Returning to Roots in Natural Animal Health

I’ve been taking quite a lot of time away from blogging and podcasting the past six months. In fact, I know I’ve not blogged since March. I began blogging in 2004 and have always and I mean always remained consistent. What changed? I’m glad you asked! I’ve been working on returning to my original passion and roots in natural animal health.

When my best friend, former business partner and colleague, Dr. Jeannie Thomason passed away in March of 2022, I felt like the wind had been knocked out of me. Yes, we were estranged but to be candid, she was the best friend I’ve ever had and I loved her dearly. I also have missed her terribly. We just lost touch with who we were really were as a team. Running a school was new to both of us, so was a partnership in business, so were a lot of things. We imploded. After she passed away though, I can’t begin to tell you how many people asked if I would re-open our school. I was emphatic on that – NO WAY.

Six months after she passed I was invited into a small, faith-based mastermind. I was reignited and impassioned all over again. The founder of this group is a passionate advocate for natural human health, even though her training is in conventional medicine as a physical therapist. She is truly so knowledgeable and passionate about giving people real pain relief, true health and wellness through her own online academy – she and I are SO on the same page with REAL health care for both people and animals. She invited me to speak with her students a couple of times this year already. The members in our small mastermind (six of us) are all working towards similar goals in helping people be truly healthy and well the Kingdom way. I am the only animal focused business there but that hasn’t hindered a thing – especially since all of them have cats and one has a dog LOL. Being in the group helped me to know, along with LOTS of prayer, that this is what I am to do.

Even better, I can leave the school as a legacy through the Raising Royalty platform where this school will soon be launched – you can join there for free curated content by the way. I’ll share details when my school is ready to be released.

A former graduate who has a successful business now, is my protege. I suspect I’ll be learning just as much from her though so we’re both mentees and mentors – learn-it-alls together. PLUS I hope to be bringing former graduates along as well who desire to participate in our FB community – or on Raising Royalty’s platform for content that gets interrupted by the truth blockers on FB.

That’s the real reason I’ve not been blogging much, but I’m hoping that will all change by July after the school is launched (update: the school was launched in late September). It will be set up differently that the former school. It has a different name but with most of the same content with some tweaks, plus new additions that will be more my focus than the actual main content. That may sound mysterious and covert but it’s time for this in the world now. It’s time for us all to BE healthy and well. Time for our animals to live healthy and well. For such a time as this. And yes, Jeannie will be honored so OUR joint legacy can continue to benefit as many animals and their people as possible.

I hope you’ll stay TUNED to this blog and tell others. I never thought I’d do this again, but God had different ideas since it was ALL His idea to begin with! So until next time…

Have a PAWSitively, tail waggin’, NATUROPATHICALLY healthy day!
