There is really only one question that matters at the heart of the U.S. position toward Ukraine and NATO. It was asked halfway through the press conference with Jennifer Psaki today.
“Considering that NATO allies have not held up their own agreement to spend 2 percent of their own GDP on their military preparedness … if Europeans are not willing to expend their own blood and treasure on their own self-defense why should Americans be expected to do so?”
Spoiler Alert… The White House could not answer the question. Jen Psaki hemmed, hawed, and attempted to use verbal linguistics to assemble previously over-used soundbites, but she could not -and did not- answer that question. WATCH:

The honest answer would be… We, in the Biden and Obama administration, are doing all this stuff in Ukraine, for Ukraine and under the auspices of protecting Ukraine, because a whole bunch of us from both political parties in/around the DC beltway – along with our families – receive massive amounts of personal financial wealth from the DC money laundering operation of foreign aid money in/around Ukraine.
That’s the real answer, and the reason Psaki cannot reconcile the easiest question publicly. The NATO members also know that American politicians enrich themselves and their families through the laundry of foreign aid to their own bank accounts.
Totally agree with the firing up of the military industrial complex for personal gain being a major motive for this. However, I would not rule out using this move as a cover for the failing narrative of the Covid crisis.

Well, at that point in the press conference, Psaki seemed awfully nervous and agitated about something. What could it have been? Too much caffeine from too many cups of coffee before the presser started?
The U.S. has moved half it’s manufacturing base to China. They could cut off critical supplies of dozens if not hundreds of products that would shut down the U.S. economy if they retaliated against any sanctions imposed. Almost all major drugs are made in China, not the USA. The dirty little secret is … China already owns and controls the USA. Trump knew it and tried to begin the process of moving parts of the supply chain back and Wall Street and their lackeys in the political establishment of both parties squashed him.

The entire situation in the Ukraine is, and has been, blatant evidence of Biden/Obama corruption. The fact that we are pushing Ukraine to get into NATO is contrary to past agreements that Reagan had with Russia. Imagine if Russia was attempting to convert Mexico into a Russian satellite. The amount of US corruption, whether with covid, foreign policy, intelligence agencies, etc., is beyond overwhelming.
My late father and my mother’s only brother volunteered to fight in World War II. My uncle was a prisoner of war in Germany and though he survived the war had his life wrecked by the experiences. My father, being an older man was not engaged in physical conflict but had a budding career destroyed. After the war his company was not prepared to take him back and recognize the experience he gained in managing a large logistics office and assisting another one. I am not a passivist but looking at what is happening in Europe and the USA I wish they had not voluteered.
The politicians and the military advisors/leadership who send the soldiers into action will not be the ones dying in the frontline trenches. Whether one loves or hates someone like General Stonewall Jackson and question his actions, he needs to be recognized as one who cared about his soldiers and died because he was on the frontline. If the US was physically attacked, it would be the responsibility of citizens to defend their country but to become involved in one over 4600 miles (7500 km) away calls for non military responses.

Russia is the fall guy for the upcoming FF terrorist attacks on America. There’s thousands of military aged males being escorted all across our country by Brandon’s regime and they are not being brought here for the good of our country.
I can’t tell the difference between American Leftists, hard-line Democrats, and Neocons. We’ve hosed up the Ukraine situation for about a decade, failed to engage Russia to our benefit, and are now on the verge of pretending to save Europe from itself, again. Again. I’m more inclined to apply the advice given long ago when the Soviet Union collapsed and Eastern Europe began sectarian and racial violence against each other; ‘this is a pot best left to boil dry’.
Ukraine seems to have no support or allies in Europe. If I am wrong in this, they need to step up and prepare to do something, even if it is merely sanctions. And we need to be exporting energy to Europe to mute the Russian influence., knowing that will make Russia an adversary again, or giving Russia good reason to look elsewhere for adventures.
And the Ukrainians that believe they are Russian, and if you know the history you know why, they might want to ask for annexation, limited to those who wish it. Maybe this solves a problem, if Russia get the sea port they want, another strategic advantage we ought to address somewhat directly.
