Report: Bahrain next to announce normalization with Israel

Bahrain is expected to become the next Gulf kingdom to formally normalize ties with Israel, an Israeli official told Kan public broadcaster Wednesday.
According to the report, the kingdom is expected to announce the move after an accord between Israel and the United Arab Emirates is signed.
The official is cited as saying that Washington seeks to host Israeli and UAE officials at the signing ceremony at the White House in mid-September before the Jewish New Year.The official is cited as saying that Washington seeks to host Israeli and UAE officials at the signing ceremony at the White House in mid-September before the Jewish New Year.The Gulf kingdom reiterated its commitment to a two-state solution and backed the Arab Peace Initiative which promoted normalization of relations between Israel and Muslim nations after the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.UAE officials assured local Palestinian community representatives that the Gulf nation was still backing the Palestinian bid for statehood, and the normalization of relations with Israel had not come at the expense of that ultimate goal.

All this financial normalization among MUSLIM countries is great including the sharing of air space etc. BUT Muslims still want a two state solution for “Palestine”. What this agreement with the Muslim countries has done is unite them over Iran financially. Muslim countries and Israel fear crazy Iran.
The sticking point remains over a two state solution and P.M’s Netanyahu annexation. That issue is just being put off. Some Muslim countries will sign off on the agreement and the U.S. will serve as a signatory witness to their agreement. We are not part of the agreement with these Muslim countries. I am skeptical that money will over rule Allah’s hatred of Jews, Christians and other disbelievers in their Quran. We’ll see…

It depends on how you look at it. RIght now it looks good for Trump until you dig into the details. Most people prefer simplistic sound bites and short shallow articles.

What is the Gaza Strip but the fulfillment of the “two state” solution? Those rocket and mortar rounds certainly aren’t being fired into Israel with Israeli approval.
And maybe in the long run, the two state solution is nothing but a step towards a one state solution, one piece at a time.

Mystery of ‘magnificent palace’ found in Jerusalem

Israeli archaeologists have discovered what they say is evidence of a “magnificent” palace from the era of a Biblical Jewish kingdom in Jerusalem.
Elaborately carved stone structures and other relics associated with such a building were found about 3km (2 miles) south of Jerusalem’s Old City.
The archaeologists say some of the artifacts had been neatly buried, although they do not know why.
The palace is thought to have been built around the 8th or 7th Century BC.

Some researchers believe the structure was built between the reigns of kings Hezekiah and Josiah, after the Assyrian siege of Jerusalem in 701 BC. While the pillar heads are in excellent condition, the rest of the building was demolished.
