I am so terribly sorry to hear about Shannon's passing. How sad I am for you to lose your baby girl. I have a daughter 23 how started having seizures about two years ago. She won't go to the doctor as she tried that and they put her on horrible medicine that made her feel so bad she wanted to die and prayed for it. God bless you. Leslie Markland
Thank you for taking the time to share this terrible loss with all of Shannon's followers. Though I have never met her, I will miss her talented artwork.
Although I have never met Shannon, I truly enjoyed visiting her blog and lurking at her wonderful artwork. It saddens me to hear that a CTMH sister has passed! I will keep you all in my prayers!
May God bless you all and your family in this trying time!
I am so sad to hear about Shannon passing. Thank you for sharing. I want you to know that I had just found Shannon because of her posting in April with the layout that had the words Laugh in red. Such beautiful work and so talented.
I pray you will find comfort and strength in the Lord.
I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I enjoyed the updates I received from Shannon's blog and thought she was very talented and creative. Your family is in my family's thoughts and prayers. May God be with you at this time.

I'm very sorry to hear of Shannon's passing. I will always remember Shannon and her talent, but most of all, her willingness to share ideas and help with others. I saw Shannon's Aspen layout on the CTMH boards and commented on it with a question. She not only replied on the bulletin board, but replied to me directly via email. She was very helpful and so willing to share her ideas and techniques. She will be missed, and your family is in my prayers. Michelle Robinson a fellow CTMH "Sis"
I posted on the CTMH board and have had several comments that I wanted to pass onto the blog in hopes that the family will know how much people loved her and all her sisters will miss her!
She had great artwork, an amazing relationship with her mom, loved her sister & paid tribute to others artwork that she got inspired from. All this I got from simply reading her blog. She'll be missed. Brandy Lees www.brandy.myctmh.com
It is so sad! Her artwork was wonderful. I followed her blog on Google Reader and loved her creations.

My heart and prayers go out to her family. What a great mom and what a great relationship they had! I am very touched that the last gift Shannon gave to her mother was a Thank You stamp set... The sentiments are basically Shanon's last words and will be there forever for Shannon's mom to read and reread to find comfort.
Thanks for posting, Denise!!

Oh my...how sad! Thanks for letting us know Denise...our prayers are heading up for the family.
I'm so sorry to hear about Shannon's passing. I've totally enjoyed seeing her artwork and checking out her blog. She never knew how many lives she changed and affected, as I've "scraplifted" her work and shared at clubs and how many people enjoyed them and have tweaked them to make them their own.
Matter of fact, I was going to email Shannon and chat about WI,(as I've got family all over WI) and wondered where she lived and wondered if she was close when we visit I could see a CTMH sister. But never got chance with kids getting sick and getting ready for oldest to have surgery.
I can't imagine loosing a daughter and what you and your family are going through.
God's hands are upon you and yours and carrying you through this difficult time.
I am so very very sorry to hear of Shannon's passing. She was such an inspiration with her artwork. I enjoyed visiting her blog and seeing all her latest creations. I will miss her terribly. God Bless you. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Leanne Eisler
I can hardly express how shocked and saddened I am by this news. How brave and wonderful for you to share this with her cyber friends. I have known Shannon for years in our cyber stamping circles. I have enjoyed her humor and her creations. I will always remember her as being one with a positive attitude and willing heart. She will be missed, but I know that she is kept in the arms of her Father in Heaven. May you find comfort in knowing how much she was loved by those who knew her in our creative world. Hugs and prayers.
My heart is heavy as I am saddened that a talented, helpful, fun-loving, artist, friend, and CTMH sister has been taken from us.
You and your family are in our thoughts & prayers. Thank you for the strength you have given us by sharing this unfortunate news to her vitual "family".
May Shannon continue to live on in her artwork & find comfort in the knowledge another angel is amoung us.
Words cannot express how terribly sad I am that we have lost such a beautiful artistic soul. I have known Shannon for a few years through the virtual convention I host each summer. She has always been happy, helpful and a joy to know - she will be missed tremendously! Your family are all in my prayers...
I am shocked and saddened by your news. May you find comfort and strength in God, for through Him all things are possible. Shannon will be greatly missed. I am so sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry that you have lost your daughter and dearest friend. May the Lord give you comfort and strength during this time and as the days and years pass.
I don't know what to say except I am so terribly sorry for your loss and sick that she is gone. She has always been a vital part of the CTMH Help group. Please know my prayers are with your family.
Oh, I am so terribly sad to hear this. You are right, she was an incredible scrapbooker and stamper. I printed and cased her "Laughter" layout (with a few twists) for some photos of my son's first Valentines day with a real girlfriend (he's only 10) and it is one of my all time favorites. I can only imagine your sorrow and I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Misty Blankenship

Hi, I am Shannon's Mom, her greatest fan, her best customer. It is with great saddness that I have to tell you that Shannon passed away on June 18th, 2009. About 2 weeks before she died she had a seizure, and ended up in the hospital for 4 days. She had never had a seizure before. She was taking meds for it and seeing the doctors and doing everything that she was suppose to do. I was with her the last evening, she had a Dr. apt and we went out for dinner and then came back to her place to wait for our "goodies" to come. We were waiting for our Close to My Heart order to come in. When it came she had bought me the stamp set Thank You and said thank you for all you have been doing for me. I gave her a big hug and kiss helped her straighten things up and had to get home because we both had to work in the morning. We got a call from her boss telling us that Shannon didn't make it into work the next morning. We went and checked on her and found her. I would like to thank everyone who ever looked at her blog, especially those of you who wrote a comment about her work. She looked so forward to your comments, you can't immagine how you affect someones life with your kind words. The world has lost a great stamper and scrapbooker. I truely miss her we were always together or on the phone tossing ideas around or working on a page or card, or lately her sisters pages for her wedding album. I do not have answers, just lots of questions, I can only put my faith and trust in the Lord and know she is in his arms now. I love you Shannon and I miss you very much. Mom *:*
