The latest discoveries come from the offices of former Vice President, and former lead of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, Mike Pence.
WASHINGTON DC – A lawyer for former Vice President Mike Pence discovered about a dozen documents marked as classified at Pence’s Indiana home last week, and he has turned those classified records over to the FBI, multiple sources familiar with the matter told CNN.
The FBI and the Justice Department’s National Security Division have launched a review of the documents and how they ended up in Pence’s house in Indiana.
The classified documents were discovered at Pence’s new home in Carmel, Indiana, by a lawyer for Pence in the wake of the revelations about classified material discovered in President Joe Biden’s private office and residence, the sources said. The discovery comes after Pence has repeatedly said he did not have any classified documents in his possession.
It is not yet clear what the documents are related to or their level of sensitivity or classification. Pence’s team notified congressional leaders and relevant committees of the discovery on Tuesday.
Pence asked his lawyer to conduct the search of his home out of an abundance of caution, and the attorney began going through four boxes stored at Pence’s house last week, finding a small number of documents with classified markings, the sources said. Pence’s lawyer immediately alerted the National Archives, the sources said. In turn, the Archives informed the Justice Department.
In a letter to the National Archives obtained by CNN, Pence’s representative to the Archives Greg Jacob wrote that a “small number of documents bearing classified markings” were inadvertently boxed and transported to the vice president’s home.
“Vice President Pence was unaware of the existence of sensitive or classified documents at his personal residence,” Jacob wrote. “Vice President Pence understands the high importance of protecting sensitive and classified information and stands ready and willing to cooperate fully with the National Archives and any appropriate inquiry.”
The classified material was stored in boxes that first went to Pence’s temporary home in Virginia before they were moved to Indiana, according to the sources. The boxes were not in a secure area, but they were taped up and were not believed to have been opened since they were packed, according to Pence’s attorney. I doubt most people really comprehend how screwed up the entire system of U.S. government really is.
The three branches of government, Executive, Legislative and Judicial have become a Potemkin village for the American people to visibly reference as their representative form of government. Here’s why I think Biden needed to bring Pence into the mix.
If some of Biden’s classified docs were taken while Biden was a VP then Biden broke federal law. A VP doesn’t have classification or declassification powers while a president has Constitutional, sole classification power. Biden needed Pence to create an apples to apples comparison because the comparison to PDJT a forme president doesn’t hold water.
Both a federal court (Clinton sock drawer case) and the Supreme court (Navy case) made two things clear regarding the unique Constitutional power a president has over classification.
(1) When Clinton shoves some classified materials in his sock drawer, per the court, the sock drawer material is deemed automatically declassified. So in PDJT’s case, the act of moving classified docs to Mar-a-Lago at the end of his presidency is a sock drawer moment.
(2) Separation of powers: Congress cannot pass any law that infringes on a president’s classification authority -In other words there is no way to prosecute a president for his decisions or actions regarding classified documents..
Back to Biden and Pence:
VP’s ARE prosecutable, not former presidents. So Biden needs another former VP to step up –cue Pence –to say I did this illegal thing too. Perhaps the docs were planted. Or as a buddy of Paul Ryan and a good foot soldier of the Uniparty, perhaps Pence agreed to help (backroom deal).

There is no way this can happen unless someone in the IC is doing an audit of “things checked out, never returned”, generating some kind of letter/notice/communique to the checker-outer (similar to “your library book is overdue”), which in turn prompted a call to the checker-outer’s lawyers to do something.

As a former intel worker back in the early 70’s, Classified material HAD to be accounted for at every step of it’s travel. I find it hard to accept all these classified documents are just drifting around! I could not read it if I did not have a need to know what it is. No matter what clearance level I had, and it was Top Secret with Crypto Access level. I could not remove the document from it’s secure location. Lastly, just what is the level of these documents? Classified goes as low as Confidential which is the weakest of them all. Confidential would be about something like how a payroll is done. There is something that stinks in Denmark and I can smell it in Pa. There is no way in Hell I could ever take classified material out of a secured office!

I remember some years ago, at the height of the Hillary Clinton 30,000 emails situation, there was a small story without a lot of attention. A young bloke from the US Navy had taken a photo of the gym equipment on a submarine. He had done nothing with this photo, and hadn’t sent it on. Plus, it was literally just the gym equipment. But it was considered illegal for him to have this photo on his personal phone because it was from within the submarine and his phone was not ‘secure’.
He went to prison. Now contrast that with these politicians who don’t seem to have to pay for their unlawful classified documents.
But it’s ok, Merrick Garland just assured us there is not a two tiered justice system, so we must be imagining it.

I am pleased by this example of DS panic and desperation. Psychopaths and narcissists get wild when their illusions are threatened. This episode seems to say that THEY are on control of whomever dares to try to be elected. But every time they deploy this stupidity without the “payoff,” they reveal themselves and the reason why they must not exist anymore and must be rooted out.
The payoff is the reveal of the “classified” document as something that actually seems to threaten the people. The fact they will not reveal the substance instantly undermines their credibility. It looks like a fraud because it is. When do we get to see their emails and texts to their various criminal compatriots? I am not very worried if Pence has a classified document, he was after all elected VP and specifically entrusted by the voters to have that access. These documents are not scooped up by these people and then taken by them. Someone packs up the stuff and then they ship it to the politician. It’s entirely possible and likely that Mike Pence was asked to to this by federal prosecutors who were trying to build a case against his old boss, Donald Trump. So if that was the plan and we suspect it was, it backfired spectacularly because Mike Pence’s lawyer promptly discovered classified documents. Because what Mike Pence did was a felony.

This is about the normalization of classified documents to give cover to others that have taken classified docs and kept them illegally.
It is well know former presidents, ALL former presidents have taken classified docs and have negotiated with the justice department and national archives to be able to keep the classified docs or return the classified docs.

My take on this its been going on a long time! People want action, prosecution, justice (what is that?) accountability. I could go on and on !
