This is, as you no doubt expect, absurd from start to finish. Pamela Geller didn’t do anything to “suppress voter turnout or mislead people about when, or how to vote” – Twitter apparently hasn’t even bothered to update its ban notice since before November 3. Nor did she do anything along the lines of “manipulating or interfering in elections.” But there is no doubt that if she did take Twitter up on its magnanimous grant to her of a chance to appeal, the appeal would be denied. Twitter’s wonks are judge, jury, and executioner, and no one can question their sagacity or righteousness of their decisions.
What Pamela Geller did, of course, was simply report on the many irregularities and unanswered questions regarding the 2020 presidential election. Twitter, along with the other social media giants and the establishment media outlets, are labeling all questioning of the election as “lies” and are busy banning any suggestion that there was anything amiss about the election at all, without even bothering to explain all the issues. This is the way a guilty person who is trying to cover up his misdeeds acts, not the way a victor behaves when he knows he won fair and square and is happy to set the record straight.
Meanwhile, the Geller ban comes just two days after Time Magazine published an article entitled, “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election.” In it, Time’s Molly Ball boasted of “a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information. They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it.”
Not rigging the election, but fortifying it. Right. And how exactly does one “fortify” an election? From the looks of Ball’s article, by rigging it. Abundant indications of manipulation and chicanery are presented in a fulsome self-congratulatory tone that works assiduously to turn reality on its head. A photo of Detroit campaign workers covering the windows so that no one could see what they were doing as the counted the votes – not exactly a hallmark of a free and fair election – is spun with the caption, “Trump supporters seek to disrupt the vote count at Detroit’s TCF Center on Nov. 4.” Ian Bassin, co-founder of Protect Democracy, is quoted boasting that “the system didn’t work magically. Democracy is not self-executing.” It has to be executed by someone else, and it looks as if Ian Bassin and others like him were only too happy to serve as its executioners.
Contrary to Bassin’s statement, our “democracy” (which, as you may know or should know, is, or was, actually a republic), is set up to be “self-executing,” that is, the process should not be more complicated than each candidate making his case before the voters, and the voters freely voting. Ball details how corporate interests silenced opposing views and manipulated laws to ensure their desired result, all while writing darkly about Trump and his “henchmen” attempting to steal the election and destroy our “democracy.”
Time and Molly Ball may not have intended it, but now the cat is out of the bag. So the next step of the political and media elites is to silence those who keep pointing out the abundant signs of voter fraud, claiming that they’re “lying” and have to be muzzled for the public good. Hence the banning of Pamela Geller. But as of this writing, Molly Ball and Time Magazine still have their Twitter accounts. See, there is “manipulating or interfering in elections” and there is “manipulating or interfering in elections.” Twitter is fine with boasting about doing it for the Left. Twitter is not fine with people who oppose it pointing out that it was done.
It’s all reminiscent of an older charge that has been leveled against Pamela Geller: that of being an “Islamophobe.” When she would quote bloodthirsty Islamic jihadis justifying their actions by quoting the Qur’an, she – not the jihadis – was called an “Islamophobe.” He words – not those of the Qur’an – were dismissed as “hate speech.”
It has all been a shell game from start to finish, and the game isn’t over. The Left has arrogated to itself the right to judge what can and cannot be said in the public square. Pamela Geller’s Twitter account is not the first casualty of their fascist suppression of dissent, and it won’t be the last. Freedom of speech? Pah! That is so twentieth-century. Don’t you want to join Molly Ball and Time Magazine in the brave new world, in which one save democracy by destroying it? You may not ultimately have any choice, comrade.

Tuition at University of Iowa was $300.00 per semester, a cheap hole-in-the-wall apartment was $65.00 per month, all bills paid …. In those days, to a poor farm boy … that was serious dinero … minimum wage was $1.60 per hour.
If you signed, on the dotted line, you got $600.00 per semester, Cash Monies … and none of that ROTC bullsh-t …. Just one summer you go to basic and the next summer, it’s off to Quantico ….. Just think about it son …. then you’ll be ordering guys like me around. Best part is …. You run out of money and need another $600.00 …. just give me a call … and all that will do is extend your commitment another six months …. And, boy howdy, you’ll be commissioned officer.
I never called for any addional six hunnert … but, I had a friend who did MANY times. I figure that, on that alone, he was a lifer.

I saw that as well, but that seems to be quite the norm on comment threads these days. On some threads speaking about faith, if I say I’m a Jewish believer in the Jewish Messiah, I get numerous down votes, because it offends other Jews who DON’T believe in the Jewish Messiah. But I always try to speak the truth with as much calm and kindness as I can. One can’t reach another person with anger or verbal abuse. I noticed that years ago by watching how things escalated among people who are everyday Americans, but tend to get hot-headed if someone disagrees with them. We can’t have civil discourse with a mindset that gets angry when someone disagrees. It’s best to learn WHY they disagree, and even if we still disagree, it’s OK, this is SUPPOSED to be a free country that allows us to have our own opinions 🙂 (unlike what big tech is doing, but their day is coming…)

WWI and WWII weren’t won by “forming groups of people”. Unless, you’re referencing the Allied Force’s military.
Herb, down the block and his buddies didn’t kill the Japanese, at the Battle of Saipan, the Second Marine Division did. If the boy scouts (US Army) hadn’t been there, that battle would have been shorter and fewer Marines would have given their lives.
As far as WWI and WWII, it surely wasn’t Herb and some guys from his Water Buffalo Lodge.

