    Oh no- I’m not home!

This deal didn’t work for me , I could only use one $3 cpn – not online and paper one. Anyone got lucky and used both?

    • Barbie

I didn’t it yesterday. Used online & manufactor. Worked perfectly ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Laura

I used both. One digital and one paper. Plus, I accidentally didn’t buy the yogurt version and still redeemed/received $1 Checkout 51.

    • Tjs77tsa

It wouldn’t work for me yesterday but the manager manually applied the second coupon

    • Heather

It didn’t work for me either. It said digital coupon received on the screen, but didn’t apply it once they scanned the printed one.

  3. Mina

Thank you! It reset for me. I haven’t tried using the coupons yet, but hopefully it’ll work at Walmart self checkout.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  4. debern

Thank you! Some how, I had the Aveeno coupon on my screen and inadvertently dismissed it first time it popped up on Coupons.com before I could print it! (just getting that site to work for me again since I couldn’t print from them for the longest time!) Now I have it printed so hope there is still product left to buy!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re very welcome!

  5. Adrienne

It didn’t work for me with paper and digital. Is there a certain order to apply the coupons? I was thinking to let the digital coupon apply to the order first and then give the paper one. It didn’t work when she applied the paper one first. Hmmm….

    • elaine

the manager at my store had to do the manuf. coupon manually. When he would scan the mfr one, the digital one would not appear even though I had bought two.

    • Mel

I had trouble too. The digital applied as soon as I typed in my phone # on the keypad. But as soon as the cashier scanned my IP, it kicked out the digital. I bought 2 different scents (the apricot yogurt and nourishing oatmeal) A line was forming, so I handed over a RR, paid in points. Got the 5000 pts back. I didn’t noticed til yesterday, that the digital q disappeared off my list of clipped offers! I called CS and the rep issued 3000 courtesy pts.

The manager at my Walgreens confirmed that they had caught on to this double manufacturer coupon and it should no longer work. They wouldn’t honor it at mine. I was only able to use the 3 off and get the 5,000 points. Most should expect this deal to not work how it’s stated, without manager override.

    • Mel

But you’re not doubling up manuf coupons. In this case, you have 2 items, and 2 coupons can be applied. Its just that the paper coupon is limited to one per person, so you can’t use another $3/1 IP for the 2nd bottle. The $3 digital should apply to the 2nd item. I’ve never had this kind of issue before with using 1 paper and 1 digital purchasing 2 items. Just last wk, I bought 2 boxes of Puffs, used 1 $0.25 paper coupon and the $0.25 digital applied to my 2nd box.

    • Jane

I’m not understanding how it’s a double manufacturer’s coupon. If you buy 2 you should be able to use one on each product. Do the coupons say only one like coupon per shopping trip or something? If they don’t there’s nothing for them to have “caught on” to LOL! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Cm

I tried to get him to explain but there was a line ๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜” they were so rude about it. I still ended up with 2 for just under 3 if you count the checkout51 and the 5k Walgreens points!

    • Cm

Here is the fine print on the clipped coupon:

“If you received the same coupon by mail, you can redeem either the digital or paper version – but not both.”

I’m guessing that’s why it’s not going through.

      • Mel

No, that just means you can’t apply both to just a single item. Previous transactions, I’ve always been able to use the same value paper coupon for 1 item and same value digital for a 2nd item. Just don’t know why it won’t work for this deal!!

  7. Kim

Felt so stupid at the register. They made me feel like I was trying to run a scam.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh darn! So sorry to hear about your experience Kim ๐Ÿ™ Thanks for the feedback.

  8. Karey Ann

Could you do 2 separate transactions with 1 coupon each time if I had my daughter use the other coupon & my rewards card for both of us & still get the 5,000 pts? Or do you have to purchase the 2 products in 1 transaction? Tia

    • Jane

Unlike CVS, products have to be bought in the same transaction – hope this helps ๐Ÿ™‚

The double dip did not work for me. Manager refused to take both coupons and told me I could only use one. He read the terms and conditions on the digital coupon which does say we can either use digital or paper and not both. Always I left the deal. The body washes were a little pricey $6.36 at our store. Thanks for all the deals and I believe Target may just me better this week on personal care deals! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Mel

This isn’t a ‘double dip’. A double dip is using a store coupon + manuf on the same item. Or sometimes Wags will have a monthly sale like 2/$5, and then a weekly ad will have the same item will be BOGO Free. So you get 2/$2.50. Or getting cash back on multiple apps (like Ibotta + Checkout51) on the same item.
The terms on the digital coupon means you can’t use a paper coupon + manuf coupon on ONE item. In this scenario, you’re purchasing 2 items and you should be able to apply the IP on one item and the digital to the 2nd item. For whatever reason, the system isn’t allowing it.

