Ex-Rep. Tenney Wins by 106 Votes in Nail-Biting NY-22 Race
With all ballots counted in the heated race for Congress in New York’s 22nd District (Utica), Republican former Rep. Claudia Tenney defeated Democrat Rep. Anthony Brindisi by 106 votes out of more than 300,000 cast.
Story continues below advertisementThe rematch between Tenney and Brindisi — who unseated her by about 4,500 votes in 2018— is the second closest in the nation. The closest is in Iowa’s 2nd District, where Republican Mariannette Miller-Meeks leads Democrat Rita Hart by 47 votes as the race is now being recounted.
Empire State sources told Newsmax that the tightness of the Tenney-Brindisi race will almost surely necessitate a recount
Almost incredibly, Tenney led Brindisi by a healthy 48,422 votes, or a margin of 53% to 43%, on election night. But the steady counting of absentee, mail-in, overseas, and military ballots has reduced that margin to its present wafer-thin margin.
“Now that every vote has been counted, we have maintained the vote lead and are poised to come out victorious,” read a statement from Tenney.
Brindisi countered by saying “the margin is too close to rush to judgement.”

another load of bullshit !!!! ahead by 48 thou when election night ended then for days afterward all these other ballots just show up. yeah right…Hell thyis just goes to show that you could walk up to some county clerk 6 months after an election and turn in your late ballot and still have it counted. Federal election law states that november 3rd is election day not the fourth thru the 31 of decembers or even into next march or april. anything that comes in after 1200 am on the 4th of november should be thrown into the trash and destroyed no matter what. if people are still waiting in line to vote that’s an entirely different matter and they are allowed by law to stay and vote till the line is gone.

I read in the NY Post this morning that some how absentee ballots flooded into the counting and lead is now razor thin as most ballots were for Democrat. Sounds like a replay of Biden in Philadelphia.
Yet my stupid suburban are voted for a black gay ultra progressive to replace Nita Lowery. I live in the highest taxed area of America. The voters in my area are so stupid. Thus guy supprtsvwasting trillions on green new deal and aligned with AOC.

Trump in NY just like last time and in some states he lost has won the majority of the counties. It us the cities that keep staying in Democrat plantation year after year. Trump got more black votes but 82% still voted for Biden,
The Democrats see the map and that us why they push for removing electoral college.