LOL, the “boy scouts.” Marine tankers never had to face off against King Tiger tanks, Panther tanks, panzerfausts, panzershreks, nebelwerfers, 88’s, Jagdpanthers, StuG III’s
— any one of which could defeat the M4 Sherman. Marine Corps pilots never had to face off against FW-190’s or Me-262’s or even Wirbelwinds (quad 20mm, self-propelled, armored AA vehicles). Then there’s the MG-42 — the best light machinegun of the war and supposedly what the M-60 was based on. I remember a WW2 veteran of the 90th ID told me that the 8th Air Force had more casualties than the USMC in WW2.

My Uncle Vern retired from the Air Force, as a Brigadier. He started with the Army Air Corps, after the duration, went back home to Iowa to work for the local power company. Recalled during the Korean Conflict and just decided to stay in, as he figured that he could be in and out, every time a Democrat Party member was president. Thirty-seven years, and quite a few teaching at the Academy in Boulder, CO. Was flying missions, as a fighter pilot, in Viet Nam right before his retirement.
He stated, upon numerous occassions that the Air Force’s pilots couldn’t carry the jock strap of a Marine pilot.
That WWII veteran was a bald-faced liar. Were you actually naive enough to believe him?

The aces of the Luftwaffe made even Pappy Boyington look like an amateur. Eric Hauptmann, had more kills (352) than all US fighter aces from all services put together ever. JG52, the Luftwaffe fighter wing, probably shot down more allied aircraft (10,000 allied planes shot down) than all the air-to-air kills the entire Marine Corps scored in WW2 . The Japanese had nothing that was faster or could out climb the FW-190 Dora — at least that actually engaged in combat. Then of course there’s the Me-262, the first combat jet aircraft that no F4U Corsair could’ve caught.The Marine Corps never faced off against the best of the best in WW2 — the Luftwaffe’s many aces. Unlike the Japanese, the Germans had radar controlled flak batteries that could hit B-17’s and B-24’s at their maximum ceiling.

All that I know is what a retired general told me, who got his start with the Army Air Corps, in WWII. You can go by any books that you desire. I’ll go with the opinion of an USAF general.
The number killed in action, from the 8th was around 26,000. The Army Air Corps must have a different way of calculating “casualties”, as it is quoted as “47,483 casualties with approximately 26,000 dead”.
We always counted “casualties” as deaths. How in the hell do you get 47,483 casualties with only 26,000 dead?
I guess little fly boys have a different way of measurement.

I have been on gab for months, but have used it sparingly until recently. With the current extreme demand for access to the site, there are times when gab has been slow or temporarily unavailable, but improvements are constantly being made.
I signed up with Parler just before the trouble started, so I’m not the one to ask about its normal performance.

You may want to think twice about PARLER. I placed a comment on there that was NOT vulgar or anything, but instead was against these Wuhan Virus shots and they removed it! A lot of other people were complaining, as well.
I would instead, look at Gab.com and its associated SECURE browser, ‘Dissenter’ and SafeChat.com, which does not censor anything. I also use Brave for now, but am in the process of testing out Dissenter Browser which can be used on Linux, as well, which I use.

When I had an office on Saipan (Capital Island of the U.S. Commonwealth of the Marianas), I felt somewhat island happy, it being only fifty square miles.
However, on a bet, I spent 90 days on Goat Island. In the Commonwealth, only U.S. citizens may have any firearms and civilians are limited to .22 rimfire and .410 shotguns.
So, with a break barrel .410, a Ruger 10/22, plenty of fishing gear, and a tent … I spent three months with no neighbor(s), eating a lot of iguana, goat, and wild pig. Mostly goat.
When Guy Gabaldon came to pick me up …. he didn’t want to get with twenty feet of me, much less let into his plane. He said that he had never encountered anyone that smelled that bad. He asked me if I simply had hunted and eaten goat ….or if I had married one.

A lawyer who filed a federal lawsuit against Twitter on behalf of her teenage client revealed that the social media giant refused to take down videos of her client’s sexual abuse even after receiving proof that he was a minor and continued to profit off the content.
Despite receiving a copy of the driver’s license of the victim, John Doe — who was 13 when he was victimized — and requests from his mother, Twitter did not act, Lisa Haba, a partner of the Florida-based Haba Law Firm, told The Epoch Times.
“We don’t find this to be a violation of our policies, and we’re going to take no further action,” Twitter responded days later.
Doe, who is identified with a pseudonym in the legal filing as a 16-year-old Florida resident, was solicited on Snapchat and recruited for sex trafficking as a minor. But after he escaped from the manipulation, child sexual abuse videos from the time when he was 13 were disseminated on Twitter last January in posts published under the Twitter handles @StraightBross and @fitmalesblog.
The videos amassed over 167,000 views and over 2,200 retweets before the involvement of the Department of Homeland Security finally pressured Twitter to remove them.

Back in 2011-12 I asked Pamela Geller what to do when Facebook started to block me for weeks. Geller responded to me saying Fight On !.
So I opened a second account with a different email and a third and a fourth and a fifth.
Ultimately I had 10 Facebook accounts under my name or that of my grandfather from my mothers side.
Facebook killed the last one along with ten facebook groups I solely administered totalling 20.000 members / friends just a month ago.
Now I am since two weeks on Gab and already have 3.800 friends. On Facebook that took 4 years !
