have heart attacks? How many from cancer? How many from COVID-19? Little is being done to this effect.”

For “legendary” journalist Patricia Riekel, warnings and an appeal to personal responsibility would have been preferable to the lockdown.

“I would not have thought the measures necessary,” Ms. Riekel states. “I am in favor of the Swedish way, with recommendations that distance be kept and that people who are at risk stay at home.”

“What we have seen in the last six weeks has been excessive,” Riekel adds: “We have become a people of compliers and snitches.”

Ja, aber mit der Zeitschrift “Bild” ist das Bild oft nicht die Wahrheit
Careful: “Bild” is a popular pulp magazine with sport and sometimes boobs on the cover. It’s better than National Enquirer though. The USA is over-counting Covid-19 mortality, and Germany is under-counting Covid-19 mortality.

This article has EXCELLENT LOGIC though. If you lock down a whole city, then who did you quarantine? Answer: The whole city can still infect each other, so what good did that do? And a lock-down may not be as good as hand cleaning, masks where indicated, crowd avoidance, and self-isolation for those who choose to do it. Nobody knows what works best.

Just the gin. Hi Ach, just thinking about you. S Korea has a new mini outbreak, this time in the ‘skanky district’:

“Infection cases linked to Itaewon clubs rise to 94”
https://en.yna.co.kr/view/AEN20200511003755315?section=national/national
“SEOUL, May 11 (Yonhap) — The number of new coronavirus infections connected to bars and clubs in Seoul’s popular nightlife district of Itaewon climbed to 94 on Monday, health authorities and local governments said amid growing concerns over a high risk of community spread.”

What do you know about those “bars and clubs in Seoul’s popular nightlife district of Itaewont”? Was it just VD? What I mean is that ANY infectious disease will be spread from intimate contact. All that close contact and breathing and squeezing will transmit more germs. SO the bad news is that there are many more forms of STD than what the medical educators tell people. Maybe Covid-19 is a STD.

Itaewon is a Yangnum (insulting term for Miguk) area. Many of the Western bars and such are located in Itaewon. And, also included, the “drinky-drink” joints catering to G.I. types. I haven’t been to Itaewon in over twenty years, so it may have changed. Oh, and lots and lots of low-end “custom made” suit tailors. At least it used to. However, today, with no one wearing suits … they may be a thing of the past.

Ninety-four infections? That’s an “outbreak”, when the U.S. has that many dying in ONE nursing home?

Out of that huge outbreak of ninety-four, how many have died?

Ach: Thanks for your help. Since April 28, S. Korean Covid-19 mortality has been near zero. But they remain worried and vigilant. And yes, 94 is low compared to the USA, but that will eventually occur in the USA too. Almost all new S. Korean Covid-19 infections are coming from foreign visitors. And that brings us to Itaewon.
https://covid19info.live/southkorea/
Itaewon is still mainly as you remember, but maybe larger. It’s still partly a Miguk [USA visitor] area, but it is now flooded by S. Koreans along a 14 km long strip. Here is a summary of what may be the focal point of the Itaewon infection hot spot:
“Hooker Hill remains one of the most known red light spots not only in Itaewon but of the whole city. Mostly because Hooker Hill caters to foreigners whereas other red light districts in the city actively discriminate against non Koreans. With so many other options, literally so many, most Korean guys who look for prostitution don’t need to even consider Hooker Hill.”
http://kissmykimchi.com/2017/01/kmk-hooker-hill-itaewon.html/
If Covid-19 becomes a sexually transmitted disease, it will be much harder to get rid of, worldwide. Total world HIV/AIDS mortality since 1981= 35 million, and we don’t want to do that again.

I had a good friend that worked for Nokia, back in the late nineties. He had a suite at the Hamilton Hotel, which is located in Itaewon. His suite was three rooms with an in-room sauna (which he never used). And, during “IMF Times”, it was only three grand a month.

I had a very small one bedroom apartment, in Samsung-Dong that ran $2700.00 American, monthly. I tried to get a deal, such as his. Daily maid service, room service, and a suite larger than my ahpatuh.

I’d oftentimes drink in the Itaewon district. And, I NEVER heard of “Hooker Hill”. Where was the internet and “kissmykimchi.com” when I needed it?

That’s shocking. Why haven’t we shut the world down long before this ?

Yes, I know you’re kidding. But it’s still a good question, why don’t we care? Answer: because it doesn’t threaten us personally, or our families. Most of the mortalities are still among African gays and prostitutes, so we don’t worry that we will get it.

