1 Set 4 Ways Episode 11 - Beeline to Your Heart

Hey friends, today I'm bringing back my 1 Set 4 Ways Series featuring the adorable MFT Beeline to Your Heart illustrated by Jenoblade. I got this set in the mail the other day and I was so excited to play with it that I just couldn't stop at designing one card. I had to keep going. If you want to see the entire process of going from one card idea to four, including deciding on the layouts and choosing my supplies, you can find the Plan a Card with Me x4 video using that link.

So after I figured out the layouts of these cards and which images I would be using for each, I stamped them all out using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and colored them with Copic markers to match some patterned paper from the Carta Bella Here, There, and Everywhere 6x6. To keep the cards unified, I used the same paper pad for all of the cards, but I chose different patterns to mix for each one. I trimmed out the images with the matching dies.

Another way that I kept the cards cohesive is by using the same size and design focal panels. I started by trimming down Bristol Cardstock with the MFT A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2. Then I used the Rolling Clouds Stencil to add Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink for the sky. For the ground I used the Drifts & Hills Stencil with Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness.

The last way I tied the cards together was by using the same Lawn Fawn Sticky Note Cardstock for all four card bases. I stamped additional images and sentiments on the inside with Sunflower Ink. Then I layered on my patterned paper, using two prints for each card. I popped the focal panel up with foam tape, glued down my images, and finished with some Stardust Stickles.

Because I used those similar designs and products for all the cards, they would make a great set to give to someone as a gift, or they can be used to build up your stash and sent out individually. Either way! If you'd like to see how they all came together, click below or find the video HERE on YouTube. I really hope you enjoy it! Thanks so much for watching!

Plan a Card with Me x 4

Hey friends, today I'm sharing another Plan a Card with me video. This time I'm coming up with not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR card ideas at once using the MFT Beeline to Your Heart stamp set illustrated by Jenoblade. Which means that Friday's video will be a 1 Set 4 Ways, which I haven't done in a while because they are so time-consuming to film, but I was just that excited about these images! I hope you enjoy this video, walking you through each layout and supply as I prepare to make four cards using one super adorable stamp set. Check it out down below or find it HERE on my YouTube channel.

2023 Holiday Card Series #13

Hey friends, welcome to Day 13 of my 2023 Holiday Card Series! Today's card features an adorable image illustrated by Rachelle Anne Miller for MFT called Cute & Cuddly Christmas. Isn't it so sweet? I stamped it on a Lawn Fawn Circle Stackable and colored it with my Copic markers to match some Echo Park Christmas Time 6x6 patterned paper.

Then I chose a few more prints of the patterned paper to layer on my card front. I trimmed down the cardinal print and stripe with the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables, then selectively die cut the bottom of the buffalo plaid print with the Stitched Party Banners. I also cut out a Scalloped Circle Stackable and adhered my focal panel to that, then popped it up on foam tape. I white heat embossed my sentiment onto an Everyday Sentiment Banner and finished the card with some enamel dots and Stardust Stickles.

2023 Holiday Card Series #3

Hey friends, today I'm excited to bring you Day 3 of my 2023 Holiday Card Series! This MFT Gnome for the Holidays was one of the sets I was most excited about using this Christmas season. I just think these images are so sweet! I stamped them out in Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink, colored with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Next I chose four different prints from the DCWV Down the Chimney 6x6 patterned paper pad. The snowflake I trimmed down with the largest Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables and added a Simple Stitched Hillside Border. I stamped my sentiment at the bottom in Plastic Flamingo Ink. The other three prints I trimmed down with the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and layered onto my card front. Then I finished with a bit of white gel pen details and some Stardust Stickles.

Making a Card with Leftover Colored Images

Hey friends, today I have a bit of a different video for you. I wanted to use some pre-colored images that have been sitting on my desk for a very long time -- some of them for YEARS -- and try to create a card. This is so out of my usual routine for card making. I normally come up with a concept first, then choose my supplies, then color my images to match. I find it really challenging to color the images without that concept in mind, which is why when I do, the images just sit there in my little dish on my desk forever.

But today I'm busting out of my comfort zone, using a couple images from a MFT Birdie Brown stamp set that is sadly no longer available. Still I thought the images were too cute not to use. I combined it with a background that I also created probably a year ago and has just been sitting in my desk ever since. Hopefully the tips I share in this video will inspire you to create a few cards using your own leftover images and backgrounds.

All of the supplies that I could find links for will be listed in the video description over on YouTube, so be sure to check that out if you are looking for any of these items. Especially that gorgeous, bold floral patterned paper from the Simple Stories Bunnies + Blooms 6x8 pad. I really hope you enjoy this real-time card making process video! Thanks so much for watching!

Birthday Friends Card

Hey friends, today I'm excited a fun, travel-themed birthday card using the new I'm Glad We Fit In stamp set from My Favorite Things. I colored the images with Copic markers to match some patterned paper from the Carta Bella Here, There, and Everywhere 6x6 pad, then trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I die cut some Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 and used the Cloud Stencil with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to do the sky. Then I used the Drifts & Hills Stencil with Rustic Wilderness and Bundled Sage for the grass, and Hickory Smoke for the road. I stamped a sentiment from Presents & Pupcakes at the bottom and layered this panel over the patterned paper.

Hey friends, it's time for the May edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! The moment I saw the new Peaceful Birds by Stacey Yacula, I fell instantly in love. What a sweet set. I knew I had to use it for this month's card. I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I used the Cloud Stencil and blended Spun Sugar and Saltwater Taffy Distress Inks onto the sky. Then I used Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness with the Drifts & Hills Stencil for the ground. Hey friends, today I'm so happy to be over on the MFT YouTube channel with the March edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things, and as a huge dog lover, this card was so much fun to create! Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things - February

Hey friends, today I'm so happy to be over on the MFT Stamps YouTube channel with the February edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! This month I wanted to feature the adorable food images from We Make A Great Combo. There are so many options to choose from, but I went with the cheeseburger, fries, and soda. I colored them in with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I die cut one of the Mini Slimline Double Stitched Rectangle STAX and blended on a little Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. Then I blended Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink onto another panel to use as a layering element and adhered both to a Red Hot card base. I added my images and finished with a sentiment stamped on a strip of Kraft Cardstock.

Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things - January

Hey friends, I'm back with my second video of the day, this one over on the MFT Stamps YouTube Channel. That's right, it's time for the January edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! I was so excited to be asked back for another year, and I was feeling the love with this card, starring the new YUZU Hunny Bunny stamp set. Isn't it darling? I wanted to go for a coral and lavender color palette on this one, so I colored the images with Copic marker and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I tool a panel of Bristol Smooth Surface cardstock and blended on Distress Oxide Inks in Shaded Lilac and Dusty Concord. Then I trimmed it down with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX. I glued that down to a Grapesicle card base, then popped my images up with foam tape. To finish this one off, I added an Essential Stitched Sentiment Strip, some iridescent heart confetti, and a little Stardust Stickles.

Hey friends, today I'm so thrilled to be over on the MFT Stamps YouTube Channel with the December edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! Then I stamped a heart pattern using Kitsch Flamingo. I stamped a sentiment and popped this panel up over some Pretty In Plaid patterned paper. Hello friends, today I'm so happy to be on the MFT Stamps YouTube channel with the November edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! I stamped all the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I white heat embossed the Snow Flurry Background onto Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock. Then I added Distress Inks for an emboss resist technique.
