Reverse Confetti July Blog Hop

Hello there!  It's release day at Reverse Confetti and as usual, we are celebrating with a blog hop! All of the  new release goodies are available now in the Reverse Confetti store and at your favorite retailers!

I have another card to share with you using the adorable Dog Days and Dog Days Sentiments stamp sets.  To create this card, I diecut a piece of white cardstock using the Stitched Rays Cover Panel.  I inked it with Salvaged Patina Distress ink.  I tore a piece of kraft cardstock and inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink.  I also splattered it with Vintage Photo and white acrylic paint to create the look of sand.  I adhered it to the bottom of the panel, then diecut the Big Sun Confetti Cuts die from light yellow cardstock.  I inked the center and edges with Wild Honey Distress ink and adhered it to the upper right of the panel.  Then, I stamped and colored several images from Dog Days and diecut them with the coordinating Dog Days Confetti Cuts dies.

Reverse Confetti Dog Days

I stamped and diecut a trio clouds from the Rainy Day Fun stamp set and added them to the scene too.  I sentiment from Dog Days Sentiments was stamped in black ink onto a white diecut banner.  To finish off this card, I added white gel pen accents, and some Diamond Stickles to the clouds.  I also couldn't resist adding Glossy Accents to the dog's sunglasses, too!

Countdown to Confetti - Dog Days & Dog Days Sentiments

Hello there!  Welcome to day 3 of the Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti!  Today, I am featuring what may be one of my  most favorite RC sets ever, Dog Days.  It will be available tomorrow, July 15th in the Reverse Confetti store, along with the rest of the July release, which is pretty darn awesome!

To create my first card, I started off by diecutting the Along the  Dotted Lines Cover Panel from white cardstock.  Then, I used the Circle of Waves Confetti Cuts die to set my scene.  I diecut the circle from white cardstock and used Distress ink in shades of Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Vintage Photo to color each wave.  I stamped the adorable little dog with his surf board and the palm tree image and the beach ball from the new Dog Days stamp set, and colored them with my Copic markers before diecutting them with the coordinating Dog Days Confetti Cuts dies.  I also pulled out my Rainy Day Fun stamp set, and stamped and colored a few clouds and the water puddle.

Reverse Confetti Dog Days

I arranged my images to create the scene and once I was happy with the arrangement, I glue some down flat with a glue pen and popped others up with foam tape.  I stamped a sentiment from the new Dog Days Sentiments stamp set in black ink on white cardstock and popped that up in the top right of the scene.  To finish off the card, I added some white gel pen accents and some Diamond Stickles to the clouds and puddle.  I also used Glossy Accents on his sunglasses for some added fun.

To create my second card, I stated of by diecutting the new Deco Cover Panel from white cardstock. I used the same shades of Distress ink to add color to the sky.  For the sand, I tore a piece of kraft cardstock, added some Vintage Photo ink to the top, then splattered it with more Vintage Photo and some white acrylic paint to create the look of sand.  I stamped the adorable little dog with his innertube from Dog Days, the clouds, sun  and water puddle from Rainy Day Fun, and then, I pulled out the Let's Shellabrate stamp set.  The sea grass, ropes and seagull are a perfect compliment to the Dog Days stamp set!  There are so many scene building possibilities with them!

Reverse Confetti Dog Days

I arranged the scene adhering some pieces down with glue and others with foam tape.  A sentiment from Dog Days Sentiments was stamped on a diecut banner and added to the left side of the panel.  To finish off this card, I added white gel pen accents, Diamond Stickles and Glossy Accents to his glasses.

I truly had SO much fun creating this pair of cards! :)

Reverse Confetti Birthday Blog Hop!

Hello there!  Today is the day!! It's release day at Reverse Confetti!  All of the new goodies that we have been showcasing over the last few days are available in the Reverse Confetti store and at your favorite retailers NOW!  This month, we are celebrating RC's 9th birthday and have lots of special guests for the party, AND a FREE gift with $60 purchase stamp set, All You Need.

My cards today feature the All You Need stamp set, and both feature a critter from the newly released Birthday Buddies stamp set as well!

Reverse Confetti May 2022

For my first card, I started off by diecutting a piece of white cardstock to 4" x 5.25".  I inked the edges with Blueprint Sketch Distress ink.  I stamped the sentiment from All You Need in black ink in the center of the panel, then used a cloud stamp from my stash to add clouds to the sky around the sentiment.  I stamped and colored the adorable bee from the Birthday Buddies stamp set and diecut him with the coordinating Birthday Buddies Confetti Cuts die before popping him up on the little flower in the sentiment.  Then, I mounted the panel on an A2 card base which I backed with patterned paper to pull more red into the design.  To finish off this card, I added a scattering of tiny clay hearts and some white gel pen accents.

Reverse Confetti May 2022

For my second card, I stamped the sentiment from All You Need in black ink in a white A2 card base.  Under the sentiment, I added a strip of patterned paper to ground the adorable little cat image from Birthday Buddies.  I popped him up in place of the flower in the sentiment to stretch my stamp a bit more and make it more versatile.  To finish off the card, I added more tiny clay hearts and gel pen accents.