Most people that get AIDS are gays, because they are in the highest risk group, which is unsurprising given the disgustingly unhygienic practices they indulge in !

Yes, the simple reality is that rectums are not designed for intercourse. Vaginas certainly are, they are loaded with protective systems that work well even when newlyweds go all night. They stretch, they make their own lube, they are armed with their own immune system, they have good pain sensitivity, and they are directly connected to a brain that can say, “no! stop now!”. Rectums, not so much. They they are full of germs to start with, they bleed, they don’t naturally lube, they absorb ambient germs, and after the workout that some high sex drive gays give them, the get diseased. A Finnish study found that gays are much more likely than heteros to have protozoans [tiny animals] in their poop.

China Told WHO to Cover-Up Coronavirus Info & ‘Delay Pandemic Warning,’ Report Claims Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service reveals bombshell findings
By: Jay Greenberg |@NeonNettle on 10th May 2020 @ 12.00pm

China’s President Xi Jinping personally asked the World Health Organization (WHO) to cover-up vital information about the coronavirus and delay issuing a global pandemic warning, according to a bombshell new intelligence report.

The report, from Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service, claims that during a conversation back in January, Chinese Communist Party leader Jinping personally asked WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom to help China keep the threat of COVID-19 hidden.According to the German intel report, Xinping specifically asked Dr. Tedros to “delay a global warning” during their conversation,Citing evidence from the Federal Intelligence Service, known as the “Bundesnachrichtendienst” (BND), Germany’s Der Spiegel published the allegations this weekend.

“On January 21, China’s leader Xi Jinping asked WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to hold back information about a human-to-human transmission and to delay a pandemic warning,” the BND intel report states.“The BND estimates that China’s information policy lost four to six weeks to fight the virus worldwide.”

I stopped using FB years ago. Recognized it as a partizan left wing entity that also sold my information and spied on me. I can not understand why anyone on the right still uses FB. And those on the right that do use FB have no grounds to complain about that particular social media platform whenever they do something underhanded, which they seem to do often.

Q if you recall, said that Facebook was originally a DARPA run spying entity, set up to gather personal info and data on its users. It was first called ( ominously ) “Lifelog”, but then as word got around about its sinister intent, they changed it to the more innocuous sounding Facebook. Interesting timing that the very day Lifelog ended, Facebook began.

I don’t use a mobile phone, Twitter or Facebook, but as you say, a lot of sheep careless or unconcerned about their loss of privacy are stupid enough to keep with it / them. Giving a future totalitarian government all the info. they require on who to weed out for being an enemy of the state….

I wasn’t aware of the DARPA connection! I also use the Brave browser coupled with the Start Page search engine, always in private window mode. I will sometimes turn my phone off when moving from point A to point B. I also think Edward Snowden is a true patriot and a hero.

Julian Assange is a patriot. And he has a lot of dirt on the Dems which will all be coming out in good time. Can’t wait for the Seth Rich stuff to go public. The enemy will be finished !

The stealth attack on the world’s economies by the CCP is beginning to unravel. I expect that very soon the full extent of both the damage and the well planned deliberate execution will be revealed. If not by our own Dog Fart Media then by President Trump and his many allies and supporters. It will become the defining issue of his presidency. I cannot overstate how much bad blood is building-up globally against the Chinese Communist Party right now. This rising rage will be harnassed against not just the CCP but its allies, its aiders, and abettors who allowed this monster to grow and threaten us. These allies and fellow-travelers are so powerful and embedded the CCP believes it could escape the consequences of employing and launching this horrific WMD.

Every day, with more reports leaking about the COVER-UP of essential details – of human-to-human infectiousness, the scope of the disease, and other crucial data, such as the safety issues in the Wuhan bio-labs – the PRESSURE is mounting and the scrutiny is intensifying. Trump will gain points with voters, who want to see someone punished for Covid-19’s HORRIFIC outcomes for the average person and for the country; it also ALLOWS WASHINGTON to get tougher on China before negotiating Phase 2 of the trade deal. I also see a consensus-building that the CCP must be removed as the power in China and that whatever force is necessary will be employed. The CCP may be intimidating and ruthless but it cannot survive a world-wide effort to remove it from power. The long-suffering Chinese people need to be rescued from its appalling tentacles and ruthless control This is an issue the world can unite on much as we did in WW II against the NAZIS and Imperial Japan.
