Vacancy for the Post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF)  

Applications are invited from young and motivated candidates for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB-funded core research grant on “Elucidating the role of circular RNA in the pathogenesis of small cell lung cancer” in the Dept. of Medical Oncology, Dr. B.R.A.I.R.C.H., AIIMS, New Delhi.  

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow – One Post  

Nature of Appointment: The appointment is TEMPORARY till the duration of the project (Likely till 20 Jan. 2025).   

Salary: Rs. 31,000 + 7,440.00 (24% HRA) = Rs. 38,440.00 per month 

Eligibility: Masters in any branch of life sciences/biotechnology with >60% marks or equivalent CGPA.         

Preference will be given to CSIR NET-LS or GATE qualified candidates.  

Desirable Qualifications: Hands-on experience of mammalian cell culture, processing of human tissue and blood samples, and knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA purification, qPCR, and immunoblotting. Proficiency in computers is highly desirable.

Note:  

• Initial recruitment will be for six months. Then, based on progress monitored by PI, recruitment will be renewed or terminated.

• The decision of the selection panel will be considered final.