That's all for me today!  But be sure to hop along to visit the rest of the Crew and our special guests to see what they have to share with you today!  Thanks for stopping by! :)

Hello there!  It's day 3 of the Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti!  All of the new goodies that we will be showcasing over the next few days will be available in the Reverse Confetti store and at your favorite retailers on May 8th!  This month, we are celebrating RC's 9th birthday and have lots of special guests for the party, AND a FREE gift with purchase stamp set, All You Need.

Today, we are showcasing the new Love Wins stamp set and coordinating dies.  With every purchase of this stamp set, Reverse Confetti will make a donation to both the Human Rights Campaign and The Trevor Project.

Here are the two cards that I made with this set.  Please read on to see how I created them! :)

Reverse Confetti May 2022

To create this card, I started off by diecutting white cardstock with the Along the Dotted Lines Cover Panel.  From that panel, I diecut the largest heart from the Postal Cover Panel and behind it, I adhered rainbow stripes created with the new Large Rainbow Circle Confetti Cuts dies.  I stamped and colored images from the Love Wins stamp set and diecut them with the Love Wins Confetti Cuts dies. I popped them up with foam tape, and added a sentiment from the set.  To finish off the card, I added some white gel pen accents.

Reverse Confetti May 2022

My second card uses some older dies along with Love Wins.  To create this card, I diecut the Stitched Rays Cover Panel from white cardstock, then ink blended some blue ink in the center of the rays before splattering the panel with more blue ink.  I used the diecut heart from the Postal Cover Panel that was left over from the previous card to anchor the rainbow from the Love Wins stamp set, which I colored and diecut with the coordinating Love Wins Confetti Cuts dies.  I framed the panel with the Head in the Clouds Cover Panel.  I popped it up with foam tape, and added a few diecut flowers from the set along with a scattering of tiny clay hearts to finish off the card.

Countdown to Confetti - Day 2

Hello there!  It's day 2 of the Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti!

First up, I have a card using the new Wildflowers stamp set.  To create this card, I started out by diecutting a piece of white cardstock with the new Folklore Cover Panel Confetti Cuts die.  I splattered it with black watercolor and let it aside to dry.  I stamped the large floral arrangement from the Wildflowers stamp set, colored it with copic markers, and diecut it with the coordinating Wildflowers Confetti Cuts dies.  I popped the flowers up on the Folklore panel with foam tape.  Then, I stamped and  colored the smaller butterfly from the new A Beautiful Day stamp set, diecut it with the coordinating A Beautiful Day Confetti Cuts dies, and popped that up with foam tape too.  I used a heart shaped flight trail from the previously released Love Bugs stamp set as well.

Reverse Confetti May 2022

The sentiment is a combination of a sentiment from the new Roses stamp set, along with the new Layered Friend Confetti Cuts.  I stamped the sentiment in black on a white banner diecut, and diecut the word Friend from black, which I layered with a white shadow.  Everything was popped up with foam tape, and white gel pen accents were added before I adhered the panel to an A2 card base.

Reverse Confetti May 2022

My next card features the floral cluster and another sentiment from the new Roses stamp set.  To create this card, I used the Folklore Cover Panel again, cut from white. This time, I splattered it with gold watercolor.  I added a tiny strip of gold glitter paper to the left edge.  The large cluster of roses were colored with peach and coral shades of copic markers, and diecut with the coordinating Roses Confetti Cuts dies.

Reverse Confetti May 2022

I popped the roses up with foam tape, and heat embossed a sentiment from the set in gold embossing powder on a white banner diecut.   To finish off the card, I added white gel pen accents and a scattering of gold metallic sequins before adhering it to an A2 card base.

Countdown to Confetti - Day 1

Hello there!  It's day 1 of the Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti!  All of the new goodies that we will be showcasing over the next few days will be available in the Reverse Confetti store and at your favorite retailers on May 8th!  This month, we are celebrating RC's 9th birthday and have lots of special guests for the party, AND a FREE gift with purchase stamp set!

Today, my projects showcase the new Birthday Buddies and Birthday Buddies Banter stamp sets, and a few fun new dies.

Here is my card and coordinating tag.  Read on to see how I made each one! :)

Reverse Confetti May 2022

To create the card, I started of by splattering a bunch of different rainbow watercolors onto a piece of white cardstock, then I diecut it with the new Circle Gift Card Holder Confetti Cuts die.  I tucked a gift card in the slot, and decorated around it with images from the new Birthday Buddies stamp set.  They were diecut using the coordinating Birthday Buddies Confetti Cuts dies, and popped up with foam tape.  I added a sentiment from the Birthday Buddies Banter stamp set on a diecut banner, and added some diecut confetti and streamers using the Big Confetti Tag Confetti Cuts die.  Then, I mounted it onto a bright yellow A2 card base, and added some white gel pen accents to finish it off.

Reverse Confetti May 2022

For the coordinating Tag, I diecut the large tag shape from the Big Confetti Tag die set from the same yellow cardstock, and the smaller tag from the set from the watercolor splatter paper I created.  I glued them together with a glue pen, then added images from Birthday Buddies popped up with foam tape.  The sentiment on this tag is also from the Birthday Buddies Banter stamp set.  More diecut confetti and some white gel pen accents finish off the tag.
