Nitte Mangaluru Infection Biology/Molecular Biology JRF Vacancy

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the research project at the Nitte University Centre for Science Education and Research, Nitte (Deemed to be University), Deralakatte, Mangaluru.

Title of the project	Elucidation of platelet activation and NLRP-3 inflammasome response in platelets during invasiveVibrio vulnificus infection to understand its potential role in the immunopathogenesis

Fellowship	Rs. 31,000/- per month + 18% HRA
Essential qualification	Master's degree in Biomedical Science/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Any branch of Life Science
Desirable qualification	Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of infection biology, molecular biology techniques, flow cytometry and handling murine models.
Duration	The project is for 3 years. Yearly extension is based on annual review of the performance. The position is co-terminus with the project.