      • kdd4g2

Thank you Mel, I understand that this is not a ‘double dip,’ excuse my words. I just think Target has many better deals this week. It is jut not worth making a scene at the store and making other people wait in line, get dirty looks in the process and be told you are wrong for two 12oz body washes! Just my two cents. I did not want to argue with a Walgreens manager after a long day at work today. So I left the deal. I am sure another one will come along soon in the future. I get the coupon policy but it is really not worth losing your cool over explaining it to managers who should know what their company policy is in the first place. I am grateful towards Collin, her team and all the couponers here but sometimes some deals do not work and it is ok!

  10. Mina

Walgreens is seriously the worse when it comes to coupons. They’re so stupid even when you read to them their own coupon policy. You explain patiently and they still argue with you. Mine wouldn’t let me use the neutrogena $3 off and the June booklet savings $3 off together. She says they’re both manufacture coupons. One’s from the Walgreens book, jeez, how can that be manufacture?

    • Mina

CVS forever lol ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ CVS tries to help whereas Walgreens I think deliberately doesn’t want people using coupons so they don’t ever bother trying.

  11. Guest2

Well, ran into a little snag. Bought 2 exactly like Collin posted… ๐Ÿ™‚ My store was more expensive though – $6.36 not $5.84. ๐Ÿ™ I handed her the clipped coupon and it scanned fine. The digital coupon did not come off. The cashier argued with me and had to call manager! (I hate when that happens… ๐Ÿ™‚ Manager was nice when I showed her the clipped coupon and she gave me 3,000 bonus points which came out to the $3.00 coupon so I was happy.

  12. Alicia Holman

Why would there be a problem if you are buying 2 products I wonder?

  13. a

Can I use points to pay & get $5 back in points? Thanks!!

    • Mel

Yes! For deals where you have to purchase a quantity, you can redeem and earn points in the same transaction. For spend deals, you can’t redeem and earn.

      • a

Thanks for explaining. I rarely shop there so always forget about these things.

  14. Ray

My store never let’s me use the digital and paper coupon!!! Ugh!

    • Leslie

It’s not up to the store whether they’ll let you use the paper coupon and digital coupon; it’s the register that isn’t letting the digital coupon come off. The people at the store can give you points then and there for the coupon that didn’t come off but why stay when they already have an attitude?
Go contact the live customer support online and they’ll give you the points for the digital coupon not coming off. Works much better than calling because you never know what kind of attitude the person on the other end of the line will be. With online chat, there’s typing and no requirement of replying immediately like in a call so you have time to type and reply.

  15. Lisa

My transaction started off with the cashier calling mgr. just to approve two printables. Just as the manager left cashier scans the coupon but the second coupon beeps and you know what’s going to happen next. Mgr. has to come back and see what the problem is. I told her I clipped digital coupon and that didn’t come off either. She pushed it thru but honestly it was a hot mess and I am definitely not going to back to try to get more. Not worth time and grief.

  16. Pat

Clipped Wags coupons NEVER work, one of the cAShiers even told me that they hardly ever work, I know their system is screwed up and they don’t even care.

  17. lovedeals

It didn’t work for me either. I had one digital coupon so when I gave my printable coupon the system was not taking the coupon. Cashier said because it’s on sale it won’t take any coupon. I told to call manager and manager said it doesn’t matter and told cashier to put manually. I can say it’s always an odd situation when your coupons doesn’t work and a long line is forming behind you.

  18. Wanda

I used a paper coupon and the digital coupon didn’t come up. I called Walgreens customer support and she said digital coupons wouldn’t work if I used a paper coupon even though I was buying 2 items. Doesn’t make sense to me.

  19. Louise

I’m not seeing the ip now. Is it gone? or under a specific zip?

    • Leslie

It’s been a month; the IP is gone.

      • Louise

thanks, that’s what I guessedโ€ฆ.I’ve been out of the loop for awhile
I appreciate your response. Have a great day! ๐Ÿ™‚
