After Maskless Selfie, Delta Air Lines Bans SEAL Who Killed Bin Laden
Robert O’Neill, the former Navy SEAL who claimed to have killed Osama bin Laden, said Thursday that he was banned from Delta Air Lines after he posted a picture of himself on one of their planes without a mask.

“I just got banned from [Delta] for posting a picture. Wow,” O’Neill tweeted.

A spokesman for Delta confirmed the ban to The Daily Wire, adding, “Part of every customer’s commitment prior to traveling on Delta is the requirement to acknowledge our updated travel policies, which includes wearing a mask.”
According to its website, Delta requires masks for both employees and customers. “Delta customers and employees are required to wear a face mask, or appropriate cloth face covering over their nose and mouth throughout their travel, aligning with best practice guidelines from the CDC,” their COVID-19 FAQ reads in part.
O’Neill was apparently referencing a since-deleted photo he tweeted Wednesday that depicted him on a Delta plane without a mask. As The Daily Wire reported, O’Neill posted the picture with the caption “I’m not a p*ssy.”
The comment stoked backlash from many users online, including from Dan Saltzstein, a New York Times deputy editor who wrote, “I don’t know this guy but: counterpoint, you might just be because you’re not willing to sacrifice and be a little uncomfortable for your fellow humans (including that marine behind you)!”
Saltzstein later deleted his tweet and honored O’Neill’s heroism and sacrifice for his country, but maintained, “It’s sad that he can’t extend the same for the safety of his fellow passengers.”
O’Neill later deleted the picture of himself without the mask, claiming that his wife did it.
The Daily Wire also reported:
In tweets also since deleted, O’Neill went off on China and the coronavirus, writing, “China told you to wear a mask. Look down… you’re wearing a mask. I’m not.”
“Make no mistake.. this ‘pandemic’ was sent to you by China,” he went on, adding, “Do you remember the complete, incompetent morons buying all of the toilet paper? They’re the ones telling you to wear masks now.”
“I’m not being rude… I’m just telling you facts,” he maintained.
O’Neill also told his many Twitter followers, “I know more about biological warfare than most of you. We were trained. These dumb ass masks do nothing. Nothing,” and insisted a bandana “does more harm than good.”
“I’m not afraid of the mob,” O’Neill eventually wrote after facing backlash. “Come get some.” He also said in a series of tweets, “There is a time to act. Who’s with me?” and “I shook thousands of hands and gave thousands of hugs this week. I flew on some planes. I’ll be alive next week.”

Even super tough guys can be taken out by a microscopic attacker. Personally, I hate the damn things but I do wear one according to the social distancing rules. Mr. O’Neil touched on China. I get depressed just thinking about the possibility that for a long time the US will look like any photo you see of of a Chinese street scene.

The global death rate is less than 0.1% – this is not a killer virus. The whole world has never shut down before, and even more distressing is that it has now over such a mild virus. When things don’t add up there is something else going on.

When some of us started to realize months ago that this virus was being politicized we were called paranoid because it was just “until we flatten the curve”. Now, 5 months in, we’re called “selfish” for refusing to slap a rug over our faces everywhere we go. Who’s paranoid now?

You are ill informed it is deadly to the vulnerable and even young people have died from it. Also studies are showing that it can leave lasting damage to the body even in those that recover. It cannot be dismissed as ‘mild’ virus. We do not knwo everything avout it and new evidence is being revealed all the time. So STFU with your conspiracy implications

People die from myriad causes so what’s your point. Your right, people do die from the Chinese virus but as gaz thewoodsman said it is only 0.1% which is also right.

Maybe you can tell us how many young people have died from it and share with us all this new data to which you are privileged.
FYI the leading cause of death among young people is motor vehicle accidents. That is followed by gun shots. Let us know when the number of dead young people from coronavirus gets to the same number.

Lady, masks do far more damage over the long term – a permanent compromising of immune systems, all sorts of other infections including eye infections that lead to permanent blindness and tooth decay / gum diseases of the type usually associated with meth addicts. They are an indicator of a society that has gone full totalitarian – just like China.

You are the one that is “ill informed.” Perhaps, you should turn off the droning CNN for five minutes and look at what doctors are saying. There is a HUGE difference in dying ‘with’ COVID, as opposed to dying ‘from’ COVID. But, you won’t get that on CNN. When people are diagnosed as a COVID-related death after a motorcycle accident, you can no longer take any statistics seriously what they are putting out. And yes, it IS a mild virus. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid, if it’s not too late for you and learn for yourself.

I still would love to know why no one at the federal level has not come out and pointed out that these mask mandates by private business constitutes a violation of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. A private business that provides service and or goods to the public is not free to deny those services to anyone at their discretion. These mask mandates are not laws yet the businesses are telling people (in violation of civil rights law) that they can deny service to anyone of their choosing – and they choose to deny service if you do not wear a mask! What is it going to take to get this issue addressed?
I just read that the owner of one business has posted signs that he will DENY entry to anyone wearing a mask. And in Florida there is a sheriff who has forbidden his cops from wearing masks. There is a reason that criminals hide their faces!

It’s not just criminals, anarchists and terrorists that wear masks. So do kidnap victims and submissives in S&M bondage rituals. They are in this context an emblem of slavery, a sign of submssion and subservience and subjugation, a mark of inferior second-class status, a surrender to tyranny, an indicator of herd mentality, and an open manifestation of fear – fear of living, fear of the outside world, fear of everything and everybody around them, fear of any human contact (haphephobia) and above all, a fear of their government which Jefferson had said was the ultimate definition of tyranny.
What we are witness to is maskless people now being rendered as second-class (or worse) citizens, with no rights whatsoever, subject to vicious discrimination and, in some extreme cases, even physical violence. They are today’s equivalent of 1930’s German Jews, and of blacks of the time of the most vicious Jim Crow segregation in effect in the Deep South.

I have done a lot of reading about the 3rd Reich and this is a total replay of what took place. I completely agree with you that not wearing a mask makes you the equivalent of the German Jews in WWII. I am part Black and it also reminds me of my experiences living in the South in the 50s. I remember going into the office of an Eye Doctor (with my White father) and having the receptionist redirect us to another waiting room that was unmarked. That room had uncomfortable auditorium style chairs and a single little excuse for a coffee table. It had no AC and people were packed in like sardines. That is when I realized that I was considered to be Black and treated with scorn. It was totally demeaning and I will never forget it.

Oh yes you are completely on target about how it felt to be treated like a pariah under segregation. Having people move away and look at you with scorn for not wearing a mask is exactly what it felt like to be part Black in a segregated world. It is the first thing that I said when this mask mandate started but you do not hear people talking about the similarities to segregation.

It is wonderful to meet another scholar of history. If you are interested in the 3rd Reich there are 3 books that you may wish to read if you have not already done so: The Art of the Third Reich; The Nazi doctors; The language of oppression. There are also great fictional works by Leon Uris that delves into the issue of what makes people turn on their neighbors that they have known for years.

Yes but these things were not as traumatic as you may think because I did not know what was going on at the time.
Having a White father I went wherever he took me. No one was going to tell him that he could not bring his child in because she had honey toned skin. He took me to the all White amusement park but I did not realize that until I was an adult. When we went to the eye doctor and got redirected I did not realize that it was because the secretary recognized me as being racially mixed. I had to slowly put it all together, along with other incidents – then I got mad.
But that is how life was and when I did realize that I was being discriminated against I just made up my mind to do the best that I could do and hopefully surpass the masses..
