John Kerry mocked for 2016 claim that ‘there will be no separate peace’ between Israel-Arab nations without the Palestinians

Former Secretary of State John Kerry was panned on Wednesday for remarks he previously made declaring there would be no Middle East peace without the Palestinians.
On Tuesday, President Trump was joined by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, United Arab Emirates (UAE) Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahyan, and Bahrain Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalif to sign the Abraham Accords, something the president hailed as the “dawn of a new Middle East.”
The next day, however, a 2016 clip of Kerry resurfaced that cast doubt that any peace between Israel and the Arab world was possible without Palestinians being onboard.
“There will be no separate peace between Israel and the Arab world,” Kerry began at a speaking engagement. “I want to make that very clear with all of you. I’ve heard several prominent politicians in Israel sometimes saying, ‘Well, the Arab world is in a different place now. We just have to reach out to them. We can work some things with the Arab world and we’ll deal with the Palestinians.’ No. No, no, and no.”
He continued, “I can tell you that, reaffirmed within the last week because I’ve talked to the leaders of the Arab community, there will be no advanced and separate peace with the Arab world without the Palestinian process and Palestinian peace. Everybody needs to understand that. That is a hard reality.”

The clip, which was shared by Institute for Policy & Strategy senior fellow Udi Evental, went viral with critics slamming the then-Obama official’s debunked declaration.

Iran’s proxy army Hezzzzzzzbolah still rules in Gaza. They are still at war with Israel.
Iran’s proxy army Hamas still rules in Lebanon. They are still at war with Israel.
Palestinians are scattered in many other countries they do not control and they do not consent to peace.

How do you figure that Kerry was right? Here you have two Arab nations that have recognized Israel this week (or at least formally agreed to do so). Others seem likely to join the process, although it will take longer, but we’ve seen evidence recently that shows Kerry’s pronouncement to be the balderdash that it is and was.
Simply because the current round of agreements don’t resolve all issues between Israel and Arabs doesn’t mean Kerry wasn’t arrantly wrong, even stupidly so (he seemed so sure of himself, when in reality he had nary a clue).

Oner thing that concerns me is the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah. Muslims look to Muhammad for everything and this historical fact concerns me. Thanks to a former Muslim, Shahram Hadian and an Arabic speaking Egyptian, Usama Dakdok, both Christians, I never trust Muslims.

The muslums committed pogroms against Jews in Yerushalem in the 1920’s BEFORE the formation of the modern state of Israel. Zev Jabotinsky was arrested by the British for trying to form self-defense forces for the Jews living there. Then there’s the Farhud pogrom, committed by Bahdadi muslums against the Jewish population living there in 1942 or thereabouts.

I heard some 30 or so years ago that it was the Romans that called the Philistines the Palestinians. Was the one nation that the Israelites were told by G-d to kill off, but did not?
