Chicago Mayor Bans Unvaxxed from Bars, Restaurants, Gyms: ‘Your Time Is Up’

Story continues below advertisementChicago’s Democrat mayor, Lori Lightfoot, announced Tuesday a new COVID order banning unvaccinated people over 5 years old from indoor dining, gyms, and other locations.
The new requirement from the Chicago Department of Health and the Chicago Department of Business Affairs & Consumer Protection goes into effect Jan. 3, 2022.
“If you have been living vaccine-free, your time is up,” Lightfoot said.
“If you wish to live life with the ease to do the things you love, you must be vaccinated,” she added. “This health order may pose an inconvenience to the unvaccinated, and in fact it is inconvenient by design.”
Patrons, aged 5 and older, will be required to show their vaccine passport, and those 16 and older will also need to provide identification that matches the vaccine card, Breaking 911 reports.
The order is allegedly in response to the Omicron variant and is similar to orders in other Democrat-controlled cities like New York City and Los Angeles.
In response, Jon Nicosia mocked Lightfoot on Twitter: “All smash and grabs and lootings in Chicago will now require a vaccine passport.”
