Paisleys are much older than that. In India most people simply know it as the "mango motif" it is one of the most common decorative motifs used

Mango motif suits the shape! That is a conservative estimate. Are there older Hindu text which pins to their use B.C. ?

Linda's pendants are beautiful and I enjoyed reading a bit of history regarding the paisley pattern. Never realized it dated back so far in time.
